The main issues with this game will definitely be the things around it, not the gunplay, maps, or overall vibe. All of that looks great. The real problems will start with SBMM and when the season and battle pass come out. People will end up complaining more about those than the actual gameplay.

That's not where the similarities end. They aren't releasing new games each year, it's all the same game from I think 2019 was the first of this style. But they just change up the skins a bit and call it a new game.

Let’s be real. If you thought MW3 was a sweat-fest, BO6 takes the cake, and it’s going to have anime skins and other ridiculous cosmetics within a month or two after release. The low TTK is a bad thing, there is no skill in just jumping everywhere and beaming people with the meta zero recoil guns, and the SBMM only makes this worse. Not to mention the zombies mode is now just Warzone style gameplay plus zombies it’s not unique anymore. I don’t think we’ll get a game like BO1 or BO2 ever again and frankly this new style of COD since MW2019 just isn’t fun it’s sweaty, unbalanced, bland and derivative.

It would be more skill based if you didn’t die in 0.25 seconds and could turn a corner, get to cover, switch weapons or make some kind of play besides die simply because you were insta killed from one of two dozen lines of sight 3. Cosmetics have basically turned CoD into Fortnite and aesthetically every game since MW2019 basically looks and plays the same, does this look like a Treyarch game? No, it’s MW3 2023 with a slightly different UI and some generic maps

They got you w/ SBMM. They gave you some easy lobbies to get you hooked. Now put some real hours into it and you'll be hating it again, or buy some shit at the store after getting a few easy sbmm lobbies for them to hand you even more easy lobbies. MW 2019 was probably the last COD that felt decent in my opinion. It all just looks like wanna be fortnite, clean edgy slop. this game just felt like more of that game but with speed turned up, and the maps were tiny feeling. Guns sound like automatic staplers, and movement looks so un-natural and spastic. Guns feel good to shoot still, but yeah, it aint for me anymore.
MW2019 felt super good to play but it’s what started the downfall of modern cod. That game had some of the worst maps out of any cod, and massive issues with doors and footsteps. I would actually say it’s the most overrated cod of all time. Not a bad one but the issues with it are usually overlooked.
Very helpful in my decision to buy this game. I'm sadly stuck on PS4 still but it's nice to know the issues people were attributing to the PS4 version weren't at all a PS4 problem and just an issue with the beta itself
Only thing I want to return in order for me to buy the game is Combat Training. With prestige coming back, omnimovement and all the increased maps, its a necessity that combat training come back like it was in black ops 1 and 2. Without that, I feel its a missed opportunity
As a professional camper, the fact is that these maps have so many pathways pisses me off, which is why have adapted into even more petty camping spots to counteract this oh yeah, I still also like black ops as well

The ttk is on paper nearly identical to mw3, but the thing they thankfully fixed was how shooting arms or everything lower then the nipples would lead to your damage being tanked. Much needed change
Nah, I just refunded it. There's no way graphics wise we should be de-evolving. Hell MW2 looks better than this shit. And this feels like a reskin of Cold war with "omni movement" Which felt more like a gimmick when I played and used it. To each its own though.

My least favorite part of the beta is the spawn issue. Like on the train map you spawn near the carts and you take 3 steps forward and the whole enemy team spawns right behind you.
I don't know about that my brother I disagree in a lot of ways Treyarch is the best developing team. Black Ops is a staple in Call of Duty I've been playing cod since the first came out and I can honestly say the Black Ops series is way better than any other cod game especially Black Ops 2 and 3
I hatred the first few days playing bo6, but i ended up enjoying it after changing up my play style. It's still not close to a great COD game because the beta maps are pretty shitty.
I have played bo6 beta, gameplay is good (movement which is huge and auto lean for example) it's better than previous cods. Blacksmith is also better than previous cods.
The omni movement combined with the low TTK and the 3 lane map design are probably going to make this one of twitch shooter cods of all time personally i like it, but it's easy to see why some people are going to hate it immediately. I do hope the maps keep up the quality of these 3 initial ones especially Derelict and skyline.
Yea its alright game with the potential but only thing that will hold it back is the SBMM.. lobbies are gonna feel the same. When player base settles in and figures out the movement

Game is bad.. Overall rating: 6.5/10 1. Maps/Spawns - too small for 6v6, especially with the “flippy” tendencies of spawns. If you get 1-2 kills, you are likely already weak and/or need to reload. With the way maps and spawns work, you are almost guaranteed to get traded. There are no sections of the map to easily isolate gunfights and escape while giving you time to reload and heal. With spawns being all over the place, this makes the issue even worse as there are too many lanes to hold, you have no clue where the next enemy player will be coming from because they could be spawning in front of you, behind you, left/right, etc.. with 6 enemy players on the map, enemies will be flocking to you to trade you. The combination of poor map design (too small/open), bad spawns and having too many players makes the game RNG because it eliminates strategy and predictive gameplay. It makes it very difficult to go on streaks and “work the map”. They should implement a spawn delay of 3 seconds to help combat these issues. Last few notes on maps.. Player visibility is terrible especially on maps like Derelict. Lanes often feel awkward to hold with minimal cover/too much exposure to other lanes. 2. Movement - Movement feels clunky and gimmicky.. your character feels heavy, almost like theres input delay.. MW3 movement feels MUCH more fluid and “light” in comparison. They should increase player velocity and reduce player inertia. Omnimovement is okay but nothing ground breaking. Id prefer wall jumping, bunny hopping and/or air strafing. 3. Weapons - Weapon balancing is terrible with everyone using the same SMG in every game. On top of that, half of these weapons are reskins from Cold War. There arent any “exciting” or innovative weapons to use in the beta. 4. Graphics - This game is literally Cold War DLC. After going back to MW3, B06 looks like its already 5 years old. MW3 is twice as good graphically. 5. Lack of innovation- ive already said it a few times, but this game is literally a reskin of Cold War. Similar clunky movement, reskinned weapons, lack luster perks/killstreaks. This game just doesnt have any reason to buy it over previous titles. And before people say “you’re just bad at the game”, ive solo queued to Crimson every season in MW3. I know how to play COD and have been playing since COD 4. I was really hyped about this game. Treyarch, 4 years of development, omnimovement, theater mode, etc.. it seems to me that the developers got lazy and reskinned Cold War as a shortcut instead of making a new and exciting product.
The same people hating on this COD will go hop on VALORANT, overwatch, or league of legends. Cod is the one community no matter what will get hate, i personally loved the beta except that one map with the wheel mfs just camp all day but all in all it was fun.

