I love it when calving season rolls around. I always remember back when I was in high school, the pet black angus cow I had would stand at the fence closest to our front door and wait to see me each morning getting on the school bus. However, when she had a young calf, nearly every morning the little rascal would slip under the fence and be in our driveway. So my bus driver often have to wait on me while dad and I wrangled the calf back under the fence with mama! Otherwise the calf would follow me to the road.
I have been watching since the first videos. Every summer I think "I hope he is wearing sunscreen!" I have had 5 Mohs surgeries on my face from too much sun. Sorry, I am the worrier in our family. I love your videos, they are so wholesome and informative. Take care.
The “champagne” calf is a beauty. Rivet did throw out some great offspring in varying colors but with great conformation. Hope the rest of calving goes smoothly.
Good morning to you , Tyler! Those bottle babies sure are cute. Too bad they can't take a load off the heavy milker ... Sheshhh she's full... Lol. Another great video. Wishing you and your family a great day!
Great video Mr Tyler I enjoy seeing Callie and Bellie🫠💕 I wish your video's were just a little longer. On our side, watching your video's time goes by so quickly. And by the way the kids are adorable and getting so big ! See you in the next video 🙂
Love see all the babies, we currently have 14 babies on the ground this year. I raise chickens and brood out baby chicks also, be mindful that chicken snakes can get inside the barn/shed where your chick brooder is and snakes can go right through that chicken wire on top.
Does your grandma still live in the house there on the ranch? It would be really cool for her to be on a video telling stories of when they started the ranch versus where your at now.
Your pressure washer pump needs pump oil that sells at Home Depot due to low oil. You may also need to replace rubber O rings inside the pump. I have the same machine that you have.
The bottle calves be like "Cool, the mobile milk dispenser is here, must be chow time. Oh, no, the mobile milk dispenser ran away. Oh, no. Well, we won't fall for THAT again. You better have milk the next time you wake us up."
Your likely problem is your gas. In Cali, its tough to find ethanol free gas. Regular there has the ethanol (Alcohol) in it, "draws in moisture" so you end up with water in your gas 100% of the time. Flush out the old gas and get ethanol free gas and your problems will likely disappear. Or get some seafoam gas additive and try that!! I never use regular gas in my small engines and they fire up just like they did when I shut them down. First pull
Tyler, your not thinking on the wasp killer.... you will poison the cats too ! you don't want that they are your rodent control.... I just hope I'm not too late with this warning ! save the cats !
Cant beat how picturesque -black cattle, calves, green green grass and trees - a little bit of heaven.
It's beautiful. If I was a cow I'd want to have my babies there!
I agree!

Do think about what Suzanne says here I’m also dealing with cutting cancer off my face and body…peace Tyler…
All the cows are looking good and the babies another day on the ranch .

20 plus for this RUclips watcher is just fine with me.

Good morning to you

that little calf said "this milk tastes like water". :)
It must be skim milk 😂
Fun to see the daily doings. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your dad pour the slab.

Great video. Thanks. You seem to be doing all the right things. As usual😊
Enjoyed seeing all the calves.
Have a great day. Looking forward to seeing the slab finished.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO TYLER 😊
Looks like things are going well with the calving, other than the one hard pull. Love the colors
The bottle calves be like "Cool, the mobile milk dispenser is here, must be chow time. Oh, no, the mobile milk dispenser ran away. Oh, no. Well, we won't fall for THAT again. You better have milk the next time you wake us up."
Bovine psychology….. never gets old!
Hi Tyler the weather is stat to get warmer 4-11-2024❤
THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO
pressure washer and old trough are words that make me nervous when used in the same sentence!
Thanks for the boric acid and apple cider vinegar hack. You will have to let us know if it works for the wasps.
Thanks 😊
Must of borrowed a side by side from someone. Glad it's available for you to use.
I see u got a new side by side
thx
On the pressure washer it might be clogged carburetor ports from stale gas sitting over the winter.
After you pour the concrete After five days you can put your shute on it
😊
Do you hope for twins often? Or the costs and extra work involved cancel out the bigger pay-off at the sales barn?
I prefer to move new calves with mommas in the morning or evening when the calves are more active and not napping.
I like to move mine after the dew is gone, mid to late morning
Nice if you had a swimming pool with a wave machine (for the kids)
They’re not gonna hurt you, as long as they’re garden garden wasp you can actually make friends with them and relocate them at night
When did you get the Side by Side repaired ?
March 20th was the first day of spring this year.

Branding Saturday
Did you get a new mule to ride around on ?
Could you graft your bottle calves on her? I don't know if she would take them, but it might give you a break on some chores.
Have you thought about grafting one of the bottle calves on to #26?
Hey Tyler, what do you feed the chicks at this size?
New side by side?
Did you get a new side by side
The bottle calves are getting big, was that a new side x side that you were driving?
It happens. Hope you don’t loose anymore chicks.
I have 580 babies on the ground and i have 500 more to go
Good gracious! Belly is a tall as Cali now?
Why don't you put a bloat block out in spring?
😊❤👍
💖💖💖💖💖
Should just use a 5 gallon bucket to start with. The water will get stall.
Is that the side by side??
❤❤
Does the wasp mix kill bees, too? 😱
Really hoping your humming birds don't drink that
I see 2 hungry calves and an overproducer cow. If she was in a pen with all 3 would she let them nurse.??
I'm thinking the same thing!!!
When I get my chick's I always add a little sugar to their water. Helps give them a boost.
That boric acid I use way more it kills a lot of creatures 😂
Such as?
i would like to know the numbers
They helped to pollinate just like bees, but they don’t make honey, and they keep bad bugs out of guardians and crops
👍👍❤🐂
I would have just used sugar water with boric acid
👍🇨🇦

Maybe paint the braces a lighter color?
Feeder and water on blocks get out of shavings
They’re probably still too little to reach if it’s up in blocks.
You should of been at the back of the cows in the first push . Just saying .
You got a new side by side?
