  • Awhile back I bought a water snake motor for my kayak. I recently took it out on its maiden voyage and enjoyed its ease of use very much.

Great video. Just got on with a different mount but purchased the longer control arm as an extra. Cant wait for some time and a bit cooler weather.

Well I don't know what I did wrong but mine in the straight position just makes me turn left and keep going in circles

I tested it on my older kayak first I'm just going to extend the switches to infront of me and rear install it on my other kayak and connect it to my radar system to turn

Sorry mate been a bit busy and keep forgetting to message you back. The battery I bought is- Drypower brand. 12sb24c. 12v 24ah. It’s a deep cycle battery and quite small. I haven’t given it a big run yet but will during winter. 🍻

Thank you... Think I'm going for a lithium phosphate one.. although not recommended ppl seem to have no problems

I have the 18lb thrust and on high the torque shoots the propeller forward and the motor head back. How did you tighten the bolts without the nut slipping on the plastic? Great video!

I get the kayak moving in low mode then switch to high mode. I also have it mounted so my arm lays along the handle. Once you’re moving the inclination for it to twist lowers. 🍻
