The VA for Albedo absolutely kills it. When he was reviving Klee, I could *feel* his pain every time he tried and his structure cracked and fractured. Props to the entire team, it’s insane how the quality of these can animations can be so damn good!
Fun fact. I really was in pain. 🤣 Dillon is such a good director with his vision and he wanted the pains to be hyperspecific. It was an absolute PAIN to get right, but I wanted it to be perfect for him and all of you. ☺️ We did the screams and pains so many times and I'm so happy with how it came out.

Healing abilities rarely get the credit they deserve, but here Alberdo bringing Klee back from the dead is presented something incredibly badass and I'm all for it
I got the CHILLS when Klee did what she did. QAQ;; I'm glad he was able to somehow bring her back. I'd be too upset to enjoy everything else that was shown in this episode if she was completely left to her fate like that.

Scara's reaction to albedo reviving klee was so good. I almost cant tell if its fear or suprise, or a mix. Eitherway he probably doesnt want to mess with him too much
There's so many cool little details I noticed here, like Albedo using his in-game attack animations against the robots, Raiden's circle appearing in the air when she uses her umbrella shield, and just so many other things that add to this already incredible story and animation. And the idea of Raiden using her blood to activate her electro powers, AND PULLING OUT THE SWORD SHE'D BEEN STABBED WITH TURNED INTO THE MUSOU NO HITOTACHI??? I really applaud all the creativity put into this. The voice actors also did such an incredible job, the emotions and voices were on point. I'm so hyped for episode 3!!

The moment when you realize why this animation gives off early RWBY vibes at times, is because one of the lead animators is Shane Newville. He worked closely with Monty Oum to create fight scenes for RWBY volume 1-3.

It's interesting how Ei seems much more stoic than the Shogun here. Nice to see them taking care of Wanderer, even though Ei still gives off distant mom vibes.
It always struck me that the Shogun had a lot of personality built into her that was hidden by Ei's need for her to just do the job of administering law and order. Strong willed, stubborn to a fault, slightly sassy in a very dry humor sort of way. At least, since part 2 of their character story quest and the creation of the weekly boss. It makes sense that, when not having to be a stoic symbol of eternity, she would develop a distinct personality, similar to how it happened for Scaramouche.
Dilongoo really inverted all their characteristic besides one character, that is Klee. Ei and Raiden who acknowledge Wanderer as their family, Albedo who's "enthusiastic" to say the least, and lastly Wanderer who's not hostile at any time
It’s ooc, but in a good way! Although the characters don’t match their canon parts, I actually like them more this way. Because they have more personality. Especially albedo
That final line revealing everything so far has been underground is an amazing twist and adds a lot to the world building all at the same time, love it.
From episode 1 it was mostly implied that the city was underground given how the weather system works and is controlled by the over hanging Fans/Ventilation to push and create rain clouds.
@@mrdriver2988 Yeah, on hindsight, the artificial weather machine gave it away in a very subtle way This episode straight up shows why they're underground during the ending. It took me 3 rewatched to focus on the what's written in the poster in front of Klee's house and make the relation xD
Somebody really needs to hire this freelance animator, everything about this... the story, the choreography, the animation, the graphics, even the voice acting is phenomenal, Dillon Goo would do anything to keep his projects thrilling.

I actually started crying when the rock fell on Klee. This is absolutely jaw-dropping in the best way you could imagine. Best of the best in every single way and category. Voice acting gave me goosebumps. Animation was so smooth I was at loss for words. The plot?! The lore?! Don't even get me started on those. This is a pure masterpiece, and I will wait as long as it takes for more. (as an artist myself this is... wow.)
Okay, this is freaking sick! The way you specifically slow down the framerate in some scenes and then later on tie in the sword in Raiden's chest with her special ability, this is beyond immaculate...! This is spectacular! You and your team are freaking crazy!

