It’s really complicated. The National Office of Security Enforcement (NOoSE) is based on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The tactical NOoSE agents we fight in GTA V, IV and EFLC are part of the Tactical Response Unit (TRU). Each police department and sheriff’s office in the GTA universe can have their own NOoSE TRU instead of having a SWAT team, but I believe each department can still have their own SWAT team instead of the designated NOoSE unit, but we just haven’t seen that yet. You should check out a similar mod called PEV:DTAR/SALE (PEV: Dispatch, Tactics, Ambience Remastered/San Andreas Law Enforcement) It overhauls the police in a similar but different way. One of the things that is does differently is how the police search for you on foot. 8:34 This guy wouldn't have just sprinted up to you by himself, stood still, and then randomly spotted you. In PEV, he would've been with other team members in a formation, and they would've been doing a unique searching animation. Also if you're hiding in an interior, it really shows how they will search an area. They will go room to room searching for you. It's nothing crazy like Ready or Not or SWAT 4, but it's a huge improvement over how vanilla game cops handle searching for you in interiors. A cool mod idea could also be a wanted system like RDR2. Patrols looking for one of the 3 characters, greyed out stars, different counties search. Combine that with this mod and the whole game would come to life.
they honestly should just let players choose the level of intensity of police response in story mode. And integrate some or all of whats in this mod depending on what you choose. While I like realism, some players might find it annoying after a while, so giving them the option is better. I really just wish theyd add more vehicle variants, fixed their AI behaviour, and add the police computer from gta4. Those 3 alone would make the experience so much better.

well it's a bit more complex, NOOSE is DHS(Department of Homeland Security) , they were purposed as such in GTA V but in IV they are meant to be DHS, i.e a federal level counter terrorist agency. (in GTA V there are the typical NOOSE meant to fill in for LAPD SWAT but also FIB NOOSE agents in specific story missions that mirror FBI SWAT despite being normal NOOSE with FIB instead of police)NYPD(therefore LCPD) don't have a "SWAT" team. many states/cities have such teams designated as such but others have tactical units with different names
@ChickenKitten apart from the fact that noose, both in the game, especially GTA 4, and on the wiki confirms that noose is a federal agency (they even had a former director like the DHS in real life has and I don't think a leader of a swat team will having the title of director (directors are usually for government organizations not for tactical teams) and the fact that in a GTA 4 mission a guy whose name I don't know talks about the agency as if it were a government body not as a tactical team (he mentioned the full name of the agency) and also he mentioned that he is being investigated by an unknown noose unit which I can assume is a division of the PIA which is probably a parody of the Homeland Security Investigations (or its predecessor the Office of Investigations) of the ICE since PIA is ICE and CBP combined
@@federalinvestigationbureau5814 Ok and? Its fictional. NOOSE does everything in GTA that SWAT does irl, the last SWAT we had in GTA was in San Andreas. Get over it.
@@federalinvestigationbureau5814 yeah I know... I simply Said it took the place of a "SWAT" team in both games. In GTA V NOOSE tactical teams are referred as SWAT over the police scanner suggesting they take that role, GTA IV is a bit different but there was likely a reason for them to choose a DHS/ICE Parody to take on the role of a tactical unit (maybe because Niko is an immigrant? Funny enough the easiest way to escape the police is to just not be in a car as they get very stupid when you're on foot
If skilled driving is just not rewarded whats the point
in GTA IV, you could hide in cars just like V, just that it didn't grey out your icon on the map. The stars are grey which means they are searching, and sometimes you can see multiple Enforcers, LCPD, and even helicopters go by you as you sit in a car.
5:52 "BULLDOZER!"
"ITS A MOTHERF*CKING BULLDOZER!"
"DOZER!"
"OH SH*T!"
"You are against the wall and I AM the fucking wall"
OH SH*T BULLDOZERRRRRRR
im more instrested in the gun sounds it's really nice
Wow this is so so so cool! I wish you could adjust the difficulty but, soemtimes you need and easy get away and not just die all the time.
Those Merryweather Security cars remind me of the Umeni-Zulu cars in WD2
it was proportional, they are based on the cars from watch dogs that's why the similarity
This is how it should have been from the start but considering its 11 yrs old its a great mod they could have implemented this in too but im going to replay the game just for this i hope this also works with missions too
There was a time (around 2021) where the mod (RDE 3.1.1) was hard to use because of crashes. As a result, I made my own mod.
Thus, "Dispatch Reworked" was born!
1:31 I gotta say Merryweather security and their cars remind me of Umeni security from Watch dogs 2 since they're very similar
i love that, i hope GTA VI will have better police ai so the game will be more fun with chases and stuff.
Probably the closest we can get to GTA6 police behavior lol
bro i feel being watched, i literally tommorow said that this police is kinda boring, and now this showed up on my home page, i will surely acquire that mod
Rockstar hired this man for GTA 6
How long i have waited to see a mod that completely remakes the gta 5 police system to make police more deadly and just overall better at their job
This mod looks almost perfect. Just make it so the juggernauts take no more than 3 heavy sniper headshots and we’re cool😊
8:54 Holy shit the lights in the house turned on
oh yea!
