First of all, great video. This is what drew me to your channel in the first place. You always came across as a seasoned professional of the writing trade, even though you have yet to officially publish. It's not "faking it till you make it", but rather staying honest to the craft. Being a writer (a real writer with ideas always brewing) is a lifelong journey and not just a mini cash grab on Amazon (if you are so lucky). We live the writer's life. It's part of our very being, and that is cool, IMO. 😊 I took a peek at your Katara fan fic and read the first several paragraphs. So you got skillz, huh? 😅 I knew you did. Anyways, I will read through its entirety sometime this weekend. I love checking out other aspiring writer's stuff. I know you are familiar with some of my work, lol. Also, I'd love to hear more about your move to LA, and your Hollywood experiences. It sounds super interesting, especially the behind the scenes stuff. Write on! ✍️

Forgive me for this terribly late reply!!
Boy, I appreciate your confidence in my thoughts on the craft! The idea of using writing, especially novels, as a ‘cash-grab’ is insane to me - it’s by far the hardest, most time-consuming, creatively intensive project I’ve ever done. Get into day-trading or caricatures if you want to make a quick buck, lol.
AHH!! I can’t believe you read the fanfic!! I wish I wrote more of it, they’re so fun to revisit. There’s a fun Kylo x Rey one I wrote a few chapters for too that I can’t seem to find :’( I might make a video about it anyway, I remember my general plot outline, maybe that’s enough?

I just talked to a woman today who said she loves every stage of writing - plotting, drafting, editing - and would write all day if she could. I DO NOT feel that way at all. I love having *had* written something, not the act of writing. But when I’ve completed something I feel like an absolute god lol