One detail I absolutely love about this is we get a little preview about Raiden's blood being the Electro catalyst when she purposely cut herself on her polearm and activated a very powerful Electro reaction effect. And thus when we get her Burst, it's because that sword was SOAKED in her blood. But I'm kind of sad Klee isn't going to join the crew. But her survival does mean that she still has a chance to come in later. I still think her expression when she jumped to save Albedo was absolute perfect mix of "oh god. I know what I'm doing and this is terrifying but I had to do it" and while terrifying, accidentally turned out to be the right thing to do which saved her in turn.
Literally everything about this is sheer perfection. The ruin guard, the booba sword, Klee being super cute, SCARAMOUCHE, scaramouche and Ei's dynamic, Ei!, the cracks in Shogun and Albedo - I hope you are extremely proud of the work you've done
I love the subtle way Scara shows care for Raiden. Like he glances at Albedo, a guy he doesn’t know, then his 'sister' and makes the decision to leave for her safety. In a way, Scara and Albedo are the same. They both have sisters they care about I wonder how their friendship would develop if this ever gets a 3rd episode because I'm dying for moreee
What if there's an antagonist who has a similar motivation like Albedo and Scara? It would be a pretty cool twist if one of the Traveler Twins are on the opposing side. Maybe one star twin is synthetic, and is based off of their human twin who is involved with Zandicorp (It seems in this version, Zandicorp is either the abyss or the fatui, or both). Maybe the synthetic twin can switch between holographic battle sets of their opponents and allies like in Tower of Fantasy.
@@ziephel-6780ZandiCorp is definitely the Fatui. I don't know how it was discovered, but Dottore's real name is Zandik, so it's obvious who the main villain is once you know that fact. I wonder if the other Hanbingers are with him tho, or if someone in the resistance has a personal connection with him; if that's the case, most likely option is Collei, since she can be argued to be a synthetic created by ZandiCorp and used in some of Dottore's twisted experiments until she was rescued by the resistance
I absolutely love this, the part where Klee sacrificed herself when she saw Albedo almost getting crushed was heartbreaking, but the ending definitely made me smile. Hope to see part 3 soon! :D
Is that Albedo’s normal attack string at 1:49 ?? That’s a really nice touch!! I love how this world feels so different but also the same as well. @@datechboi I really don't know the specifics, but if the whole thing goes into funding the project, I think they would be able to talk it out with hoyo, after all in a way it's free marketing. That's why all of hoyo's animations and reactions and stuff don't get strikes for copyright infringement. It's different with money involved but should not be impossible to talk about it beforehand.
I'm glad to finally see the continuation of this series, the connection with both Raiden and Albedo felt so strong and you deserve some much raise with your excellent talent!

honestly it's really incredible how they handled the situation with klee she's so precious that she was willing to lose her life saving her big brother and he wasn't afraid to save her in return and made sure that she didn't get tracked by zandicorp also all the interactions with the inazuma family is just awesome

THIS IS MAGNIFICENT. the way you used in-game animations and skills, the way you renamed Scaramouche/Wanderer, the way you showed albedo's knowledge of alchemy and bioalchemy by giving him this unique power of saving and creating life, the way you treated the whole RS situation (this is my most favourite part!!! it looks like human-creator is either Makoto, that created RS-03 to resemble her sister, Ei, or it's Ei herself who created her "puppet". which is probably more likely considering that Net Nomad is RS-02, being the first prototype of a "puppet"). KLEE. I was so scared for her, especially when albedo boarded this uhh craft, because it seemed like he gave up. but he sacrificed his own well being I'm so!!!!! emotional!!!! the choreography. the voice-acting!!!! I honestly thought I was listening to Patrick Pedraza when Nomad first spoke. this is such an amazing work and I'm so glad you're continuing this project. I hope you and your team are doing well after such hard work. thank you so much!!!
I've been so excited for episode 2 of this series, and as expected it didn't disappoint! Poor Albedo's always faced with difficult decisions in the past two episodes, like how at 5:52 - 6:09 Albedo looks between General Raiden & Klee before finally deciding to use his healing power on Raiden for the greater cause. Once again, thank you to everyone on the team for producing this, and we'll patiently await for the next episode!

So happy we got Episode 2! General Raiden is such a badass. Ei appearing was a cool surprise. I love the sibling vibes between the Shogun and Scaramouche too. Excited for Neo-Inazuma! Also if the Albedo clones can perfectly mimic him, that has huge storytelling potential.