0:45
IAA is unused.
The SWAT are NOOSE teams sometimes, so they are used.
The FIB is used, it's rare that it spawns in, because it mostly spawns when you enter a restricted area, so yes, they are rare but they are used nonetheless.
Hey Underrated. Regarding the PEV-DTAR feature: Did you use the actual mod itself or just RDE's config file? Awesome video by the way, RDE is kind of underrated in my opinion
The Rde config/addon. The standalone mod breaks rde a bit.
@@Underrated2424 Got it. Thanks
@@aciu638 Do you know where RDE's config file is?
@@niklasmarewski8110 Yes. In the optional addons
There should be a mod in this to hold people hostage
Nice work on the video and good showcase! 👍
love the content. keep it up
While watching this, i could feel my ingame wallet crying from how much money i'd be spending on morse mutual and ammo refills, oh geez lmao
Imagine being wanted for accidentaly hitting a cops’ car, end up shooting, and now you got the Navy collaborating with the USMC to take you down while the US army surpresses you with an Abrams.
4:11 is my favorite. It fits perfect with gta cop language
A cool mod idea could also be a wanted system like RDR2.
Patrols looking for one of the 3 characters, greyed out stars, different counties search.
Combine that with this mod and the whole game would come to life.
The swat juggernaut looks like the enforcer from watch dogs
based on bulldozers from the payday game and military bulldozers from call of duty
they honestly should just let players choose the level of intensity of police response in story mode.
Imagine what the gta6 mods will look like if they add support when it fully releases
Pls rockstar, put this in GTA VI. Make one of the BEST GTA of all time.
are you 6? they’re not putting this into gta 6. they can’t just take some mod from a game made 10 years ago into a new game.
@@U_niquey i not say grab the mod from a 10 year old game to put in a new game. Rockstar has a lot of money to make a script inspired by this mod from gta VI rockstar can grab the idea from this mod and remade in a GTA VI engine.
6:19 In my opinion military juggernaut is the best unit in RDE.
Mod is pretty cool. it would be cool if the tactics of cordoning off and storming the police were provided in the case when the player was holed up in some room (for example, a gas station store). This system would allow you to add more diverse units. For example, special forces with shields
I hope in gta6 we get cops like this. We need this badly for online aswell. I love the veriaty they’ll send after you. I always felt like they should send the military after you if you’re using smth militarized.
0:22 i thinked first it's UMENI Security, from Watch Dogs 2 (those Vehicle looks really similar) 😉
the RDE team was based on watch dogs cars to make merryweather vehicles, it was on purpose
Merryweather is cool their loadout is: smg mk2 heavy sniper mk2 combat MG mk2 pistol with fmj round if you're wearing juggernaut suit
Fib loadout is: carbine rife mk2 carbine rifle mk1 combat pistol heavy pistol asullat shotgun heavy shotgun smg mk1 smg mk2 heavy rifle
Its all fun and games until rockstar makes this an actual update ... We would be so screwed 💀
I think the background music in the gameplay would fit in gta 5 & 6 well done 7:31
The noose van is used occasionally in gta online when you have a five star wanted level
It would be nice if they allowed the community to add mods like this to console even if it was just story mode
I really wouldn’t be surprised if rockstar would buy out RDE and made them make GTA VI’s police system, something that a multi-billion dollar company should be able to do easily.
I really hope GTA 6 will have this kind of system
We need this rockstar
Noose is literally the SWAT
well it's a bit more complex, NOOSE is DHS(Department of Homeland Security) , they were purposed as such in GTA V but in IV they are meant to be DHS, i.e a federal level counter terrorist agency.
I don't know)
Definitely trying this mod to see what happens when running a red light or speeding but I have to wait to get my friends phone number so I can plan it to do it with his PC
imagine you steal a store just to find a submarine following you 😭🙏
The thing with RDE back then is that I couldn’t add varied npc traffic on top of RDE. Or after a while variety would slowly dwindle or even immediately
World of variety is very old too
The key is to have your traffic/pop variety at +200%, you will need to do that in your gamefile settings
Gta6 police really need to be like this
I am definitely trying this hot out when I get my friends phone number to use his PC
imagine this mod with V drive would be really cool
This looks like a great mod but I am very confused. You bring up this other mod at 4:17. Does that mean the Ai changes aren't included with RDE and I should install this other mod if I want those features? If so could you link the other mod in description. My confusion stems from the fact you say the two mods are compatible however on the page for RDE it states
"Jayden585 was kind enough to provide optional files that allow RDE to make use of various PEV features, such as more intricate search AI and fine-tuned combat behavior (You should still only install one mod or the other, not both)." So I am a bit confused are they compatible with each other or no? Which of the two should I install first?
In the mod pack itself for rde is a addon called "jayden585" ai changes. It is a compatible lite version of jaydens pev sale version.
@@Underrated2424i have installed rde with PEV compatibility but sadly i cannot see wanted circle like in gta iv? Is there a fix?
