As an immigrant parent, your video is so so helpful. I'm confused about the American early childhood program. For example, what is the difference between daycare and pre-K? When to take my child to pre-K? When to kindergarten?

Great questions! Typically daycare offers full time child care and is more for infant and toddlers but can go up to school aged and offers a safe environment with more time for free play. Pre-K is for children age 4-5 and has an early childhood education or academic focus to prepare the child for kindergarten. Kindergarten is for children who turn 5 by a certain date. Usually the child needs to be 5 by September 1st but the date will vary depending on the school district in which you live. Hope that helps!
