Is SIMPLE crossfade, like it is in Sony Vegs, banned?

@@DavidShimel I've been having the same question. I think this person is talking about the transition where the first clip seamlessly crosses over into the next one, like something you would see in a movie sequence where the person is dreaming. It differs in ways it can be used, but what this person was talking about is overlaying 2 clips to make a seamless transition between the two. It's a basic tool a lot of editors use. But I can't seem to find anything about it, or how to do it on Capcut, let alone any RUclips tutorials. I'm not fully sure if this makes sense, but hopefully it does. If you find out if Capcut can make this transition, could you do a video about it? I'd love to finally figure out how to do it. Or, if you find out that Capcut doesn't have that option, could you let us know? Thank you in advance!

@@madfedererlaufeyson7539 I have the same issue. Its like CapCut is "too trendy" to use a simple transition like a crossfade and instead has a bunch of social media transitions for retention. I guess thats where they're marketing to.
