You are absolutely right, churches nowadays have gotten more about entertainment than worship, and as a Minister of Music, that bothers me. I'm constantly looking for songs from back in the day -- songs that my momma sang, my grandmother sang, my daddy and grand daddy sang. Folks giving testimonies, and and never been through a test (now I'm going to leave that alone. That's a whole other subject).

ANd Minister of music for the Womens department choir. I ususally play for her in September during SW3 state womens convention. SHes very much alive....She gets me everytime with an old old old song that she'll sing outta nowhere she pushes me to learn the old hymns, congregational songs,& anthems.
