Hi, looks interesting. If I don't have a car head unit in the car, how can I connect? I have an 8" Android tablet which I use for seeing google maps, etc. I haven't understood how you got the dashcam view and apps on your head unit. I don't have wired apple car play too. Pls explain.
MG Astor CVT I like car linkit dash cam because 1. It is an integrated dashcam and wireless android player and hence 1 device less in the car 2. The installation process is very easy and doesn't require a visit to workshop 3. The price point at which we are getting it (combined with 20% PP discount) adds cherry on the cake 4. The day time and night time resolution seems pretty nice 5. And since this integrated feature ain't available easily it ll make my car unique in itself How PP videos are helping me: 1. Since I am an Astor owner and technically handicapped, these videos are basically spoon feeding for me 2. The products shown are premium and you use them yourself which adds to authenticity of the products 3. The presentation is very lucid and to the point. All the basic points are covered and it leaves no room for doubts and questions. Moreover any questions, if at all, are answered with utmost honesty and promptness IMO. 4. the latest Sony Starvis 2 sensor used in Viofo and 70Mai is the best till date and delivers 4k output with better nightvision. The older gen Starvis 1 sensor is also quite good. But this 1080p output doesn't seem fit for the competition. Overall, it's a good product with so many features clubbed into a single product. This will free up USB port shortage in the car cabin. It'll be great to see a better sensor as unless a dashcam is able to capture number plate in night vision, it is not worth investing it it.
Can we use google maps with the phone internet, without inserting another sim in the dashcam? and which one you will suggest among this dash cam and Tbox.
Yes you can do that! Mobile hotspot!! See I would say take the tbox plus/usb/uhd as per your budget! This Dashcam will make you limited to just one car, however the tbox can be just removed and used in all cars with wired Apple carplay!!

I have Wired android auto in my verna 2022, however i see carlink kit works only with android system head unit. If i am wrong could someone explain how if i purchase this i can serve 2 in 1 purpose?
If you have wired Android auto you can't use this Device because it needs wired apple carplay to work... It turns wired apple carplay into an Android system. The only thing you can do is - turn your wired Android auto into wireless Android auto with Carlinkit 5.0 Feel free to revert

No you don't! However I would say it's better to have a dual or three channel dashcam+ Carlinkit T-Box Plus or max! This particular model doesn't have excellent camera system

Hi Prakash, One doubt on fitting the dash cam . In mg astor there is separate usb port given for attaching the dash cam which is company fitted .And this usb is just near the IRVM. So you can use that usb to connect the dash cam right?Then using this long wires to connect is not required I think.Let me know if I am wrong..
You can connect dashcam but then wireless Android auto and wireless apple CarPlay and Android box won't work!! So we need to connect the same with the same usb port with which we connect wired apple carplay

Seeing your vedio I have purchase carlinkit dash cam , after purchasing I contact the customer service how to upgrade the software. They send me a link I downloaded the software in SD card and upgrade the device. First two days it works smoothly . So today when I run the device I notice that the app icon of loadkey was not display in my car display as a result I can't operate the camera of the dash cam and no footage has been stored in the memory card its very unfortunate. I have send mail to the company regarding this issue and waiting for their reply. So I request if you could help me solve the problem

@prakashparadise are you still using this dashcam in Astor? Do you know how many amps the media usb port is? For me the wireless android auto doesnt always connect. I have to reboot or reset the system. I wonder if its a power issue since it has too many features. Somewhere I read about Astor usb port has low power

1. It is an integrated dashcam and wireless android player and hence 1 device less in the car
2. The installation process is very easy and doesn't require a visit to workshop

4. The day time and night time resolution seems pretty nice
5. And since this integrated feature ain't available easily it ll make my car unique in itself

Not as good as 70mai
The concept of the same is the main attraction!
the latest Sony Starvis 2 sensor used in Viofo and 70Mai is the best till date and delivers 4k output with better nightvision.
The older gen Starvis 1 sensor is also quite good.
But this 1080p output doesn't seem fit for the competition.
Overall, it's a good product with so many features clubbed into a single product. This will free up USB port shortage in the car cabin.
It'll be great to see a better sensor as unless a dashcam is able to capture number plate in night vision, it is not worth investing it it.

If you have wired Android auto you can't use this Device because it needs wired apple carplay to work... It turns wired apple carplay into an Android system.
The only thing you can do is - turn your wired Android auto into wireless Android auto with Carlinkit 5.0

One doubt on fitting the dash cam . In mg astor there is separate usb port given for attaching the dash cam which is company fitted .And this usb is just near the IRVM.
So you can use that usb to connect the dash cam right?Then using this long wires to connect is not required I think.Let me know if I am wrong..
You can connect dashcam but then wireless Android auto and wireless apple CarPlay and Android box won't work!!
So we need to connect the same with the same usb port with which we connect wired apple carplay

Seeing your vedio I have purchase carlinkit dash cam , after purchasing I contact the customer service how to upgrade the software. They send me a link I downloaded the software in SD card and upgrade the device. First two days it works smoothly . So today when I run the device I notice that the app icon of loadkey was not display in my car display as a result I can't operate the camera of the dash cam and no footage has been stored in the memory card its very unfortunate. I have send mail to the company regarding this issue and waiting for their reply. So I request if you could help me solve the problem

@prakashparadise are you still using this dashcam in Astor? Do you know how many amps the media usb port is? For me the wireless android auto doesnt always connect. I have to reboot or reset the system. I wonder if its a power issue since it has too many features. Somewhere I read about Astor usb port has low power

I have skoda superb sportline and I guess this will be the product that I can use to make it complete package for a luxury cary car as Skoda Superb sportline does not come with daahcam and wireless applecar play
It can be a good option but i would suggest you to go for TBox plus and separate 2 channel dashcam as the quality is still not Superb in nature AS your CAR :)

I ordered this after seeing your video & also I used your promocode as well but my order is stuck in between. While checking the tracking id , It is showing it departed from China. Meanwhile I got a message in my what’s app saying “My shipment is stuck at custom” & they are asking me to send my aadhar card & emailId for KYC”.
I have a doubt whether this msg is from genuine custom person or fake.
