Final episode of Teknoman Hope u guys enjoyed it i sure did. Wished it was longer though but watever still was a awesome anime.

I remember being very emotionally impacted when it was revealed that Darkon was Blade's (D-Boy) older brother, specially because its just his head. This series was phenomenal because it mixed a lot of themes that made quite an impression in my young mind.
I love this series and its probably one of the best anime Ive watched, I think I must have been like 8 or 10 when I saw this back in the mid 90s.
Should watch the japanese version, there is much more emotion since Blade's memories are erased
Star's voice actress Barbara Goodson was the voice of Rita Repulsa. What a great voice cast for this series.
I watched this when it was on Australian TV in the morning before school. Ran during the early mornings during Cheez TV. So glad I can come back to this program all the time. Thank you for uploading.
Epic series, epic plot, emotion, betrayal, love, hate, violence, action... It's got it all!

Like so many others that didn't get to finish it because of UPN; thank you namz6! So stoked on how well the individual characters had their story arc drawn out in the long run. When I hear those blast doors shut on the space ring I get a little sense of Aliens sound fx. So many cheesy good one liners.
David Perez I totally remember this! At some point UPN just started the whole series over instead of continuing to show new episodes lol I was so pissed
@@LonestarCP I remember they did the same with Dragon Ball Z. They stopped right at the part when Goku was fighting the Ginyu force. UPN sucked for anime
After having seen the UPN version when I was a kid, I just recently reconnected with this show!! Damn was it AWESOME!! Kinda sad tho that Blade ended up being a vegetable...HE AND STAR NEVER KISSED!! DAMMIT, THAT'S WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR!! Oh well. Blade you were a hero, even paid the (pen)ultimate sacrifice (his memories). And in the end you got the girl, even if you're not able to love her back. EPIC. That's the only way I can describe this anime. Just EPIC.
Beg your pardon but they kissed in the previous episode (they're in shadow but you can still see they did).
Watch the japanese version, they do kiss (And implied that they made love in his old home.) and the show makes it clear that he's not a vegetable, he even says Aki's name. Tekkaman Blade II even has him up and about to teach a new team of heroes.

*For its time* it was a GREAT show and even has concepts that anime's today are using....So many subtleties in the characters and their development that shows of today need to take notes on...the show was genuine in how it progressed and didn't seem like a cash grab from its producers....
+vStreetStruckv I agree the story was pretty well written, and when it came to the romance between Blade and Star it wasn't cringy to me like it is with almost every other show I've watched were the guy is super oblivious to even the most obvious of attempts, where as blade almost picked up on it immediately and made it so it wasn't super awkward. which in my opinion is something shows should do more of, shame that's not one of the concepts shows of today took from this show.
Poor Pegus! That was one tough and devoted advanced robot! He gave up his spark to save Teknoman! It hurt to see him destroyed at the very end after all the battles that they had been in.
Just incredible. It was refreshing to see this great series again. It has always been one of my favorites, and always will be.

I love how the turning point of the battle with Darkon, is pegus being broken apart! forget shara, sabre, the earth, ringo, blazac or even his girlfriend star's pleas. We all loved pegus, afirmative.
Wow I loved this when it was on tv. It's the 1 thing I watch from start to the end

not the turning point, Bro; the LAST straw. I mean jeez, not even the guys ROBOT was safe, and that robot had the love of ALL of the space knights built into it. The real moment when Blade kicked it up was when he was losing himself and Stars voice came to him. Darkon never stood a chance!
And note; took all of ONE [hell HALF of one] episode, but the fight was SPECTACULAR, the emotions HIGH, the visuals STUNNING and the death of the bad guy so COMPLETE it had to happen OFF WORLD.

You are full of so much win right now Namz6, thanks to your uploads iv been following this series for the last few weeks watching a few episodes whenever i get the Chance, it was sych a blast and beautiful series that i remember from being a kid thanks dude your awsome!
Man I used to watch this Anime back when it was on UPN(channel 45 back then) It took this many years to finally see the rest of it. Thanks for the upload! I think this was one of the best endings an anime could have. abit sad yet beautiful at the same time :-)

ahh those were the days thanks for show this.
.....already lost all of his memories, but kept fighting out of instinct. the exchange between him and Omega is also completely different, and the battle is much much longer, with near 10 full minutes taken out of it, and the ending. needless to say the ultimate conclusion is the same, but it makes way more sense, and feels natural, not rushed or forced. you can watch the original version on animehere. com listed under Tekkaman Blade.
that's the price to pay, every yin has a yang. i like this ending. the death of balzac and miles were also moments that made this series worthwhile
When Darkon says that he has Venomoid Masters, this makes sense. I mean, it was just one Probe ship that attacked Earth so there HAD to be more of them out there.

Tekkaman Blade 2 is the official sequel series but it's an OVA so only 6 episodes. There's a big time gap between the two series. Another OVA was planned, called "Missing Link", meant to cover the events in that gap. Unfortunately it was never fully produced, so a preview-like version is all we have but it ties together a couple things at least.

I don't know if you ever watched the original version of this show, the Japanese version, but it is quite different. for one the music is completely different, changed for the US version, as was the dialog. now you might not think it would make much of a change, but believe me it does. for one thing, the original Japanese series was a full 5 episodes longer due to editing, and the resolution is quite different. by the time D-Boy(Blade in US) reaches Omega(Darkon) he had....

@daxariusdebruin It got cut out in the dub, but in the original they had no choice but to burn most of the infected pods with people to stop the Radham.

Original "Tekkaman Blade" have more episodes.
For example, an important episode that Nick/D-Boy and Star/Aki visited the house that his family lived a long time ago...

wat can i say i think todays anime can take a lesson or 2 from this series, it was sad wen it needed to be it was happy , funny and the jokes fitted it too a T wat a shame with the ending but overall i think a 9/10 is a fair score just cause of the ending its not a perfect 10.
WTF happened to the venomoids on earth and all those people transforming in potential teknoman? It seems like they just killed the puppet "darkon" (mind controlled teknoman warlord) and the venomoids won and earth got wiped out. Ah well, maybe I missed that part. Thanks for the upload.

@@TheDragonstar2 He was the warlord, and he served the aliens who created the teknopods. There's one episode where they talk about how teknomen and all the spidercrabs are slaves of the venomoids. It's not revealed who they are, but it's implied that they're still out there and might make a comeback.
I hate the crying parts in this series which it causes me more pain.
all i have to say is ending blowed but the series over all was good a pitty tekkaman blade 2 didnt take off for long that would of been a good series as well

Watching Tekkaman Blade 2 now...Star (her Japanese name is Aki) turned into a militaristic bitch. Gone is the sweet, soft, teary-eyed girl that only knew how to say "Oh Blade!". Also its kinda insinuated that they're romantically involved (Blade walks out of her room while she's asleep...did they bang or something?) but nothing concrete. Not to diss or hate, but Tekkaman Blade 2 is missing that urgency and fire that the original had. Just doesn't enthrall me. BLADE & STAR FOREVER!!
