A little tip for the tow truck service. Set ur spawn at the salvage yard and launch tow truck service and if you don’t like the location of the car you’re gonna be towing just start another invite only lobby until you get a better location. This will save a lot of time.
Also works with delivering cars from your auto shop or motorcycles from your clubhouse, only difference is that you can just blow up the vehicle/bike and try again.
tow truck missions are honestly pretty good because of how simple and quick the missions are. The fact I dont need to deal with AI or a slow truck or something is really nice as in 6 minutes I can be don eand get over 100K on my next login.
You sometime get a text message when picking up the car, about an angry owner. But they never seem to spawn. Probably another oopsie by the developers.
@@Ramondorez Correction: just have to wait a bit, no need to get out of the truck they spawn if you get out of the truck. In one location (some trailer park) the dude's dog started attacking me too. But if you stay in the tow truck they don't spawn. I enjoy beating them up so I make sure to spawn them ( I leave the dog alone though)
If you didn't get a wanted level all the time it would be better. As it stands this is worse than Auto Shop and MC deliveries, and Bunker/Warehouse excess parts missions.

This business is obviously not the best money maker, but I find doing this, autoshop, and leaving my bunker and casino running passively to be way more fun than grinding cayo all day. Plus not all of us play this game non stop. Also it’s said we should be able to keep the cars soon. Which would make this business the “most profitable” if they actually let you keep the good cars.
@@sategllib2191 it makes money as long as you go there every hour or 2 and do the security mission. 50k a day plus whatever business crates you have going in the basement part of the nightclub. The bunker you just buy the supplies as long as you have the upgrades

Actually the business is pretty lucrative. I tow a vehicle every 5 ingame days which is honestly like 10 minutes out of a 4 hour session and I get 24k for the first 2 days after 21.6k for the next 2 and 19.2 for the 5th day when I start to tow a new vehicle. If you add those up you get 110.4k for that one vehicle tow, which is pretty insane. You just cant spam it like other businesses
I incorporate this into my daily passive grind with payphone hits, business contracts, VIPs, auto shop repairs, and sells and I’ve ended making somewhere around an extra 250k a day. It’s definitely an active players business but with some methods, you can make even more. The main thing I think this does (for me) is complete the variety of things to do in a public lobby while making money. I can confidently say I make at least 100k every 15 minutes of actively playing the game now.
what VIP missions do you do headhunter and sightseer? i usually do payphone hit first, refill nightclub popularity, boost acid lab production, auto shop union depository contract, security contracts, auto shop cars, hangar supplies, sell acid lab, and sell nightclub once in a while
For tows, I'd think the most efficient approach would be to do one tow every 5 in-game days (assuming you get staff and safe upgrade). This is enough to maintain popularity in the highest ranges, and you don't lose much passive safe income from waiting that long between tows anyway. You'd get around $110K+ from the safe plus whatever that one tow gets you, so around $140-150K total. Not bad for doing just one little tow mission every once in a while. If not getting safe but getting staff upgrade, a safe empty and tow every 4 days should keep you under the $100K stock safe limit.
I've noticed the wall safe in the salvage yard fills up a lot quicker than on other businesses . Every 50 minutes or couple hours I'm always grabbing 140 180 nearly 200k every time .. but you need to tow cars for salvage . Which is the only thing left to do in the 7 days cool down . 3 robberies and one week until we can start making money back .. Both are fun , robbery and salvage , but i can see it why rockstar only gives us 3 heists a week .. this way we always a little excited to get the weekly robberies and it will take longer to become boring ..
I really enjoyed this. Just picking up cars while chilling, getting a new car inspired property with VCR TV and Windows 98 PC.. R* are excelent world builders. I can just sit for hours in my arcade, autoshop and chop shop while doing other things in real life. I would give this an 8/10 stars.
Hopefully they release more/different carjacking missions like they did with Tuners, where they gave us a handful to start then new ones week by week, otherwise this is gonna be an update of all time (still better than Mercenaries lol)
Well i started playing gta 5 again after 8 years & out of business i liked acid lab, auto shop & salvage yard (since I'm a car guy)also i don't play much everyday but whenever i play i enjoy these 3 a lot, they simple,ez Fulfill enjoyment.
I do less business sell missions and heists and do more running around and collecting from all my properties. I will first spawn in my bunker and deliver the weapon parts for 50k. I’ll head to my office to deliver mixed goods for another 50k. I’ll start up a payphone hit for another 85k. I’ll head to all my businesses (nightclub, agency, arcade and now salvage yard) and collect that passive income. Maybe do a security contract and help throw someone out of my nightclub to keep the popularity up. Do client car missions for the auto shop. I’ll mix in VIP work, client jobs, tow truck service and security contracts as I’m waiting for the payphone hit, bunker and mixed goods to cool down. It all adds up within a couple hours.
That’s literally my exact daily or “hourly” routine lmfao. This new salvage yard is perfect for my brother as he has issues and can’t really do stuff like dr Dre, or delivering all the stuff for mc but this, the customer bike shop for mc and auto shop delivery the amu nation truck are perfect for him.

