    I had a bunch of #scrapwood piling up in the shop, and I wanted to make something useful out of it. So I put together a quick coffee table. I wanted it to have a minimalist #MidCenturyModern feel while still being a quick #DIY project. It was a really fun project, and I'm really happy with how it came out.

    After months of waiting for another desk, ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMAlHv7-BBWMrPRm5-uEoD6rtdT7SG2Qr I finally canceled the order and went with the Belleze black and gold. It fits perfectly in my office and the drawers are a nice feature (keeps the clutter off my desk for more room to work!) It's modern but sophisticated. My husband got it assembled in less than an hour. The only negative is that it leaves prints! I wound up complementing it with a large desk mat/mouse pad (which also helps to prevent scratches) so no more fingerprints! Overall a nice desk for the cost!

    This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ruclips.net/user/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

    I really love the way this turned out. It's also incredibly helpful to see how you adapt when you run into a problem; I think I learn even more from the mistakes than I do from the perfect projects. Thank you!

    I love how having that piece of flatsawn oak at the front gives you view of the nebulary rays along the front edge of the piece. Really cool placement choice.

    Beautiful work Chris. This video really speaks to why your channel is so great. Your a great story teller, with a refreshing eye for design, and your not afraid to show your mistakes instead of showing us how to make a drawer box for the 800th time. Keep it up man.

    Love it! Just started listening to you, Ben, and Mike’s podcast from the very beginning! Your videos are great! Love the narration that you give, it’s uniquely you. I’m about 11 episodes in now!
    The craziest part about it, is hearing y’all talk about what you are working on, and having already seen most of your videos if not all of them, and then hearing you talk about them before you even made them is such a unique feature I get to enjoy now, and couldn’t enjoy if I’d been following your podcast from the beginning lol! Keep up the great work!!

    I really enjoyed this video. I have been playing around with designs that have separation (or perceived separation) between the top and the base. I think the distance between the short-side apron and the top looks really cool.

      yeah...those little touches go a long way in a design I think. They really bring it to a new level where it doesn't just look like pieces nailed together.

    My usual comment of loving your video, and the podcast this week was great. Loved the honest talk of “selling out”. Eventhough there’s more sponsors in your videos, I don’t think it detracts from your videos whatsoever. I personally like knowing what companies see the opportunity to work with a great creator and jump on it.

    • @Foureyes.Furniture
      @Foureyes.Furniture  5 лет назад +1

      I think it all lies in the viewer, assuming we're not doing something crazy. If I was trying to get people to buy things I knew were no good that would be one thing. But like I said in the podcast, I'm selective with the brands I work with...and if I work with them I stand behind them. I try to keep it of value to the viewer, even though I know they aren't the most interesting part of the video...but it enables me to keep the train rolling. So the people who like the show and want to see me do more...they understand that, and are in turn happy to see the sponsors roll in. Keeps things free :)
