The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want... Something is telling me that there is a deception in the idea of dating and promoting it. I think that we shouldn't perhaps mix sound doctrine of godliness, righteousness with human philosophy of psychology... I might be wrong but can it be that the truth and sound doctrines are being influenced by deceiving teachings? Learn to rest and trust in God. 😌. When Faith begins, anxiety ends sis. What I found is that my anxiety was a lack of faith and trust in God and me trying to premeditate and solve everything instead of just trusting in Him and flowing. But then again everyone’s different. It could also be spiritual. Either way God can help us with anything and in the way he chooses. That was just the tool or revelation he used to help me with that ☺️.

I got out of a relationship at the end of last year, and I always desired marriage so it was very hard for me to know he wasn’t the one. God has completely got me through the breakup, and performed many miracles for me to get me through it (I am over it btw) Months later I met this guy and we started speaking, and almost immediately he seemed to know I was the one. It was a flattering thing to me at first, but then talking to him just made me like him even more. But then I just felt fear, and I just had my walls up. I just thought “this is too good to be true” 😭😭 Thank you God for giving me the desires in my heart. I don’t deserve any of this, but you always do good to me 💖
Penelope416 it was a miracle basically. He told me that where he lives if you speak to a girl, that means you’re in love with her. So one day we just met online and we spoke. I didn’t really think much of it, I talk to many brothers and sisters in Christ online, but there was instantly a connection when we started speaking. God is speaking to us both, but I believe God spoke to him first about me 😂 I’ve never been in a godly relationship before. I just desired one. He’s been a follower of Christ all of his life, so he’s definitely the spiritual leader here.

I have learned about how some people will "love bomb" others to reel them in. And just because you have a connection with someone, it does not neccesarily mean that it is God's will for you to be married. Number 2 spoke clearly to me. I was always the type to strive to be a better person for myself as well as others around me. My recent relationship ended and I was judged pretty harshly by a "Christian" woman. This season of singleness has brought me so much closer in relationship with God and has taught me sooo much about myself & others without even attempting to be in a relationship with anyone else. I continually trust Him to bless me with my next relationship while I'm still doing my healing. But the perfectionist in me thinks there's so much that needs to be healed and I'm not worthy yet. It's like I'm trying to paint of picture of myself in comparison the way my ex judged me instead of knowing that God's image of me is already perfect in His eyes. I was idolizing her and her words instead of trusting in God's word and promises. I admit I didn't want to watch this video thinking "oh here's another one that probably won't resonate within me" but it actually did with #2 and it was very important for me to hear. So thank you 💖
One of my major problems is fear. I believe God showed me my future husband almost 4 years ago. I tried to chase him and it didn't work. I have grown a lot since then, but I am not ready for him yet. I have observed and obsessed over him. I realized he isn't ready for me either. I have faith that he is worth the wait, but the waiting is hard. I see him all the time at church and know he is also attracted to me. I have a lot of growing still to do, but I feel stuck right now. Pray for me 🙏!
When you pray for a specific person for a partner, be open minded and acknowledge that the person you want may not be the one God wants with you. Be flexible and move with God, because if you fix your mind on a person whom God doesn't want with you, God will definitely not give you the person and you may end up really broken. Instead of singling out somebody for God, let Him single him/her out for you, this saves a great deal from heartbrakes. Let go of the desire for a partner and instead fill your heart soul and spirit with God's word. He won't let you down.

