this song makes you see&feel that nothing is wrong changing. this is something that has taken me almost 30 years to realize. I have goals that I've wanted to accomplish but have been to afraid to leave my comfort zone. it's been a catch 22 with me. some of my goals have been to lose weight and get my GED,just to name a few. but I've been dragging my feet in getting it done,now I'm regretting it. I'm 28,overweight, no diploma or GED,and making 9 dollars an hour at a dead end job. I know it could be worse,I could be homeless, in jail or dead, but when I was younger I thought I would have done like Alexander the great and conquer the world. it was in 1999 when I was 11 that I started to have these goals. first was losing weight, I tried to eat better and workout more,but didn't stick with it. I have started and stopped more times than I can recall,and you will NEVER get thing's done that way.it has to be a day by day,piece by piece effort. while this advice is for everyone, I'm trying to speak to younger people in particular. I work with kid's between 17-20 years old, kid's barely coming up on 2 decades, I hope if your reading this comment you take this to heart. I'm not much older than you at 28,but it wasn't that long ago I was your age. whatever your planning to do,do it RIGHT NOW!!!!!!,not tomorrow or the next day,Do it RIGHT NOW!!!!!! get it done and over with!!!!!! because tomorrow becomes yesterday real quick. 1 year turns into 10 even quicker. don't put it off because your gonna wake up one day and see that the calendar has changed 10 years. again don't put it off,and just do a little bit day by day. I want to see you do good, hopefully you'll read this and take it to heart, good luck in all you do.

Absolutely man.. 6 years ago i was stuck in a dead end going nowhere job and went through a nasty break up with the mother of my daughters. An old friend was getting a divorce and we just hit it off like nothing i could ever imagine. 4years ago when you wrote this I was still in the same damn job. My gf (now my wife) had my 3rd child. I had 2 from a previous relationship and she had 2 from a previous marriage. I had no choice it was nut up or shut up time. Got my CDL and started making some cash. Eventually due to back problems I stopped driving big rigs and WENT BACK to that shithole. Telling these 18 yr old kids to get out while they can. Some listened. After another 2years it was time for a complete change and moved 400 miles away with my family. Great job now making over $35 an hour working whenever I want. Doing what ENJOY and that's helping others. I am a far different person than I was 6 years ago. I was a psychotic asshole. New change coming with the impending divorce from my amazingly beautiful wife and best friend. This change scares the shit out of me. But if I've learned anything with my changes so far than it will get better, but I don't see how that would be possible. How do you improve from being content with am Angel by your side.
+Blue saber 88 kudos to you for trying to inspire but you complain about making 9 dollars an hour? if you work 8 hours you rack up 67 dollars (roughly 1000 zar) per DAY. some people would sacrifice anything to make that kind of money even working two jobs at a time some won't make nearly as much as you do at the end of the month. so i guess my point is, like you said, be grateful for what you have 'cause it might seem small to you but to others it looks like you have the world

I love this song. It's not just a song with a good melody and a lyrics which is rubbish but so simple that everyone can sing along. It's more. It has a good melody but also the lyrics has a meaning. It's something you have to think about/ sth. that keeps you thinking about it.
