Perfect Monday night viewing from yet another rainy day in Blighty! Hope you’re doing well Sheriff CBK! Loved the story of your pulley & your Grandpa…..and good to see you mate! Love to you & Viv!
Gday Marcus. Viv and I are in the middle of Covid. Not hippy bru. ( that’s a New Zealand accent). The weekend was a beautiful 22-23degrees and we were both sick. Naturally I didn’t get out to film. Glad you liked the show. Missed you on Friday. The morning coffee just had something missing. Hope you and yours are well. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Thanks for sharing another enjoyable adventure Professor CBK. You got some great finds out of an old spot. Keep up the great work and see you on the next one. Cheers mate 👌👌👌👍👍👍👍🤜🤛
Another fine adventure indeed. Excellent advice on the sketchy old digging. In addition to the advice, you found a vice of the good kind. It appears to be from the golden years of craftsmanship. It's hard to think of a tool more used in my shop. Thanks for the video!
Gday Greg. Glad you enjoyed the show. Shame the vice was busted. Back in the day there were some great tools made. Yes you would be lost without a good vice. Take care mate 😁👍
Some nice bits came up on one of your old spots thanks to the Mate coil on the Manticore Andrew. Penny and button were cool plus now you've been elevated to sheriff status. Can see you had a great day because you had a "Joh Bjelke Petersen"- "Don't you worry about that" moment at the end. All the best mate and catch you on the next one.
The Joh moment 🤣🤣. Showing my age. Very happy to have found what I did. Very happy with the badge. Not found one before. Was a good time out. Thanks for coming along Gary. Take care mate 😁👍
Love the vid. You are so knowledgeable on EVERY find! Love the childhood memories ❤ The vice was cool 😎 Wish you were wearing the sheriff badge for your conclusion 😂 Take care mate 😊👍👍
Gday Camille. Not every find. Got some stumpers coming along soon. The vice was cool. Shame it was broken. That would have been funny with the badge. You take care too 😁👍
Hi Andrew, great hunt with the manticore mate, I remember doing a Demolition job years ago at an old Button factory in flinders lane in the city, There was buttons hiding in every crevice ranging from the 1800 hundreds, almost brand new, everything got thrown away in the skip, I didn’t know anything about buttons back then, if only lol 😂
Hey Andrew, you’ve got a new mic! we can even here you breathing now 😁 I’d have to say that vice was my favourite, that was a brilliant find! I’ve seen them repaired before it’s not impossible 😅 the button was a nice one too 👍🏼
Had the mic for a little while. Mostly use it when it is windy. Bit of a muck around. Shame the vice was broken. I don’t have any access to machinery that I can use to fix it so I left it behind. I have about 10 vices of different sizes and ilks. Thanks for watching William. Take care mate 😁👍
Well the vise is a shame, if the base was found it can be fixed. My dad brazed one back together and used it for years, broke it again and I brazed it back together for him. Some cast iron can be welded with the right rod and the correct procedures. I am a welder and fixed quite a bit of stuff for him and his friends before he passed. He would tell them he did it, according to Mom. I told her I didn't care. Loved the button and thank you for the video.
Gday Marta. Was a shame it was broken. Good vice otherwise. I did used to like brazing back in the day when I could get away with doing it. Glad you enjoyed the show. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Great video Sheriff Marshall CBK.. Always good to dig/find stuff that reminds you of your childhood! Speaking of childhood! I got the Uncle Arthur vibe slightly in your wrap up 😳 😂
Gday Lee. Very happy with the badge. Some childhood memories can be great. It wouldn’t be the first time I did an Uncle Arthur impression. Anyway Bye bye little Lee. Bye bye. Bye bye😁👍
Good to see you do some in-depth maintenance on the spade, A crusty old pulley, found by you as a boy and repaired for you by your grandfather, Which by the way is a great memory. My first thought was, Was this the beginning of the Coffee Bush Kid! The fitter and Turner! Or both!.. Bottle caps, the chameleon of the coin realm, don't you just love them, Oh! the emotions they bring out in me. You know, I once threatened to give Tom Piper a black eye if ever I met him, Him and his jaunty little robin hood cap and smiling face. It's almost like he's saying, Fooled you! Nya Nya Nyaa Nya Nyaa Nyaa! And don't get me started on the skipping girl or that red blxxdy parrot! Well look at that! They even make me grumpy when I'm talking about them! I reckon I still would have grabbed that vice, I'd have found some way to mount it on my bench, at least it would be better than the one I haven't got! Anyway, that's enough out of me, Cheers Andrew and Viv, all the best!
Gday Wayne. The pulley was a great little find. Did bring back some happy childhood memories. Bottle tops. Buggers do give a great signal. Unfortunately in the realms of silver. It was a shame the vice was broken. I currently have no means of fixing it so left it behind but under protection. Hope you are well. Take care mate 😁👍
Hey Marshall. Tell the sheriff to button-up all his marbles. But I would like to offer a penny for your thoughts while in a vice. Keep on keeping on. Regards from South Africa.
Thanks for the video very interesting .The lead bullet could be from a Martin Henry rifle which was used in the Zulu wars in Africa and was very deadly
What a beauty of a coin I found one on my mates farm Home was built in 1909 the coin was 1909 lol Loves those coins A vice and your the sheriff of the bush lol That may have been from the kids gear of the show gun smoke ?? I think we got them as to play with in my day the 50s Great day out Andrew Cheers 🍻 CrouchOz
Gday Crouch. Nothing wrong with an Eddie penny. Very happy with the badge. Never found one before. Hope you’ve got onto some nice yellow. Take care mate 😁👍
I suspect that projectile is a .45 caliber bullet from a cartridge for the Martini-Henry rifle. Think Zulu wars & you've got the weapon of choice used by the British.
Gday Bruce. ruclips.net/video/w-EYLU4hebE/видео.htmlsi=DeEhM-dupm-lc6-X That is the link to the video that has a link to Sids video that shows you how to put the settings in and why. I love them. Good luck 😁👍
Find something you're not sure about?...Just holler for a Marshall...100,000 more of those lead pellets and you can buy yourself a coffee...Another nice day out while the weather is still good all the same...
Holler for a Marshall indeed. It would be interesting to pay for a coffee in lead shot. Imagine their face and how heavy it would be 🤣🤣. Yes the weather is not too bad at the moment which is good. Take care mate 😁👍