These other things he spoke to me about cuz he's working on me.. 1.Eating healthy, took up boxing and bicycling to get in excellent shape, 2.Giving God the last 30 minutes of my night every night ( most of the time) so I can clearly hear his voice for his divine direction, 3. Fasted, 21,days 4. Consciously smiling more even when I don't feel like it. It changes my whole day. 5.Trying to keep my home beautified. 6. Bought all new under garments as my comfortable but rageddy's wouldn't be attractive in any way to a spouse. 7.Learning to speak less and listen more in ALL circumstances 8.Asking God to show me what he wants me to face and deal with now before even THINKING about getting married. I got married at the age of 22. I don’t regret the marriage as it taught me a lot about myself but I wish I waited.. I wish I placed God first and glorified Him. I wish I listened to my family. I used to give this book (along with the 5 Love Languages by Chapman) as wedding gifts to every bride and groom getting married. But even if you are not getting married yet, it is SO helpful to understand the differences (mental and emotional) between men and women...especially when dating. Plus it helps you to understand what mistakes YOU made in past relationships...so don't keep making the same ones, over and over again! We can only change ourselves, not others and if we have a wrong perspective, (always a "victim"), then we never learn how to be better at relating to the opposite sex.😅And this is really important for those of us who want to glorify GOD in his sacred covenant of marriage.😍
I really like hearing this one mark. I go back and forth with this topic a lot and even though I'm content with being single, I know when God put something in your heart as a desire for a relationship / marriage one day it's hard to ignore that. God knows the heart anyway. I know I just have to get out there and put in the work, but also me maintaining the fine line to make sure I'm pursuing something biblical.
I feel like im depending on marriage to save me from my unhappiness. I see marriage as a way out but I also know that another person won’t make me whole. The timing, man! God did lead me to my very first church. And now, after I've given my life to Christ, He almost immediately gave me new purpose - and showed me my spiritual gifts. I want to live, serve and love Christ, by building my life around this church, by serving my brothers and sisters and by loving them. And now this - God literally highlited this one girl in my church, as a way to help me with previous, painful relationship situation. I just had first conversation with her and I really do like her. She's modest, kind, funny, outgoing and smart. Oh, and also very pretty - her dark eyes are almost terrifying, to be honest! I'm grateful - my life is just getting started. I want it all - lows and highs, I want to experience it, something I've never had before. I want to live! Live!

Good video. Lately things have been improving for me. I think God has blessed and helped me in different ways around the same time, enough that it doesn't seem to be coincidence. Certain opportunities are opening up around the same time, I am learning how to grow and understand how a man should think and act more. I feel stronger in resisting what has brought me down for long enough. Only problem is, that woman I like that I want to date, she may still only see me like a brother. Hopefully that changes, though certain relationship coaches that aren't Christian say to just move on. I've been trying to be different around her and hope she is impressed. I am just waiting for a good opportunity to ask her out, but am afraid of seeming pushy, especially since she seems to prefer communicating in person more.
I want so badly to have a best friend to marry. I had one. When I became a Christian we fell apart after 10 years. Very hard. But he was everything that I don't want in a man. We just grew up together and were so comfortable. I want the best God has for me and I'll wait however long it takes. Please pray that we all have patience through this time of singleness and let us not become so obsessed with finding someone that we lose God along the way.

It's okay to be sad about that, that's normal. but when your identity is in Christ and not in what others think of you, you don't need to be devastated by such news :)
This is very natural. When they admit their attraction for someone else than you, it can be disappointing (I have certainly certainly been there.) I would encourage you to seek God's will concerning that in your life. If that person is God's will, it will happen organically and on God's timing. If not, no worries. Be encouraged because God's best for you is there and on it's way.
Have you ever fell off a motorcycle? It can hurt like hell, even with full protective gear. And you have to get up, pick up your motorcycle and continue like nothing happened. But you can't do that right away. You need to take a break, because you will feel dizzy, numb and in a state of shock. You body will probably ache as well. Once that passes, and you feel 100% like your old self again, THEN you can get back on your bike and continue the ride. That is exactly what it's like to start dating again after a painful experiences you had in the past.

Turning 21 next month. I truly can say my desire for marriage is h u g e. But in the midst of a virus, a global change, possible return of Christ sooner than expected, and now with a college degree being delayed longer than expected, I wonder if number one I'll ever enjoy the joys of a marriage (I do yearn for it, and I know it may never happen, but brother can dream,) and second if there is even a point in my existence and desires considering the times. For all I know, this world could be over soon, so now I'm in a conflict as to whether my dreams have merit/purpose or if I should just align to only Godly dreams disregarding what I really want. Yes, it is imperative to be Godly-Oriented first and above all things (I actively struggle in this department,) but I also yearn for dreams and ideas I wish I could see come to fruition by God's Grace and Powerful Timing. It makes you wonder, you know?

