I have been struggling with trying to find a good 40's do for my hair for when I do re-enactments. This has been the easiest and least stressful tutorial! Another look I'm using with this, is to tie the last pieces into a ponytail with a ribbon! Both ways look great!
I used this for a wedding yesterday for x4 bridesmaids. I had 7 people including the bride and wanted something super quick. It worked well, thank you for sharing the idea.

Oh my goodness! So I'm currently growing out a pixie cut and it's length now is maybe a little shorter than the models. Prom is tomorrow! This is a great classic 40's victory roll. I've been wearing this style for years when I want a great look for a not good hair day or for growing out. I use a styling rat or hair padding, but I love this approach too. Thanks so much for sharing.

My hair won't curl in like hers did when u rolled up the ponytail. I need to do the side twists and then take a curling iron and curl it as one large curl then put the hair tie in and then curl it back up the way the curler did it.