THERE'S REALLY AN EP 2!!! I'M SO STOKED (giant reaction below) 1:49 i so deeply appreciate the recreation of albedo's original atk animation (not sure which one it is in the sequence of his NA chain but you can see it in his demo too) ^^ also raiden's first attack earlier being similar to her charged atk while in her burst >>> and ALSO i love that both raiden and bedo are clearly very proficient in wielding multiple kinds of weapons and switching between them seamlessly (raiden with her polearm that changes forms, and albedo stealing swords and guns from the soldiers)! it not only makes for great fight scenes, it hints as to just how much training / engineering they've gone through to get to this super-high combat level 2:12 comparing the letters on raiden's umbrella shield (somewhat visible for about 5 frames) from the letters in ep 1, it looks like the top-right letter is A but i can't make out any of the others sadly. i thought maybe it was "RAIDEN" but the R and I don't match so i'm really not sure **UPDATE I'M PRETTY SURE IT'S "MAKOTO" 2:23 raiden refers to the ruin golem (an ancient khaenri'ahn machine, as we all know) as something zandicorp "unearthed", rather than created - it makes me think we might be going into khaenri'ah lore (obviously modified to fit the anime plot) and the art of khemia, which is super cool! iirc there's also some interactable documents in sumeru in-game that hint at dottore having studied old khaenri'ahn machines when he was still a student at the akademiya (and still went by zandik), which is a great connection that they brought to the anime 2:54 her umbrella shield is so op???? insane 3:32 ik this is a super emotional serious moment bc klee is in danger / possibly crushed but i couldn't help but laugh at this angle 4:12 GIRL IS FIGHTING WITH A SWORD THROUGH HER CHEST???? i mean ik she's not an organic so she probably?? won't bleed to death or anything (she does have that weird electric blood though?) but i'm still concerned abt how it affects her mechanical internal functioning parts. also ... does she feel pain?? she's obviously struggling later on 4:40 i'm ashamed to admit i only realized it was a reference to musou no hitotachi once she took hold of the sword. anyway this is a super cool adaptation of her burst move! and dang i wish i could cut ruin golems right in half in game with her burst 6:10 I GOT JUMPSCARED OMG 6:37 MOST EPIC INTRO EVER??? it's a great detail that the surveying machines are repeating "unknown identity, identify yourself" when scara shows up on the scene cause yk ... deleted himself from everyone's memories and all ... but he's not in his wanderer outfit, which contradicts the idea. i'm guessing it's not a reference to his having tampered with irminsul, but rather just an indication that he's super talented in messing with surveillance and hacking into systems (the security video feed gets hashed out with red static when he shows up too, and the "CRIMINAL ACTIVITY" warning on the wall disappears)? (update: his introduction later as Net Nomad totally suits him - nomad = wanderer, net = internet / hacking skills i guess; he travels freely through virtual pathways and wreaks havoc on zandicorp LOL) 6:50 albedo's shocked face in the background BAHAHAHHAHAHA 6:57 i'm so done i love him in this animation sm get out goodbye. the angle, the head tilt, the cool glare, everything was PERFECT. (why is he so pretty here?? ALSO THE FACT THAT HE JUST HAS A GIANT CLOAKED SHUTTLE ON CALL I'M DYING) 7:50 LOOOOOVE THE LORE ACCURATE INTERACTION!!!!!! 8:03 last episode i predicted that his synthetic mark would be RS-02 and i'm so smug that i was right (well to be fair it was a logical conclusion) 9:16 you don't know HOW HARD i was begging that those fingers would twitch. it's too soon for klee to die. also albedo sacrificing himself (in some way i don't understand yet) to even have a chance at reviving her? you can just feel in his hesitation at 9:04 that he knows it's hurting himself, that it might not work, but he goes on anyways. i am so !!!! i don't even have the words for it 10:54 the shock in both his eyes and mine when klee was alive. i seriously thought bedo wouldn't be able to do it (i thought maybe he can expand already-living things, but he can't bring life back to the dead. or maybe klee wasn't completely deceased yet? i have no idea) but you can really see in scara's eyes: yeah, this is THE albedo they went through everything for, he actually realizes this is it. he's the real deal
i love the fact that you kept it an original series, yet added cool details from the actual game, like albedo’s attack sequence, the ruin guard, and raiden’s burst, i love the cool details and the amazing series, cant wait for episode 3
Been waiting for this after I saw it on Hoyofair! Another excellent animation with tons of references. Spoiler Alert! If you haven't watched the video yet Starting from the genius use of The Shogun casting the musou no hitotachi while slashing the ruin grader with the initial nuking slash of her burst, to the beautiful use of albedo's favonius bladework during his fight sequences. The ruin grader being a very high threat is actually portrayed logically and accurately by it's shield on it's eye and legs, disallowing you to stun it easily. Other things that I point out interesting is that, this seems like a "What if" Scenario where Ei decided to not abandon kunikuzushi and raiden, resulting both of them to abide to Raiden unlike the main timeline. And lastly albedo's alchemy that breaks him as he transfers his vitality to klee, barely keeping him alive afterwards. That reminds me of equivalent exchange from Fullmetal alchemist! So many things to love here, can't wait for the continuation if it ever exists!
They really did add so much thought-out detail!! Although I might have to disagree with you just a little bit on that "What if" scenario. I'm not saying it's wrong, but I don't think Net Nomad is the original Kuni/Scara, only because of his number tag being RS-02. Personally, I think we're gonna get two versions of him later down the line, but it could just be a thing where RS-01 died before the start of the series as well.

