my biggest thing with the e46 lights are not the aftermarket for them because you have a ton of projector and Angel eye options. I know the wiring is included but why has no one made a reproduction of the factory wiring.
For me. It is the first time to see demonstration like this. Great work that Do the job. Wish to see how did you connect them with the wiring fixed. Especially the demon eyes and hailos.

You say that it is imortant to rotate the low beam before installation, makes sense. Is it still possible to ajust the headlight hight after installation?
Will this work with a ZKW headlight? If so, do I need to get a 3.0 or 2.5 lens retrofit? I would love to do this retrofit on mine. 01 E46 325I. Please let me know what is needed for this retrofit.

Would it be possible to change my OEM D1S projector for a set of these Morimoto D2S 5.0 projectors? The 45 degree slope that it outputs looks way better than the almost 90 degree slope of my OEM D1S projectors.
Hi, my name is Daniel and I have a 75 rover with facelift headlights. I would like you to tell me if I can replace the long phase h9 halogen bulb with a xenon kit.? and what would that kit be. thank you. a beautiful day.
Sorry for newb question, but the D2S is low and high beam,, and you used a separate LED high beam unit. So the D2S high beam is never turned on? Sorry if I'm missing the obvious.
@@HansGarage Understood, I saw the part about the solenoid. But the D2S high beam mode can be used and I guess was intended to be used as the sole high beam light? But I guess you're using a splitter and getting the D2S high beam and the LED at the same time. Could there be any legal issues with that? Since high beam is under full user control I suppose it wouldn't be an issue unless one forgets to put on dim.
No legal issues. They are solely meant for low beam and the projector solenoid opens it up for high beam mode. Which you can control it from your fingertips using the splitter.
Hi- thanks for the detailed instructions. I have an E46 as well and plan to follow your project exactly but the link for Hi Lens projectors is still not working :-(
@@HansGarage dang I wish I would of waited before I bought the hid setup to replace my halogens I’ll probably just switch to these instead. One question though I got the hid retrofit as of rn in my e46 but every time I turn them on they start blinking uncontrollably took it to the mechanic and they couldn’t figure it out they did tell me the wiring is fine in my car so I’m just confused as to why they don’t work. Thanks for led suggestion though but idk it just feels like a waste not to get the ones I have to work.

Hey, great and informative video. Which Dremel bit did you use?
You say that it is imortant to rotate the low beam before installation, makes sense.
Is it still possible to ajust the headlight hight after installation?
Yes and no. You can used your oem adjustable screws for the whole headlight but you will not be able to move your projectors once they are sealed

Hi , link no longer works
Does Hi-Lens (inner led bulb) also comes on when you activate highbeam (push stalk forward)?
Hi my friend I am trying to figure out how you screw the bulb and the igniter can you help me

How much power does one projector draw? I’m thinking about putting one on a ebike
Do you work for Morimoto?
For bmw e46 original xenon projector witch morimoto projector fits without mods . 2.5 or 3 inches model

Outstanding informative vid. I don’t see your contact info, via email address or otherwise. Is there a way to get in touch with you or?
ask for Jae :)
HAN'S GARAGE
Will do. Thanks!
Great vid - did you use a shroud for the hi-beam projectors?
I did not. I actually liked the floating look so decided not to go with any shrouds
What do you think about using a big step drill for making my H7 hole bigger to fit the D2S projector?
Sorry for newb question, but the D2S is low and high beam,, and you used a separate LED high beam unit. So the D2S high beam is never turned on? Sorry if I'm missing the obvious.
D2S is actually a single beam bulb. It's the projector that opens up for high beam from the low beam mode.

Let me get that for you
Actually, we are coming out with the 2.0 so we are all out of the hi lens 1.0
Your links aren’t working. Trying to find those high beams online. Also, is there any coding or other modifications needed for the LCM and what not?
No coding necessary. You may or may not need the canbus harness instead
Also fixed the link for you
So what size the angel eyes halos is?
131 or 146?
Hello planning on doing this on my bmw soon just wondering which hid kit would be best

One more do you think it could be because I used a 55 watt ballast instead of a 35 watt one?
@@Delvii you probably need a canbus harness to make your HID bulbs not flicker
Which high beam splitter is that? need one for my e46 as well
