All Bauer pads come with a stock +1 thigh rise ? Even on the customizer on their site I don’t see anything else. How does it compare to ccm and brian’s thigh rise
Some good info but wish it was a little more impartial. Surely the 2S lineup wasn't perfect, could be helpful for future videos to include some of the negative aspects
I’m a 6’1 goalie but I use 35+1 ccms this year being thirteen I grow really fast so at the beginning I was probably 5’11 so u for ccm ur probably 35+1 my ccms still fit nicely
hey Taylor, might be a weird question but do you know if the 2.9 pads will come in sport gold. My teams colors evolve around sport gold and i don't have enough money for the 2s. like last year it was only on the 1s not the s190. Thanks!
Hey Derek, thanks for the question! Unfortunately, I don't believe Bauer is planning on including sport gold on their new senior-level supreme gear. But with the smaller colour zone on the 2S graphic, Padskinz might be your best bet! - Taylor
Thanks for the question! This might be the toughest question I've been asked here. The Warrior Ritual G4's feel lighter, while the Bauer Supreme 2S pads feel slightly quicker when sliding in the butterfly. As far as which one is better, I can't give a firm answer because it all depends on personal preference. If you want a pad that can bend and flex to fit your style, the Ritual G4 will suit your game better. However, if you prefer a stiffer pad that maintains its shape in any situation you should choose the Supreme 2S pads. Hope this answers your question! - Taylor
Source For Sports thank you Taylor, always look forward to your on ice reviews and thoughts on new goal equipment. One last question: will Bauer offer full graphics customization on the pads?
I'm glad you've been enjoying the videos! We appreciate you tuning in! As far as Bauer's digi-print custom graphics go, I know they're working towards making them available to the general public in the coming months, but I can't give any sort of firm timeline. - Taylor
how does the set fair for sliding when it comes to heavily used ice? cause sure slide is amazing when the ice is fresh and clean but what about when its all used and abused ? that you didnt touch on
Thanks for the question! I didn't get a chance to touch on the 2S pads' performance on rough ice because the ice in the video was fairly fresh. However, I have been using the Supreme 2S gear since November and I can confirm that they still slide amazingly well on rough ice. Even if the ice is completely beaten up you can easily slide across your crease with one small push. Hope this clarifies things for you! - Taylor
sorta, i forgot to add on ice conditions where say the zamboni drivers suck at their jobs nthe rink gets slightly flooded cause they dont know how to clean or the rinks ac unit is shitty at keepign the rink at freezing temp for ice to freeze the water quickly
1s suck. 1x odins suck.. i sure as fuck aint spending another 3 grand just to tell you guys that the 2s suck too. im pissed at bauer, im going with warrior or ccm next season.
Great way to review the gear. Wish more reviews were like this! thanks
Thanks Bernie! We're glad you enjoyed it! - Taylor

Doing a review on the Brian’s Optik gear anytime soon? Thanks! Also how tall are you and what size do you usually wear for a butterfly style pad?

Im 6"0 will pads that are 35+2 fit me?
timur Planlan
For Bauer you need large but for numbers you’ll probably need a 36+1

Thanks. I have been checking out the warrior G4 and will probably get those.
How would 2s compare to a Vaughn xr v7.
Now for the question on many minds: which feels better, lighter, quicker : these pads or the Warrior Ritual G4s?

How he says Punishment "years of punishment they take"
Why do the shooters gotta skate so close when your trying to break in pads while talking for the vid that’s rough

buddy is going so sweat
Dawg Greg wow just wow it’s fucking hockey you 12 year old fortnite sweat
It's disappointing to see the new B-fly pads losing there aesthetic appeal, this seems to be the trend of the future.
You get up with your left leg a lot..dominant leg? Nice review though, not much of a fan of Bauer though.
Was nursing a right hip issue at the time! And we shot all 3 reviews in the same day so it was really starting to flare up!
That rink is in st catherines... thats my home rink lmao
