Awesome 🙂 really cool!! Wishing you the best on your adventures! I own a modified Land Rover Freelander but for my daily drive in London I have a lovely 2009 1.2 Panda , brilliant little cars❤️
he's right, if you need any advice on this, let me know, I've fitted 3 or 4 on boats - all to the highest safety standard. getting one will transform your car camping. you could use it in the car and transfer it to the boat later down the line. they're dry heat so they eliminate damp
Oh, Nestor, how proud your parents must be of you. It is so rare to see someone who chooses to truly experience life as you do. You exhibit both cleverness and kindness in such an unassuming way, and anyone who can call you 'friend' is a very lucky person indeed. Cheers, mate!
The handbrake is critical for handbrake turns 😂 You can keep the vehicle in gear for more assurance. I like what youve done with the mats for window covers. I use a silver bubblewrap type thing thats sold as radiator reflectors. Cars are way moee stealthy than vans too, enjoy the freedom!!
@nestorandhisboat I had to cut them slightly bigger than the windows to get a good fit. Once correct, you can use the left ones as templates for the right ones, just remember you can cut more away but you can't add :)
Welcome to the south west. I highly recommend a climb up High Willhays, north Dartmoor. The highest point in southern England. It's then just a short walk to Yes Tor and its magnificent views. You can see the sea on a good day. I very much enjoyed the video, keep at it.
I love your little camper car! Cute and practical for an adventurous spirit like you. The clouds and distant rain squalls on your hike made for some great lighting and landscape views and I do hope you survived those miserable gale force conditions! If your busy schedule permits, we should discuss some time aboard Zanetia next summer. I’m planning to be on her May through October but of course June through August are the best months in Maine.
You are certainly getting around Nestor. I am so happy for you being able to enjoy new things and explore around the places you can now get to and access. Keep well and safe. James.
Panda 4X4 is pretty amazing, My Mum has had 2 now and they both did snowy Pyrenees roads way better than things like Land Rovers etc. Very cool vlog and super nice to see you back
@@nestorandhisboat Farmers around where I live in the Pyrenees still use those old boxy ones , normally with big knobbly tyres and they're pretty cool. Is yours petrol or diesel? If diesel make sure you regularly check particulate filter; my Mum didnt and wreck the engine
Just for the record: did you know, that the now 40 years old original boxy Pandas were designed by Pininfarina and advertised as sleeping 2 grown ups, when putting down the backrests of the seats to horizontal? I well remember, because as a student and having a VW Beetle I dreamt of such a car. But these old Pandas were of very poor quality, the one you've got is so much better.
A bit of a change Mr. N. All the same , I hope you are still focuses on your education levels to permit you to attend Uni in 2026. How are your plans going for the sailing trip around the UK ?. Is Marine Biology still your choice of further studies next year?. It's always been my opinion that marine science is so , so important due to the lack of interest , world wide ,over many years. Cheers , Dave.
All appears to be going well for uni, but we will see in June. I’m lining up some sailing instructing and saving money so that I will have enough to pull it off. I need to get out more in Weymouth to gain more experience also. I will still be applying for marine biology, and yes what’s interesting is that there’s still lots to discover in the sea. Thanks, Nestor
Wondered what happened to you. Are you still going to do sailing? I suggest you post more often and regularly if you can, you'll gain more subscribers. I enjoy your videos!
Hi Nestor, if you realy get a year off, you have with your sadler the ideal modest go anywhere boat. I know, it's not your own boat, but perhaps you'll get it for just another year.
Panda owner myself like what you’ve done
Really enjoyed this video you definitely make it interesting the way you film and edit 🎉
Thank you so much!!

Happy new year!
You could install a cheap Chinese diesel heater to keep you warm all night. They use very little fuel and are extremely easy to install.

Der Micro Camper ist ein guter Anfang.

Thank you! I try to do as much as I can to get out and about. Thanks!
Yey … I also camp in my silver panda too 🎉 I’m constantly changing the layout to get extra room . My Pandora says hi 🐼

Haha yes correct that is their use. I need to refine the window covers a bit but they worked fine for one night! Thanks for tips

Nice adventure. Thank you for sharing the experience.
Nestor and his ... Fiat? Glad you were able to get some content out even with the wind. Hope you didn't die :)
Haha, not a bad name! And I can confirm I did not die
You really enjoy life Nester. I did the 10 Tors in 1966 When I was in the Royal Navy, lovely place. Enjoy life when you are young.
Would love to do the ten Tors one day!
Great video. Your enthusiasm is infectious. :)
What an amazing idea to make a mini camper! Loved the tour and watching your wind adventure hike, well done!!!
Panda's even 2 wheel drive are bullet proof. Just as you are surviving Dartmoor. I don't miss it since i did my military training there tbh!
my brother did the same, sleeping in ditches under a piece of plastic

Yes definitely need to go back to Dartmoor and to a different area, maybe even do two nights. Glad you enjoyed!
That's so cool! Hope to see more camping videos! :)

I try to get out and about as much as possible, so nice to have the freedom of having a car now and being able to do more
Meanwhile... we're celebrating the new year here in shorts! Btw, you'd enjoy walking the West Highland Way. It's stunning. Happy New Year!!!
West Highland way is definitely on the bucket list! Happy new year

Thanks! I think one day I will get the 4x4- perhaps the original “boxy” one. Glad you enjoyed it

Well done young man, awesome trip.
Happy New Year Nestor. Stay safe out there in the wilderness. 😂
Happy new year!
Awesome!
Nice one Nestor. Great stuff lad. Stay safe out there.
I'm thinking Arizona USA would be much more hospitable and fun! 76F under sunny skies and NO wind!

Just winter time so less sailing and more school, things will really pick up in June when I finish my exams and have a year off!