I loved the whole episode IMMENSELY, and I already love this characterization of Scaramouche and the little "I'm older than you" joke to Raiden, BUT I want to draw attention to 1:46 and how they incorporated Albedo's normal attack string almost as it is on Genshin, that's SUCH a nice little detail! It always struck me that the Shogun had a lot of personality built into her that was hidden by Ei's need for her to just do the job of administering law and order. Strong willed, stubborn to a fault, slightly sassy in a very dry humor sort of way. At least, since part 2 of their character story quest and the creation of the weekly boss. It makes sense that, when not having to be a stoic symbol of eternity, she would develop a distinct personality, similar to how it happened for Scaramouche.

Dilongoo really inverted all their characteristic besides one character, that is Klee. Ei and Raiden who acknowledge Wanderer as their family, Albedo who's "enthusiastic" to say the least, and lastly Wanderer who's not hostile at any time
It’s ooc, but in a good way! Although the characters don’t match their canon parts, I actually like them more this way. Because they have more personality. Especially albedo
That final line revealing everything so far has been underground is an amazing twist and adds a lot to the world building all at the same time, love it.
From episode 1 it was mostly implied that the city was underground given how the weather system works and is controlled by the over hanging Fans/Ventilation to push and create rain clouds.

I actually started crying when the rock fell on Klee. This is absolutely jaw-dropping in the best way you could imagine. Best of the best in every single way and category. Voice acting gave me goosebumps. Animation was so smooth I was at loss for words. The plot?! The lore?! Don't even get me started on those. This is a pure masterpiece, and I will wait as long as it takes for more.

One detail I absolutely love about this is we get a little preview about Raiden's blood being the Electro catalyst when she purposely cut herself on her polearm and activated a very powerful Electro reaction effect. And thus when we get her Burst, it's because that sword was SOAKED in her blood.
But I'm kind of sad Klee isn't going to join the crew. But her survival does mean that she still has a chance to come in later. I still think her expression when she jumped to save Albedo was absolute perfect mix of "oh god. I know what I'm doing and this is terrifying but I had to do it" and while terrifying, accidentally turned out to be the right thing to do which saved her in turn.

I love the subtle way Scara shows care for Raiden. Like he glances at Albedo, a guy he doesn’t know, then his 'sister' and makes the decision to leave for her safety.
In a way, Scara and Albedo are the same. They both have sisters they care about

What if there's an antagonist who has a similar motivation like Albedo and Scara? It would be a pretty cool twist if one of the Traveler Twins are on the opposing side.
Maybe one star twin is synthetic, and is based off of their human twin who is involved with Zandicorp (It seems in this version, Zandicorp is either the abyss or the fatui, or both). Maybe the synthetic twin can switch between holographic battle sets of their opponents and allies like in Tower of Fantasy.
@@ziephel-6780ZandiCorp is definitely the Fatui. I don't know how it was discovered, but Dottore's real name is Zandik, so it's obvious who the main villain is once you know that fact. I wonder if the other Hanbingers are with him tho, or if someone in the resistance has a personal connection with him; if that's the case, most likely option is Collei, since she can be argued to be a synthetic created by ZandiCorp and used in some of Dottore's twisted experiments until she was rescued by the resistance

I absolutely love this, the part where Klee sacrificed herself when she saw Albedo almost getting crushed was heartbreaking, but the ending definitely made me smile. Hope to see part 3 soon! :D

@@datechboi I really don't know the specifics, but if the whole thing goes into funding the project, I think they would be able to talk it out with hoyo, after all in a way it's free marketing. That's why all of hoyo's animations and reactions and stuff don't get strikes for copyright infringement. It's different with money involved but should not be impossible to talk about it beforehand.

