- A major fire took place in Ashford on 15/09/2020. 15 Fire engines from Kent fire and Rescue attended along with other special units such as the water carrier and command vehicle and specialist foam unit (which was cool to see). HART (Hazardous area response team) from South East Coast ambulance were also in attendance along with Kent police. I would of loved to get to where the Command unit and HART units were but police officers and fire fighters didn't let us though on that part of the incident. As you can see the fire was very large and the time I'm uploading it about 5-6 hours after the incident it is still happening. Firefighters did a great job to get the fire sorted! I would of stayed on scene for as long as I could but officers from Kent police moved us on for our safety (they also nearly arrested someone!) Sorry I was behind loads of bushes its the only place I could really get to film, I always try and get to the best spots possible but this time I tried my best but I couldn't so like I say sorry about that, but I'm sure you get the idea of what is going on here! Fire cars from Kent Fire and Rescue were also in attendance.
The specialist foam unit can be seen at 06:18