How do you feel about involving the state in marriage vs the church. I've been up and down bad marriage, ans divorce alley 2 times. I'd re-marry religiously but not with the state involved.
I only want God's will for my life. Recently I was deceived by a man whom I met online - he had heavenly encounters, he functioned in words of knowledge, he knew the word, he was very attractive, he loved Jesus and knew "the language" but then many red flags appeared after 3-4 months.... the spirit of pride and the Leviathan spirit questioned my identity and who I was as a daughter. I would share prophetic words direct from scripture and he would tell me I wasn't hearing from God. That was all a lie in Jesus name. It was a deeply traumatic season for me. It was difficult to lay him down - but it was evident there was no fruit..... therefore I was obedient to my Father in heaven. Almost 2 months on now....... I know my husband is out there somewhere... I pray for him every day....and I know my God is raising him up to be the mighty anointed man of God that he is called, destined and purposed to be. I know I'm the perfect help that he needs to fulfil his purpose and vice versa. I believe we will take back kingdom culture on the business mountain, creating wealth for nations and the poor. I believe he will live local to me (not found on the internet) and will already be positioned on the economics mountain doing great and mighty exploits. I'm not into dating - in fact I haven't dated anyone in person for 6 years (when I gave my heart to Jesus) because I'm a real woman of God. What this means to me is, I'm a worshipper, I'm a prophetic intercessor, I'm obedient, I don't sleep around, I don't "chat" to men.... I'm 100% legit His daughter and I will continue to be for all eternity. I trust in Him and all that He has for me. I love you Jesus.

I got out of a relationship at the end of last year, and I always desired marriage so it was very hard for me to know he wasn’t the one. God has completely got me through the breakup, and performed many miracles for me to get me through it (I am over it btw) Months later I met this guy and we started speaking, and almost immediately he seemed to know I was the one. It was a flattering thing to me at first, but then talking to him just made me like him even more. But then I just felt fear, and I just had my walls up. I just thought “this is too good to be true” 😭😭 Thank you God for giving me the desires in my heart. I don’t deserve any of this, but you always do good to me 💖

Penelope416 it was a miracle basically. He told me that where he lives if you speak to a girl, that means you’re in love with her. So one day we just met online and we spoke. I didn’t really think much of it, I talk to many brothers and sisters in Christ online, but there was instantly a connection when we started speaking. God is speaking to us both, but I believe God spoke to him first about me 😂 I’ve never been in a godly relationship before. I just desired one. He’s been a follower of Christ all of his life, so he’s definitely the spiritual leader here.
@@brianawebster6570 Just be careful. I understand that some people can fall in love fast but continue to seek God first and allow him to reveal his sovereign will for you. I have learned about how some people will "love bomb" others to reel them in. And just because you have a connection with someone, it does not neccesarily mean that it is God's will for you to be married. Maybe, maybe not, but just give it time to let things bloom so God can give you more insight about a person and all things will be revealed. God bless you sister.

I was very cautious in the beginning, but by prayer, everything has been unfolding. I was always the type to strive to be a better person for myself as well as others around me. My recent relationship ended and I was judged pretty harshly by a "Christian" woman. This season of singleness has brought me so much closer in relationship with God and has taught me sooo much about myself & others without even attempting to be in a relationship with anyone else. I continually trust Him to bless me with my next relationship while I'm still doing my healing. But the perfectionist in me thinks there's so much that needs to be healed and I'm not worthy yet. It's like I'm trying to paint of picture of myself in comparison the way my ex judged me instead of knowing that God's image of me is already perfect in His eyes. I was idolizing her and her words instead of trusting in God's word and promises.
I admit I didn't want to watch this video thinking "oh here's another one that probably won't resonate within me" but it actually did with #2 and it was very important for me to hear. So thank you 💖

One of my major problems is fear. I believe God showed me my future husband almost 4 years ago. I tried to chase him and it didn't work. I have grown a lot since then, but I am not ready for him yet. I have observed and obsessed over him. I realized he isn't ready for me either. I have faith that he is worth the wait, but the waiting is hard. I see him all the time at church and know he is also attracted to me. I have a lot of growing still to do, but I feel stuck right now. Pray for me 🙏!