the way you used in-game animations and skills, the way you renamed Scaramouche/Wanderer, the way you showed albedo's knowledge of alchemy and bioalchemy by giving him this unique power of saving and creating life, the way you treated the whole RS situation (this is my most favourite part!!! it looks like human-creator is either Makoto, that created RS-03 to resemble her sister, Ei, or it's Ei herself who created her "puppet". which is probably more likely considering that Net Nomad is RS-02, being the first prototype of a "puppet"). KLEE. I was so scared for her, especially when albedo boarded this uhh craft, because it seemed like he gave up. but he sacrificed his own well being I'm so!!!!! emotional!!!! the choreography. the voice-acting!!!! I honestly thought I was listening to Patrick Pedraza when Nomad first spoke. this is such an amazing work and I'm so glad you're continuing this project. I hope you and your team are doing well after such hard work. thank you so much!!!
I've been so excited for episode 2 of this series, and as expected it didn't disappoint! Poor Albedo's always faced with difficult decisions in the past two episodes, like how at 5:52 - 6:09 Albedo looks between General Raiden & Klee before finally deciding to use his healing power on Raiden for the greater cause. Once again, thank you to everyone on the team for producing this, and we'll patiently await for the next episode!

1:49 i so deeply appreciate the recreation of albedo's original atk animation (not sure which one it is in the sequence of his NA chain but you can see it in his demo too)
^^ also raiden's first attack earlier being similar to her charged atk while in her burst >>> and ALSO i love that both raiden and bedo are clearly very proficient in wielding multiple kinds of weapons and switching between them seamlessly (raiden with her polearm that changes forms, and albedo stealing swords and guns from the soldiers)! it not only makes for great fight scenes, it hints as to just how much training / engineering they've gone through to get to this super-high combat level
2:12 comparing the letters on raiden's umbrella shield (somewhat visible for about 5 frames) from the letters in ep 1, it looks like the top-right letter is A but i can't make out any of the others sadly. i thought maybe it was "RAIDEN" but the R and I don't match so i'm really not sure **UPDATE I'M PRETTY SURE IT'S "MAKOTO"
2:23 raiden refers to the ruin golem (an ancient khaenri'ahn machine, as we all know) as something zandicorp "unearthed", rather than created - it makes me think we might be going into khaenri'ah lore (obviously modified to fit the anime plot) and the art of khemia, which is super cool! iirc there's also some interactable documents in sumeru in-game that hint at dottore having studied old khaenri'ahn machines when he was still a student at the akademiya (and still went by zandik), which is a great connection that they brought to the anime

(update: his introduction later as Net Nomad totally suits him - nomad = wanderer, net = internet / hacking skills i guess; he travels freely through virtual pathways and wreaks havoc on zandicorp LOL)

The pace of releases these last 6 months has been insane. Huge props for being able to keep this up.
Been waiting for this after I saw it on Hoyofair! Another excellent animation with tons of references. Spoiler Alert! If you haven't watched the video yet
Starting from the genius use of The Shogun casting the musou no hitotachi while slashing the ruin grader with the initial nuking slash of her burst, to the beautiful use of albedo's favonius bladework during his fight sequences. The ruin grader being a very high threat is actually portrayed logically and accurately by it's shield on it's eye and legs, disallowing you to stun it easily. Other things that I point out interesting is that, this seems like a "What if" Scenario where Ei decided to not abandon kunikuzushi and raiden, resulting both of them to abide to Raiden unlike the main timeline. And lastly albedo's alchemy that breaks him as he transfers his vitality to klee, barely keeping him alive afterwards. That reminds me of equivalent exchange from Fullmetal alchemist! So many things to love here, can't wait for the continuation if it ever exists!

They really did add so much thought-out detail!! Although I might have to disagree with you just a little bit on that "What if" scenario. I'm not saying it's wrong, but I don't think Net Nomad is the original Kuni/Scara, only because of his number tag being RS-02. Personally, I think we're gonna get two versions of him later down the line, but it could just be a thing where RS-01 died before the start of the series as well.

I loved the whole episode IMMENSELY, and I already love this characterization of Scaramouche and the little "I'm older than you" joke to Raiden, BUT I want to draw attention to 1:46 and how they incorporated Albedo's normal attack string almost as it is on Genshin, that's SUCH a nice little detail!