I don’t even bother with some of what you do, just the NC passive, pay phone hits, Acid deliveries. I’ll do sells on whatever fills up due to doing the stash house, and only do the stash house when the acid lad is fully empty of supplies in case that gets chosen. I don’t even travel. I play in solo friend lobby and just change spawn location and hop to new lobby over and over.
The main problem is people have forgot how to have fun and play this game, when a bar is set so high as heist payouts people dont really like nothing else
Everyone hating on this, saying it sucks.... sorry but i bought it the day before reset, got all 3 cars done, logged on next day, got all 3 cars again, and ran tows every couple hours for 5 minute jobs each time, while doing my other passive top ups in between. 30 hours of gameplay, net profit (after subtracting buying the yard) was in the neighborhood of 25-28mil. If you think this is crap, you're doing it wrong.
That's straight up not possible lmao. Off of the 6 cars you would have made no more then 2.5 million. Even with tow truck missions the most they pay per hour is close to 100k. Not a bad buisness by any means especially now that you can claim vechicles but you aren't making 25 million in 30 hours playtime.

The Strawberry location is literally a block away from my Auto Shop, I had this same thing happen with my Import/Export warehouse in Davis and the Arcade LITERALLY NEXT TO IT

It will be. The logic behind the Doc Forgery is part of the fee requires forging documents to prove you own the car to Mors Mutual. So using your own cuts out that part of the fee.
For me it was 100% Murrieta Heights location- my character owns that section of town - auto shop - crates - import export garage - motorcycle gang - arcade.. just makes it super easy to have it all just blocks away from each other
I use my tow truck, I get 2 cars ever hr, & it works when the game is off. So every time I log back in I usually get 70-80k from the cars. I have only played GTA about 2 hrs a day since wed & I have earned an easy 600k from my tow truck, & I have 216k waiting in my safe. So I will have the tow truck paid off in a few more hours. So I have made over 800k in about 4 days, add the 995k I made from the robberies & I thin its all been worth it so far & fun new content.
I genuinely wouldn’t mind the one week cooldown if it actually paid well. The only way you can justify the one week cooldown is if it’s giving millions per car or something. Imo they should either remove the one week cooldown, or buff the pay to like 1-1.5million each (depending on the car)
This is basically a more time-consuming and less moneymaking efficient of LS Tuners Contracts. Also you said the robberies reset every Thursday BUT the DLC came out TWO DAYS AGO, so shouldn't they be reset every TUESDAY?!
It's a pretty underwhelming business for sure. If the 3 robbery per week limit wasn't there and you could grind it like Auto Shop it would be much better. The tow missions should pay more since they are twice as much work as Auto Shop and MC delivery missions.
One thing you probably missed. I don’t know when you’re supposed to be able to buy those mini heist vehicles for a discounted price but you will be able to some time soon. also I’m waited for 2x money already 😂
the one thing I really hate of this DLC is the weekly wait for the robberies... so if you fail one of the bonus challenges you must restart before completing the robbery or wait to next week because those bonus challenges are part of tier 4 career
It's not a bad update, at least it feels like it offers things that players have wanted ie. stealing cars (duh it's GTA), tow trucking like in single player and drift races. Adding the animals is a nice bonus but I wish we had new stuff on the radio out now :( That's what I always look forward to the most, Rockstar has great taste in music.
5.5 mil to full upgrade to make maybe 1 mil doing the new content. Yay Gta! Oh yeah, ops i forgot here are 5 really expensive kinda bland performing super and warstock cars, and a battle gun or something. Quick spend 15mil for a NEW C grade Dlc season.
Idk why everyone is hateing the new update. Of course its weekly, but i really like the new missions and also the tow truck missions, just something else to cayo perico and the other stuff.