When you pray for a specific person for a partner, be open minded and acknowledge that the person you want may not be the one God wants with you. Be flexible and move with God, because if you fix your mind on a person whom God doesn't want with you, God will definitely not give you the person and you may end up really broken. Instead of singling out somebody for God, let Him single him/her out for you, this saves a great deal from heartbrakes. Let go of the desire for a partner and instead fill your heart soul and spirit with God's word. He won't let you down.
I wouldnt push it, I know you arent from reading this but God always has a plan. Your like is always in God's mind, just be aware what you may "want" in someone is not what you "need" in someone.

For me, Celibacy first and foremost. Working on my purpose as well. These other things he spoke to me about cuz he's working on me..
1.Eating healthy, took up boxing and bicycling to get in excellent shape,
2.Giving God the last 30 minutes of my night every night ( most of the time) so I can clearly hear his voice for his divine direction,
3. Fasted, 21,days
4. Consciously smiling more even when I don't feel like it. It changes my whole day.
5.Trying to keep my home beautified.
6. Bought all new under garments as my comfortable but rageddy's wouldn't be attractive in any way to a spouse.
7.Learning to speak less and listen more in ALL circumstances
8.Asking God to show me what he wants me to face and deal with now before even THINKING about getting married.

I feel like mine is in a season of having given up on relationships all together...I feel he is just serving others in the church and happy to be in that season. I got married at the age of 22. I don’t regret the marriage as it taught me a lot about myself but I wish I waited.. I wish I placed God first and glorified Him. I wish I listened to my family. There’s a lot of things I wish I did.. but we live and we learn. As of recently, I’m putting God first. Cleansing my soul, body and mind. I know I’m not ready. But God will lead me into a beautiful relationship with a God Fearing man. But right now, focusing on myself and becoming the best version of ME. 💓
I just want my future husband and partner to love god as much as I do. Be a good hearted person serving the lord and others with kindness and one god chooses for me in his divine timing. Amen

And once again, I am going to plug that book I mentioned in a previous comment..."His Needs, Her Needs" by Willard Harley. I used to give this book (along with the 5 Love Languages by Chapman) as wedding gifts to every bride and groom getting married. But even if you are not getting married yet, it is SO helpful to understand the differences (mental and emotional) between men and women...especially when dating. Plus it helps you to understand what mistakes YOU made in past relationships...so don't keep making the same ones, over and over again! We can only change ourselves, not others and if we have a wrong perspective, (always a "victim"), then we never learn how to be better at relating to the opposite sex.😅And this is really important for those of us who want to glorify GOD in his sacred covenant of marriage.😍

I really like hearing this one mark. I go back and forth with this topic a lot and even though I'm content with being single, I know when God put something in your heart as a desire for a relationship / marriage one day it's hard to ignore that. God knows the heart anyway. I know I just have to get out there and put in the work, but also me maintaining the fine line to make sure I'm pursuing something biblical.

The timing, man! God did lead me to my very first church. And now, after I've given my life to Christ, He almost immediately gave me new purpose - and showed me my spiritual gifts. I want to live, serve and love Christ, by building my life around this church, by serving my brothers and sisters and by loving them. And now this - God literally highlited this one girl in my church, as a way to help me with previous, painful relationship situation. I just had first conversation with her and I really do like her. She's modest, kind, funny, outgoing and smart. Oh, and also very pretty - her dark eyes are almost terrifying, to be honest! I'm grateful - my life is just getting started. I want it all - lows and highs, I want to experience it, something I've never had before. I want to live! Live!

Lately things have been improving for me. I think God has blessed and helped me in different ways around the same time, enough that it doesn't seem to be coincidence. Certain opportunities are opening up around the same time, I am learning how to grow and understand how a man should think and act more. I feel stronger in resisting what has brought me down for long enough.
Only problem is, that woman I like that I want to date, she may still only see me like a brother. Hopefully that changes, though certain relationship coaches that aren't Christian say to just move on. I've been trying to be different around her and hope she is impressed. I am just waiting for a good opportunity to ask her out, but am afraid of seeming pushy, especially since she seems to prefer communicating in person more.

