@@rubenramirez1173 on the German Autobahn 100 mph is not a big deal. I had my modified G30 M550 up to 300kph/187mph. Anything above 140 mph in my opinion was moving. Minivans there are doing 100mph all day long in the unlimited zones on the Autobahn.
@@ericthuku9731 manual transmission is better on automatics you can have problems with swirl flaps in the intake... rust on the back door (touring) and under side doors. They used very solid materials, glass and leather are thick and plastic parts are very durable... at all it's an unbelievably good car... cheap parts and freedom on the highway just for 4.999ml/100 km :D
mine is a 525d, same engine but 2.5l, and I can relate that it's a amazing car. bulletproof, good torque and amazing style for it's time. my fav BMW. hope one day I'll have the M5, e39 or e34. newer ones are not that interesting.

@@Infinite.Hatred Before post 2002, BMWs were pretty reliable, youd be surprised. It's jsut that after the e38 7 series everything relied too much on computers and as you know computers from the early 2000s don't age well.

AutoptopNL drives way more responsible. This guy is pushing cars in front of him with less then 50m distance at 200kmh. I also often drive at high speeds on the autobahn. But @200kmh you should have at least a 100m distance to ur frontman. It is no problem to drive 300kmh or more, but people like him are the reason many (not the most) germans want a speed limit on the autobahn.

the red riding hood Porsche driver was polite giving space for pass-by and also nice for the bmw driver to not try to gain the gap before the porsche approached the slower traffic, but nicely did let him come back on to the passing lane. Nice to see this kind of behaviour, its exactly how things should be, flexible and safe. Additionally, you could try another time of day to avoid traffic, especially when you attempt to reach top speeds.
Probably the best car that was ever created. Since I was a kid I used to look at my dad's car and I used to think to myself "This car looks so fucking cool" and now 13 years later we still have the car and I'm the one who drives it now. I will never sell it, memories are too powerful man.

BMW is the best. I had a similar Wagon 520 d year was 2000 and it kept going like a lion. I drove it from Texas to New Jersey without any issues. Great 👍 driving and excellent stability!!
My first car , E39 525tds for 14 years , second car E39 touring tds but to slow car , little engine underpowered , third car : E39 525d , much better but... fourth car , E39 525D touring automatic , swapped 3.0d with shaft and differential , 193hp calculator with immo off , stage 1 - 231Hp (kept the torque limiter on first and second gear ) , E60 530D injectors with nozzle 926+ from the E39 , new original turbo garret , full service of gearbox and it drive realy good ...
In the US it would not be a problem if drivers training would be like the training in Germany. Training in germany was also much simpler 30-50 years ago, but it got harder and more expensive but that helps to prevent crashes.

Very good car with a great engine. Had an e39 530d 5spd manual few years ago. Was fully stock and recorded 0-100kmh 6.6sec which was actually pretty quick for an almost 20yr old diesel sedan what got 5l/100km at highway.
WoW!! Around 5 minutes into watching driver's, video/simulator experience, I was symbolically thrown to the left side of my family room couch and virtually through driver side window. Then onto hardwood floors spinning and skidding out of control in a head to foot rolling formation. Before busting through my favorite Lazy-Boy manufactured, reclining chair with pop up foot pedestal and pre-installed electric, butt heater. Ending finally, as my body rest partially embedded against a now crushed interior wall across the room and underneath flat screen TV. Where TV had been kept firmly anchored, frozen motionless since installation approximately one year. Now broken in two halves, notably quivering as one halve each, laying over either side of my broken right hip bone. Yet did not obstruct sight of traumatic right leg bone, splinter break protruding through an opened blooded flesh wound tear as result of high velocity collision course, forced impact. That's when Lucy my sweetheart, woke me up licking my face and wagging her tail as if she were literally saying, "hey, wake up you! Time to fill my dinner bowl - chop chop." What a great fun time?! Let's do it again. 😎👍😉 Вау !! Weekly Fails my e39 (no touring) is extremely quite even at 200km/h. One of the most relaxing cars i have ever owned or driven.

My dad had a 323i. I drove it many times. Such a charming car with funkiest exhaust sound. I wish he hadn't sold it and kept it for me.

Русаки в германии в первый раз на автобане боятся газовать и едут кае черипахи . Это плтом когда прижевутся тогда гоняют .
Давно не был я в России так под самим Питером аж растерялся как там дорог наделали, и в крайней полосе многие за 200 ездили как ни в чём не бывало.
Естественный отбор , нормальные остались бы

WoW!! Around 5 minutes into watching driver's, video/simulator experience, I was symbolically thrown to the left side of my family room couch and virtually through driver side window. Then onto hardwood floors spinning and skidding out of control in a head to foot rolling formation. Before busting through my favorite Lazy-Boy manufactured, reclining chair with pop up foot pedestal and pre-installed electric, butt heater. Ending finally, as my body rest partially embedded against a now crushed interior wall across the room and underneath flat screen TV. Where TV had been kept firmly anchored, frozen motionless since installation approximately one year. Now broken in two halves, notably quivering as one halve each, laying over either side of my broken right hip bone. Yet did not obstruct sight of traumatic right leg bone, splinter break protruding through an opened blooded flesh wound tear as result of high velocity collision course, forced impact.
That's when Lucy my sweetheart, woke me up licking my face and wagging her tail as if she were literally saying, "hey, wake up you! Time to fill my dinner bowl - chop chop."
What a great fun time?! Let's do it again. 😎👍😉
Вау !! Примерно через пять минут после просмотра опыта водителя, видео / симулятора меня символически бросили на левую сторону дивана в моей семейной комнате и через окно на стороне водителя. Затем на паркетные полы вращаются и заносят из-под контроля в наклонном направлении. Перед тем как разбиться через мой любимый изготовленный Lazy-Boy складной стул с выдвижной опорой для ног и предварительно установленным электрическим нагревателем. Наконец, когда мое тело отдыхает, частично прислонившись к теперь разбитой внутренней стене комнаты, где плоский экран телевизора был плотно закреплен, неподвижно замерзло с момента установки в течение года. Теперь разбит на две половины, каждая половина дрожит, лежа по обе стороны от моего сломанного правого бедра. Тем не менее, такое не мешало зрению травмирующей кости правой ноги, разрыву фрагмента, высовывающемуся из плоти через открытую кровоточащую рану в результате скоростного столкновения, вынужденного удара.
Именно тогда Люси, моя дорогая, разбудила меня, облизала мое лицо и мотнула хвостом, как будто она буквально сказала: «Эй, разбуди тебя! Время ужина."
Какое отличное времяпрепровождение ?! Давай сделаем это снова.

Fahre einen BMW e46 330d 204 PS als Alltagsauto. Mit 360.000km. Der Motor läuft einwandfrei. Super Motoren die bmw früher gebaut hat. Fast unzerstörbar 👍🏻
