Anytime anyone says a watch is small, I am reminded of Tony Soprano wearing a 36mm Rolex and it looking perfect on his wrist. This watch looks fantastic on you.
Thank you for your great comment (and I agree, it’s perfect size). Ironically, my girlfriend and I are red watching The Sopranos right now and I notice his 36mm DayDate every episode. 😊
Hi just subscribed today and finding your content and journey very interesting..thanks…been mulling the Santos for a while. It’s a watch to get my wife for our next anniversary that I could also wear occasionally. Great choice 👍
Hi Giovan, thank you for your comment and Sub 😁 I think both you and your wife will love the Santos! I am actually doing a giveaway of you are interested here: ruclips.net/video/Aoc0jxv4_7E/видео.htmlsi=OZM-lL_3NKW_Ro1J
Just bought the large after trying on both large and medium a number of times. The medium just didn't have that presence and looked a tad dainty even on my 6.65 inch wrist. Btw, that medium does look a bit silly on your wrist!
I agree the large version definitely has a lot of "presence" - I actually find it a bit too large for me. And I agree, the medium is a touch too small for my wrist. The best size for a square watch IMO is 37mm - like my TH Monaco. But this watch does have classic proportions that I do like. Wear yours in good health!
If you want it to be sporty, get the large if the lug to lug isn't hanging off the wrist. If you want it to look more classic and true to Cartier as a jewelry brand get the medium. There is actually a whole forum subsection on why no one should get the large unless they have a massive wrist (8"+) 😂. Wear what you love.
Hi Darellhunter2205, actually I do not like this watch with the date and only like it as a no date. I just think the dial looks “perfect” without date and uninterrupted Roman numerals. Interestingly, that is the way I feel about the Rolex Submariner too - I prefer it without the date.
@@DougsPerspective Thank you so much for the response. Watches without a date do have a nice flow with the symmetry uninterrupted. Wear them all in great health. Cheers!
Hi Bigp7644 … Thanks for your comment. I would agree with you if it was my only watch (I would normally prefer a larger size). But in my case the Santos is my dressy watch and I actually like it in the smaller size for that purpose. Plus, the larger Santos would be too large for my girlfriend to wear (since we both use it).

Wear it in a good health, enjoy it
Can you tell me your wrist size as I’m considering to buy the medium santos .
Thank you Ahmed! My wrist is 7.25” / 18.4 cm. It is a beautiful watch and I hope you get one … and wear it in good health! 😊
I’m late to this video, but anyone saying this looks small needs their eyes checked. Medium is the only way to go here
Hi Rashad, Yes, I completely agree - the medium is the right one for me. :)

Wear what you love.
I’ll be in Asheville Saturday if you need someone to babysit your watch!
OK 😂😂😂
Awesome vid, thx!
Thanks MJ!
Cheers Doug!
Hey Sergio! I hope you’re doing well! 😊👍
Does it ever bother you not having a date?

@@DougsPerspective Totally agreed, regarding both watches.
So…Gianni Agnelli is still alive and turned into a ginger
Who is Gianni Agnelli?
Little small for your wrist

It looks like you’re wearing your wife’s watch …. It’s nice but I think you need the larger size
I agree it is small … but I do like it 😊
Yes I hear you. Large is too large. This one is the one to get. Congratulations

Hi Ara, I’m not sure what your comment is … I’ll be happy to respond if you can clarify. Thanks!
Silly.