Does salvaging a robbery car count towards the Tier 2 challanges? If so, then I could just sacrifice one that earns over $250k & get that tier done without purchasing the upgrades. Obviously I have no intention on completing Tier 4.
"grand theft auto" the crime game about crime where you can be a tow truck driver and a taxi cab driver. Honestly who in their right mind looks at grand theft auto (crime game) and says, you know what would make this better? Make our players work a 9 to 5.
I just realised I could do a $50k Bunker scrap sell mission, a $50k Motorbike sell mission AND a CEO Office Spare Crates Sell mission $50k too after getting 2 towed cars. ALSO BTW, if you own and maxed out the Nightclub, Agency, Arcade AND Chop Shop safes, you can get a TOTAL of $99k per 48h passively, of course like I said, keep popularity up for Nightclub and the Chop Shop.
The "Decay" on passive income is a real bummer, could've been another business you dip your toes into whenever the safe's about to fill... but oh well!
One thing I wanted to point out when I did my first tow mission. I towed the rusty rebel it gave me $51,000. Idk if I overlooked something that added money but the message said the rebel was salvaged for 51k
What happens if you don't complete a robbery before Thursday? Does the game reset them all and cause you to lose any progress, or does it maintain the one you were on before the reset?
You'll see that there are 4 spaces for stolen cars inside the Salvage Yard. If you didn't complete a robbery before the weekly rotation the game will still let you finish & steal that car before you can start those 3 new robberies for the week.
Late tip but if you want to just claim the cars because you get less money for it than what it costs but you can’t claim the first vehicle (I wish I knew this) so do the Albany first sell it and claim the other two nice cars I thought I’d be able to claim right away so I did the neon that cost 1.5m but you get 400k for selling it so if you wanted it it’d be better to claim it then but since you can’t claim the first car even though your first instinct would be do the ones you want to claim first but no they make u sell the first one so I only got to keep the cypher and had to sell the neon🤦♂️ they should tell you this before instead of telling you you can claim the cars even though you can’t claim the first one which would be the one you wanted most and that’s why your doing it first🤦♂️
Not sure why the "worth" of a DLC is based on how much, or how little, money you can make with it. With all the different ways to make money in the game, isn't it better to judge based on the content and whether or not it's fun?
Does anyone know if you would lose the 3 vehicles in the chop shop robberies when the new ones come in tomorrow??? I can not find any video or anyone talking about this
Anyone knows how much does an associate get for helping a CEO selling a car after the robbery ? The pop up message on screen after delivering the cars or just 1 car is the exactly the same for CEO or any associate . It shows the damage each player done to the car just like vehicle cargo, and final payment at the bottom depending how many you sold . That got me confused because is it just the CEO that gets let's say 900 for 3 cars or the associates get the same as well ?
i bought a tow truck first then got the upgrade staff later on just now and my trucks disappeared and the game is telling me to buy one smh 650k gone for nothing hate this game sometimes
Why ain't we own towing we can play them on freedom like car meet or watever we wan.. but it's sad we can't get own personal it. Only it does in jobs. Hopefully we get own it personal vehicle before salvage update end
Actually it makes having a Doc Forgery better. As of next week the cars you steal you can make personal for a fee. If you own a Doc Forgery the fee will cost less.

This is basically a more time-consuming and less moneymaking efficient of LS Tuners Contracts. Also you said the robberies reset every Thursday BUT the DLC came out TWO DAYS AGO, so shouldn't they be reset every TUESDAY?!

It's a pretty underwhelming business for sure. If the 3 robbery per week limit wasn't there and you could grind it like Auto Shop it would be much better. The tow missions should pay more since they are twice as much work as Auto Shop and MC delivery missions.

