Loved the old t a skyway it was my go to dirt jumping frame in the mid 90s i had quite a few of them id set them up the same spec every time with oddesey t1000 rims with bullseye hubs a dk fatboy inverted stem s+m bars tec77 lever odi mushroom grips beartrap headset s+m prince albert or profile cranks tuffneck powerdisc dx pedals a padded gt seat elf seatpost or dx post and a pitbull rear brake gt seatclamp and gt 2"tyres i had a great time with the t a bikes 🤘🤘
Re-annodising will ruin the overall finish of that seat clamp and stem. I would personally source another pair and sell those, as they are sought after in that colour.
Our Re-annodiser knows what they are doing and have done stuff for us before without any issues, they always come out great, although we have seen some horrors in our time from others. You'll find out on a later episode ;)
@@alansbmx You will never reproduce that colour and tone with todays finishing. I have been building/restoring/collecting Bmx for years, and have never seen anything redone that comes close the original finish. But each to their own.
hi there! What was the serial number of that bike? If you have any other information, please let me know. I had one stolen and have been searching for decades. mine i believe was 00000000082
I have some unmarked yellow 5 spoke wheels with a Bendix 76 coaster brake in the rear. They have some writing in red marker on the inside of the wheel. They look just like Skyway Tuff wheels but they have no Skyway markings. Could these be the the 1977 Tuff Wheels that were used on the Schwinn Scrambler bikes?
Thankyou bro nice video I loveo thankyou

Tioga CompIII tires would be appropriate with Redline Flight single pinch 401 cranks .
The JMC Bars brought me here ...
8:01 Get some latex gloves on. Park Tool MG2L. If your using break cleaner or rust remover to protect your hands
