I started off float fishing as a lad then for years I was into feeder fishing bite alarms and now I am back to basics with a float road and really loving catching smaller fish
hi bob I can't wait to get back on the bank the weekend and do a bit of wangler fishing you are literally one of my all time favourite anglers. tight lines bob all the best 👍
I remember fishing hoys Meadow on the Bann Portadown. Bob was fishing a match and I was pleasure fishing on the far bank and accidently catapulted some groundbait into Bob's swim LOL. I was a young teen at the time and feeding accuracy wasn't my strong point!! I was completely mortified. Gentleman Bob didn't complain but I'm sure he wasn't happy... sorry Bob!!! Loving the videos ..
I’ve always fished at march town canal as I lived in the town for years recently moved miss the river there thanks for the tip on sinking the line I never knew that
Proper fishing bob 😊.....ever thought of putting in a bit of hemp in your groundbait a maybe a few squats?...... like you im getting on a bit😟....i fished matches club and open in the 80s.... and never had a bad to be honest using these for mostly bream/roach😊.....would change to caster/hemp colder months 😊.....worked for me atleast 😊....put some strawberry (supermarket) flavoring on your hemp 👍.....might just be surprised by the results 😉😊.....great video 😊....takes me bk years of enjoyment ❤
I most enjoy waggler fishing in the margins bob, with Lilly's/reeds and inlets the best. When everyone is fishing to the islands I'm catching big fish at my feet. 😂 After all that's where the match fishermen's throw in the bait at the end of the day! Thanks for making such a great video bob, I always bought fishing magazines with you in as a kid. Top guy.
Love how that first bream, once Bob had him in his hands, just lay still and didn't move a muscle. _"OMG. I've been caught by Nuddy. 4 times World Champion. I've gotta be on my best behaviour!"_ ;-))...
There's just something about waggler fishing bob I just luv it ' I fish the pole but I'd rather have fish on rod and line anyday, I see a fair few young anglers today that seem to shun it they don't know what there missing out on . PS I still use one of your Browning waggler rods and wouldn't part with it for all the tea in china .👍
I do waggler fishing, pole fishing, and feeder fishing. It's good to be able to switch to whichever method is suitable and to be proficient at whichever method you choose. 👍
What a legend this guy is if I'm still that good at his age I will die a happy man !👌🎣🐟
Top man. Nice to see the waggler rather than all the pole fishing vlogs on youtube
No effing and blinding. Just a true expert enjoying his fishing and passing on years of experience. Top chap.
world champ and a gentleman ,,loves his fishing and puts his knowledge over so well ,he puts the pleasure back into pleasure fishing,,
Cheers for that Stephen.. tight lines.. Bob.
A one hour masterclass from one of the world's best. What a time to be alive.
Thanks for that. Hope it helps your waggler catch rate. Tight lines.. Bob

Спасибо за просмотр. Узкие линии.. Боб
Great video, thank you.
When i use a barrel swivel I put the line through twice then do a tucked half blood knot for extra security.

Awesome. Cheers Legend 👍👍👍
I think that knot is the Seagur knot...
True legend… thanks for the tips
Hi Bob ...you.re on the bottom? Just over depth 2-4" ? Just wondered. Gr8 video.

fished along side of him on the Thames many years ago
Awesome video from the Master! I love my pole, but when there is a chance for a good waggler session, i prefer the match rod.
the knot is a three turn water knot sometimes called a surgeons knot I use when fly fishing for droppers
This is a good one. In today's world of predominantly pole and feeder fishing.... I'll take a couple of match rods any day of the week.
Cheers Nick.. Tight lines.. Bob

Bob you are a gentleman
Makes a nice change to fish the waggler
I don't usually bother with ground bait. I'll have to give it a try.
VERY important part of fishing. Keeps fish in the swim while you bait is out the water. Tight lines.. Bob
Nice!
What size barrel swivel ? Ta bud
Hi bob, do you have any advice for targetting roach over bream on the canal?
Avoid using groundbait and just loose feed casters or pinkies that should catch you roach over other species. Tight lines.. Bob
@@BOBNUDDFISHINGCHANNEL Legend, cheers!
Would more weight nearer the hook take the bait past the annoying minnows at the surface a bit quicker?
Sorry for delay.. fishing! Yes put as much as you can closer to the hook as long as you still get bites on the bottom. Tight lines.. Bob
@BOB NUDD FISHING CHANNEL best reason for not replying any sooner 🤣👍🏼