One thing you probably missed. I don’t know when you’re supposed to be able to buy those mini heist vehicles for a discounted price but you will be able to some time soon. also I’m waited for 2x money already 😂
the one thing I really hate of this DLC is the weekly wait for the robberies... so if you fail one of the bonus challenges you must restart before completing the robbery or wait to next week because those bonus challenges are part of tier 4 career

It's not a bad update, at least it feels like it offers things that players have wanted ie. stealing cars (duh it's GTA), tow trucking like in single player and drift races. Adding the animals is a nice bonus but I wish we had new stuff on the radio out now :( That's what I always look forward to the most, Rockstar has great taste in music.

There’s a glitch right now you are able to steal the robbery cars over and over if you close your app as you see the back of the car go in the garage
5.5 mil to full upgrade to make maybe 1 mil doing the new content. Yay Gta! Oh yeah, ops i forgot here are 5 really expensive kinda bland performing super and warstock cars, and a battle gun or something. Quick spend 15mil for a NEW C grade Dlc season.
Idk why everyone is hateing the new update. Of course its weekly, but i really like the new missions and also the tow truck missions, just something else to cayo perico and the other stuff.
How long are the cooldown between the missions for the cars dose anyone know? 🤷🏻♂️

Does salvaging a robbery car count towards the Tier 2 challanges? If so, then I could just sacrifice one that earns over $250k & get that tier done without purchasing the upgrades. Obviously I have no intention on completing Tier 4.
"grand theft auto" the crime game about crime where you can be a tow truck driver and a taxi cab driver. Honestly who in their right mind looks at grand theft auto (crime game) and says, you know what would make this better? Make our players work a 9 to 5.

I just realised I could do a $50k Bunker scrap sell mission, a $50k Motorbike sell mission AND a CEO Office Spare Crates Sell mission $50k too after getting 2 towed cars. ALSO BTW, if you own and maxed out the Nightclub, Agency, Arcade AND Chop Shop safes, you can get a TOTAL of $99k per 48h passively, of course like I said, keep popularity up for Nightclub and the Chop Shop.

One thing I wanted to point out when I did my first tow mission. I towed the rusty rebel it gave me $51,000. Idk if I overlooked something that added money but the message said the rebel was salvaged for 51k

i dont understand why they would even add the option to Salvage the car if it only has negatives in comparison to just Selling it
What happens if you don't complete a robbery before Thursday? Does the game reset them all and cause you to lose any progress, or does it maintain the one you were on before the reset?
You'll see that there are 4 spaces for stolen cars inside the Salvage Yard.
If you didn't complete a robbery before the weekly rotation the game will still let you finish & steal that car before you can start those 3 new robberies for the week.
Late tip but if you want to just claim the cars because you get less money for it than what it costs but you can’t claim the first vehicle (I wish I knew this) so do the Albany first sell it and claim the other two nice cars I thought I’d be able to claim right away so I did the neon that cost 1.5m but you get 400k for selling it so if you wanted it it’d be better to claim it then but since you can’t claim the first car even though your first instinct would be do the ones you want to claim first but no they make u sell the first one so I only got to keep the cypher and had to sell the neon🤦♂️ they should tell you this before instead of telling you you can claim the cars even though you can’t claim the first one which would be the one you wanted most and that’s why your doing it first🤦♂️
It’s a real shame, I get the impression that with a few simple changes this could be a whole lot better. But isn’t that every dlc nowadays.
They should give us a discount for the car for salvaging the parts make sense
Not sure why the "worth" of a DLC is based on how much, or how little, money you can make with it. With all the different ways to make money in the game, isn't it better to judge based on the content and whether or not it's fun?

The pop up message on screen after delivering the cars or just 1 car is the exactly the same for CEO or any associate . It shows the damage each player done to the car just like vehicle cargo, and final payment at the bottom depending how many you sold . That got me confused because is it just the CEO that gets let's say 900 for 3 cars or the associates get the same as well ?
i bought a tow truck first then got the upgrade staff later on just now and my trucks disappeared and the game is telling me to buy one smh 650k gone for nothing hate this game sometimes

Actually it makes having a Doc Forgery better. As of next week the cars you steal you can make personal for a fee.
If you own a Doc Forgery the fee will cost less.