I want so badly to have a best friend to marry. I had one. When I became a Christian we fell apart after 10 years. Very hard. But he was everything that I don't want in a man. We just grew up together and were so comfortable. I want the best God has for me and I'll wait however long it takes. Please pray that we all have patience through this time of singleness and let us not become so obsessed with finding someone that we lose God along the way.

When you like someone, what’s some advice on how to not overvalue their opinion? Like let’s say they openly admit their attraction for someone else right in front of you. How does that not take a hit to your ego, or make you feel insecure or intimidated by that? What helps you with that specifically?
It's okay to be sad about that, that's normal. but when your identity is in Christ and not in what others think of you, you don't need to be devastated by such news :)
This is very natural. When they admit their attraction for someone else than you, it can be disappointing (I have certainly certainly been there.) I would encourage you to seek God's will concerning that in your life. If that person is God's will, it will happen organically and on God's timing. If not, no worries. Be encouraged because God's best for you is there and on it's way.

Have you ever fell off a motorcycle? It can hurt like hell, even with full protective gear.
And you have to get up, pick up your motorcycle and continue like nothing happened. But you can't do that right away. You need to take a break, because you will feel dizzy, numb and in a state of shock. You body will probably ache as well. Once that passes, and you feel 100% like your old self again, THEN you can get back on your bike and continue the ride.
That is exactly what it's like to start dating again after a painful experiences you had in the past.

I don’t even know how to date lol I’ve always just liked someone I was friends with, they liked me too & we got into a relationship. The idea of dating multiple people or meeting random people to date is soo weird & foreign to me. I keep feeling like God wants me to date but idk where to start & I kinda feel like I don’t even have the time right now. But pretty much all of these are true for me.
What if there was never an opportunity to date somebody and still no opportunity? Never have any prospects, this has always been a problem.

Turning 21 next month. I truly can say my desire for marriage is h u g e.
But in the midst of a virus, a global change, possible return of Christ sooner than expected, and now with a college degree being delayed longer than expected, I wonder if number one I'll ever enjoy the joys of a marriage (I do yearn for it, and I know it may never happen, but brother can dream,) and second if there is even a point in my existence and desires considering the times.
For all I know, this world could be over soon, so now I'm in a conflict as to whether my dreams have merit/purpose or if I should just align to only Godly dreams disregarding what I really want.
Yes, it is imperative to be Godly-Oriented first and above all things (I actively struggle in this department,) but I also yearn for dreams and ideas I wish I could see come to fruition by God's Grace and Powerful Timing.

It can be confusing, but it's wise to keep it simple too. Glorify God no matter what happens and you will be good to go because that is always our purpose

I only want God's will for my life. Recently I was deceived by a man whom I met online - he had heavenly encounters, he functioned in words of knowledge, he knew the word, he was very attractive, he loved Jesus and knew "the language" but then many red flags appeared after 3-4 months.... the spirit of pride and the Leviathan spirit questioned my identity and who I was as a daughter. I would share prophetic words direct from scripture and he would tell me I wasn't hearing from God. That was all a lie in Jesus name. It was a deeply traumatic season for me. It was difficult to lay him down - but it was evident there was no fruit..... therefore I was obedient to my Father in heaven. Almost 2 months on now....... I know my husband is out there somewhere... I pray for him every day....and I know my God is raising him up to be the mighty anointed man of God that he is called, destined and purposed to be. I know I'm the perfect help that he needs to fulfil his purpose and vice versa. I believe we will take back kingdom culture on the business mountain, creating wealth for nations and the poor. I believe he will live local to me (not found on the internet) and will already be positioned on the economics mountain doing great and mighty exploits. I'm not into dating - in fact I haven't dated anyone in person for 6 years (when I gave my heart to Jesus) because I'm a real woman of God. What this means to me is, I'm a worshipper, I'm a prophetic intercessor, I'm obedient, I don't sleep around, I don't "chat" to men.... I'm 100% legit His daughter and I will continue to be for all eternity. I trust in Him and all that He has for me. I love you Jesus.
