RETAINED CREW ARRIVING! Kent Fire & Rescue Ashford Retained Pump turnout!

Kent Fire & Rescue Retained Iveco Eurocargo turning out of Ashford Fire station. These Iveco Eurocargo’s are relatively new to Kent Fire & Rescues fleet with this one being a 70’ (2020) plate and some other Iveco Eurocargo’s in the county being 21’ (2021) plates, Kent Fire & Rescue also have 65’ (2015) plate and 16’ and 66’ (2016) plate Iveco Eurocargo’s.
Only two firefighters crewed this truck because they were responding to a medical call, when these retained vehicles go out with only two crew the callsign changes to an 'Echo' callsign and they can only respond to medical calls however not many retained crews have the 'Echo' callsign in Kent. I do believe most of the retained crews in Kent will respond to medical calls with a full crew but the 'Echo' callsign is used for retained crews which are short staffed at that time and can only respond to medical jobs as they don't have enough crew to operate the Pump meaning they cannot respond to Fire calls.
