- I was lucky enough to visit the Sinn HQ in Frankfurt and meet up with Volker Wiegmann and Ekaterina Rempel who are part of the marketing team at Sinn

Thank you for the video Barry!, a lot of great information. I was particularly interested in the delays and it seems like it comes down to high demand, slow suppliers and deficit in watchmakers.

Thank you for the great tour! Maybe a few questions for the next occasion :) :
1. Sinn 103 series: more flexibility would be great, to make possible on ordering: 103 St plexy with optionally a steel-framed, but still horizontal bezel, optionally screw-down pushers from the 103 St Sa or protected pushers from the 303, with all-black dial of the 303. 103 St Sa optionally without any hole (for the CuSO4 capsule or the screw), optionally 60-minutes count-up bezel inlay.
2. Sinn 140 Series: optional day-date version (like the LWO 5100 had), optionally brushed/polished case from the first limited edition but with all-black dial, optionally white--laquered-framed hour and minute hand (like e. g. the 358 has).
And of course for both kinds of bracelet design the double-pusher single-folding clasp with quick-micro-adjust, that today already Fortis has...

Great video Barry and it confirms my impression that Sinn is very much like a family run business who actually connect with their customers unlike the Swiss behemoths do
I can't say about other brands but the Sinn team really came across like a family I was super impressed

Great video! I’m sorry I missed the Q&A opportunity as I’d love to know whether they plan a blue U50 at all (U1-b style)! I notice now the wait times for many models including the U50 have dropped significantly! I’m in Limburg, NL at the moment so might pay the factory a visit next week. Screw the bank balance😉

Marvelous video Barry!! Very informative! Just wanted to make sure I understood you correctly, Sinn confirmed that the Chrono pushers (like in the 144).... can be used underwater?
Only models with the D3 system Michael so not the 144 unfortunately Sir
Would enjoy that tour myself. If I was collecting the watches from only one brand, it would be a Sinn.
They do cover all bases when it comes to there watches

There was so many things I wouldn’t know where to start , all I took home was a new white 20mm silicone strap and a fine link bracelet for my 104

@@ClickSpringReview You done an amazing job with what you had. As for my watch yh it definitely was the one you reviewed. Because there was no stickers on it. And there was one left. And also 1 556RS red tick model, and if you look now I took the last white & black combo. Sinn has become my favourite brand. I love everything about them. Iam going to get over the honey moon period and then Iam going straight for the U50 Tegimented. Keep up the Sinn content 🔥🔥

I hope they will do a clasp just like Titoni or Fortis does on their divers. In my opinion it is the best approach to micro adjustments.
I really like the Ux and the U2. Most likely i will get a Ux tegiment I love its rubustness, time accuracy and its low maintenance cost.
You can't go wrong with the UX or U2 , The Fortis clasp does look interesting 👍🏻

@@ClickSpringReview I wonder if they will update the 13.1 at some point. I know it's been updated form the 13th, but it's still quite an old model.
@@ams914 I have a feeling thats it now for the 13.1 can't see there being anymore updates at all look at the U2 thats never been touched and its 17 years old

Amazing video, thanks. I do wish Sinn would have stronger and longer lasting lume. A 104 or 556A with ceramic bloc x1 grade lume would be amazing
Cheers Chris I do think the lume on the 104 is really good I can read the time the hole night though, the 556 isn’t as good but still pretty ok. Stronger lume is always a good thing

1. They will be producing new 104 iterations , and/or
2. They will be producing a thinner 356?
I’m really considering to get one of them. Fell in love with Sinn after watching your 556i review tens of times and bought it 2 months ago.
Hi Norman they can't make a thinner 356 as the movement is already 8mm plus I can't think of any slim auto chrono under 6K Sir , I believe there well be different 104's coming 👍🏻 ps really happy you like the reviews ☺️

Any news on the new bracelet with micro adjustment push-pull ? They could just get a deep inspiration from other brands ?
I spoke to them last month and they still said its in the planing , I'm in talks with a another brand about a possible solution which I hope to find out more soon 👍🏻

All I got myself was a new fine link bracelet for my 104 and a 20mm white silicone strap for my 556 plus there regulated my 103 plus they gave me some freebies

Why has the price gone up so much!!! It's 2190 EUR in your video for a U50 with bracelet in 2022? now we are looking at 2475 EUR for the same watch just one year later? This is crazy.
Unfortunately with the costs of living have gone up everywhere my mortgage alone has gone up 20% from last year , PS The U1 back in 2009 was only 1,135 euros
@@ClickSpringReview understandable but still hard to swallow. At that price, one can look at Tudor or even pre-owned omega.
The Tudor BB is £3.7k making it 1.3k more expensive, almost the price of a new 104 , You can always go for a used Omega but you may have to price in the cost of a service in with that or re-polish , To be fair the Sinn has 500m of WR , Teg bezel plus a top grade movement and everybody has a BB the U50 is that bit different
I want to ask why they make Sinn 103 so thick? I really like 103 and they are really thick! I intend to use it as everyday or office watch.
That’s because it’s houses the 7750 chrono movement which is 8mm thick then add the crystal and the case back and allow for clearance Hugh and you get 15mm
@@ClickSpringReviewall in all ths 103 St Sa has 17 mm case or a tad above, with the display back. You can save a minimal thickness by switching to the steel case back, but still a thick piece of watch.
@@RobertTimarMD this is what I said Robert people sometimes forget about the hand stack and thickness of the crystal and display backs plus then the ability to withstand 200m of watch pressure
Its because of the domed saphire glass on the back
I wish they would make Model 243 Ti S in a man's size. This is a rectangular tank watch. Such a beautiful and classy design, but they only make a lady's size for some reason.

@@ClickSpringReview Thanks. It reminds me of the Jager-LeCoultre Reverso, or some of the Longines and Gruen watches of the 1940s. I love rectangular men's watches, they're very elegant.

Sinn, fix your clasps on the H-link bracelet. They are horrible. I will never buy a Sinn again until they fix/update the clasp.
We did speak about that in the video ps if you think Sinn’s are bad you should see the £3k Breitling Colt 41 clasp
