- Ever since Dad ripped apart their home to renovate ten years ago, the Galleas have not entertained.
After all, their master bedroom is a dumping ground, they wash their dishes in the bathtub, and their living room houses a computer, an aquarium, and a bed. Not a single room in their house functions as it should… And with a teenage girl and a toddler, that spells disaster.
Will the Galleas be able to complete a decade-long project in just one week?

This was so enjoyable to watch. At first it was a bit disturbing but I understand how hard it can be when one spouse is causing destruction, you are trying to care for a baby and it all starts to feel overwhelming and depression takes hold.
The daughter Marika is the most mature one in the house. Didnt leave because of her little brother.and will keep it up in the future

I’ve done that - when we had our kitchen done there was a problem with the sink, had to wait for a new one to arrive from Denmark. Had no choice but wash my dishes in the tub for a few weeks.
The fish tank is so clean. How does one overlook the home and upkeep the tank?!
Probably because it’s easier to clean the tank than the whole home with nothing in place.
The fish are living creatures. They don’t let them die.

Confession. Their living room is like mine. I have a bed/futon for my kids to sleep on in there. They have rooms. We just live in a house that was built in 1863, and they’re convinced the upstairs is haunted 😂. I can’t bear to make them sleep somewhere that they don’t feel safe
I don't have kids but I understand why you dont want to make your babies sleep upstairs ,especially if they're scared. I'm almost 44 yrs old and I still get scared 😂 in my house at night 😂. That's beautiful how intune you are with your little ones.
So, they are not being taught how to face and overcome fears. Why don't you sleep upstairs in the room with them until it gets worked through? By doing this, you are agreeing with their irrational fear.

PEOPLE LIKE THIS SHOULD BE LIVING ON THE STREET. THE HOUSE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO SOMEONE DESERVING !!!!!!! THIS IS A WAIST OF TIME AND EFFORT TO HELP SOMEONE LIKE THIS. THE FAMILY IS FILTHY AND DISGUSTING. I COULD NOT WATCH EVEN A FULL 5 MINUTES OF THIS. IT IS FUCKING SICK!!!! SPENT YOU "PROFESSIONAL" HELP RATHER ON PEOPLE WHO WANT TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES. POINT.
I will tell you something after having worked where housing is supplied to homeless people, it ends up just as bad or worse than this. Even if they are given furniture etc they pull trash from dumpsters including items with visible bed bugs and move I into their house. The way the encampments look, is exactly how the home ends up looking. And there are many that actually refuse housing because they don't want to have to meet housekeeping standards etc.
