This could be sold to the UK, Australia, New Zealand and some African countries without any modifications as it is right hand drive. That would offset the production cost and generate international sales. Leyland used to be British, until it was sold off

Just don't suppress indian muslim citizens .

They are deployed well behind enemy lines so direct fire upon them is not expected. Wherever there is chance for direct fire , Army takes suitable steps accordingly.

6x6 trucks and all terrain trucks should be made available to civilians also... I don't know why Indian truckers are using pathetic trucks which can't even move properly on a flat pakka road..

Ashok Leyland does not have product range with bigger platforms 10x10, 12x12, 16x16 currently, however, it is developing. Meanwhile, those platforms which it has developed like 6x6 and 8x8 are new replacements for Tatra Trucks.
Tatara was purchased at a time when tata or ashoke leyland or mahindra didn't had world class defence vehicles. Now they have, tata & ashoke leyland both have world class military trucks now (check their websites) - and Indian army started ordering those for a long time now. The thing is we can't retire tatara trucks now simply because these are not obsolete & it can give us service for many more years. I recently traveled near china border and saw tata's modern military trucks in use in heavy numbers - so don't worry - India is buying its own basic stuffs.
