I have been watching for years and just wanted to take a moment to notice Allie's effort. The "product" of all your hard work, these videos, is excellent. I notice your techniques and flow you put into these and they really stand out to me. For example, all your transitions from one "chapter" to the next never get in the way of the story you are telling in that episode. That is art when your techniques dissappear behind the experience you are providing your audience. Keep it up girl.

Absolutely. My Dad was always working outside all day, every day. He had a daylight/walk-out basement. Whenever he entered the house, he came through the cellar entrance to de-mud, change his shoes, etc. He had a full (deep) sink where he could wash his hands or anything else. Then he'd proceed up the cellar stairs to the house. In his words, "I want to keep the house clean. It's the family environment."

Definitely a must for you guys to do in the garage. One of those big utility sinks that are deep.

When putting things away (ie Rusty), make a list and keep it handy, either in Rusty (taped to the inside door) and/or on your computer, then if you are looking for something, you can just look at your list, rather than rummage through Rusty. It helps when you know you have something, but do not know where it is, gets worse as we age, lol.

You guys were trying to lift those hoist frames by hand and I am yelling "You have an Engine HOIST 6 feet away!". Glad you finally heard me. Of course you have a Kubota tractor that can take a bucket system that can lift heavy items too. Another thought is that you could have used the Mini Ex to pick up the package outside of the garage, and maybe even reach it into it. Have some heavy straps if you still have it when the lumber comes as you could use it to move some of the wood stacks around.

They had the walls and roof built pre winter, and then made a tent of heavy plastic around the whole outside walls, added the heat source aka salamander to make the ground thaw and warm. They poured the foundation, waited for it to set, worked for the next 8 weeks and had the inside of our home finished by March. It was crazy.

I hate to be Mr. 20/20 Hindsight, but when you have an excavator that will easily lift the load you were trying to move by hand, USE IT! Sometimes you have to think "outside the box", or in this instance, "Outside the Garage".
But if you haven't installed that car lift yet, that will make the job MUCH easier. Just be sure your rigging is secure, and stay clear. Once a heavy load starts to shift, it tends to go where it wants to go.
But at least that will save your backs. Work SMART not HARD.

Look for your garage cat mouser at a feed store. You want a cat who is an experienced mouser, at least 6 months old and neutered.
If one just shows up, it will very likely be a pregnant female looking for a place to raise her family. Take her in. After the kittens are weened, get her, and the kittens neutered and spayed. Make sure Frank and Lieka know that the cat is part of the family.

Thank you so much guys for informing me about the scam. Two other channels I watch (you guys were the first) have the same problem and I had no clue at all. It’s a good thing I didn’t know how to reply and hopefully everything will be OK with me. These scammers really take a nice thing and mess it up don’t they? Again thanks for taking the time to warn your public.
Great video as usual I love watching Allie help the guys because that’s what I used to do and I miss it. Kisses ❤

Have y’all considered rigging up a couple places in your garage ceiling to be able to hang a block and tackle or winch to assist in loading and unloading these heavy things. Also would be a good place to hang a hammock chair 😊

Hi guys! This is my suggestion regarding Rusty, why not utilize all your space in there by putting storage racks in? That way you will have shelves, that go up to the ceiling. You could even label spaces, or bends for certain items. 🤷🏾

To those asking why you didn't use the tools at hand to move the lift kit, it's easy to say those things when you are watching a video, it's another to be in the moment, like none of us haven't done something similar.
I feel bad for the wood mice, I hope you just set them free.

If the nut has a groove in it then it is reverse thread. Now you can put a tarp over the garage doors and it will actually get pretty warm in there. You need shelves some heavy-duty ones for the garage and smaller ones for your trailer.

We did that in a house we owned that had a barn shaped roof and dormer windows. We had drawers and cabinets built that fit into the walls between the studs, they backed into the empty hollow space between the walls and the roof sheathing. It freed floor space that would have been taken up for dressers in our small bedrooms.

Put mothballs and dryer sheets in where the mice were or where are you do not Want mice to be. Those two items help to deter the mice from being in that location.