idk man, it takes a few hours to enjoy the game but once the EOMM kicks in it becomes horrible, I think the game is super homogenized, everyone plays the same, nothing feels organic, the franchise is designed to retain players to spend money on the store that's why the whole matchmaking is rigged.

Im not a huge fan of call of duty, only played the original (the good) mw2 singleplayer and played a few hours of the other multiplayers over the years from other peoples consoles, and then I played mw2019 multiplayer which was pretty fun. I love shooters though and the devs seemed like they were actually passionate about what they were doing with this one which is rare. Doesnt seem like the usual copy paste slop
Hmmm good video but i had the exact oppisite opinion when it comes to ttk. Beta is great. But in MW3 it was like instant death no matter what gun id use. The ttk feels slower in my play and its better for it. I am just biased when it comes to Black ops since its my personal favorite and has the most soul still left in the campaign vs the shitty 2 hour snooze fest we got in mw3.

Guns sound like automatic staplers, and movement looks so un-natural and spastic. Guns feel good to shoot still, but yeah, it aint for me anymore.
MW2019 felt super good to play but it’s what started the downfall of modern cod. That game had some of the worst maps out of any cod, and massive issues with doors and footsteps. I would actually say it’s the most overrated cod of all time. Not a bad one but the issues with it are usually overlooked.
Uncommon Griffin L. Derelict is one of the WORST maps I've ever seen in CoD and like 90% of the people I've heard from said it was terrible too.

Very helpful in my decision to buy this game. I'm sadly stuck on PS4 still but it's nice to know the issues people were attributing to the PS4 version weren't at all a PS4 problem and just an issue with the beta itself
Only thing I want to return in order for me to buy the game is Combat Training. With prestige coming back, omnimovement and all the increased maps, its a necessity that combat training come back like it was in black ops 1 and 2. Without that, I feel its a missed opportunity

The ttk is on paper nearly identical to mw3, but the thing they thankfully fixed was how shooting arms or everything lower then the nipples would lead to your damage being tanked. Much needed change
Nah, I just refunded it. There's no way graphics wise we should be de-evolving. Hell MW2 looks better than this shit. And this feels like a reskin of Cold war with "omni movement" Which felt more like a gimmick when I played and used it. To each its own though.

Genuinely curious, what was the issues with Cold War's Multiplayer compared to BO6's?
My least favorite part of the beta is the spawn issue. Like on the train map you spawn near the carts and you take 3 steps forward and the whole enemy team spawns right behind you.

I don't know about that my brother I disagree in a lot of ways Treyarch is the best developing team. Black Ops is a staple in Call of Duty I've been playing cod since the first came out and I can honestly say the Black Ops series is way better than any other cod game especially Black Ops 2 and 3

The Treyarch we knew is gone now. 4 years, and over 3000 devs... Microsoft should have used that money on the studios that actually needed it.
I have played bo6 beta, gameplay is good (movement which is huge and auto lean for example) it's better than previous cods. Blacksmith is also better than previous cods.
Griffin Gaming I have a very important Question: Do they have 50 different gay flags to choose from? Or do they have normal flags.
The omni movement combined with the low TTK and the 3 lane map design are probably going to make this one of twitch shooter cods of all time personally i like it, but it's easy to see why some people are going to hate it immediately.
I do hope the maps keep up the quality of these 3 initial ones especially Derelict and skyline.

For me, the lobby screen only showed the female operator and no gun. once i made a custom loadout, i had a gun, but still female operator.

TTK and maps make or break COD multiplayer for real. I always thought the OG Black Ops had the perfect TTK and maps. It all felt perfectly tuned.

Game is bad.. Overall rating: 6.5/10
1. Maps/Spawns - too small for 6v6, especially with the “flippy” tendencies of spawns.
If you get 1-2 kills, you are likely already weak and/or need to reload. With the way maps and spawns work, you are almost guaranteed to get traded.
There are no sections of the map to easily isolate gunfights and escape while giving you time to reload and heal.
With spawns being all over the place, this makes the issue even worse as there are too many lanes to hold, you have no clue where the next enemy player will be coming from because they could be spawning in front of you, behind you, left/right, etc.. with 6 enemy players on the map, enemies will be flocking to you to trade you. The combination of poor map design (too small/open), bad spawns and having too many players makes the game RNG because it eliminates strategy and predictive gameplay. It makes it very difficult to go on streaks and “work the map”. They should implement a spawn delay of 3 seconds to help combat these issues.
Last few notes on maps.. Player visibility is terrible especially on maps like Derelict. Lanes often feel awkward to hold with minimal cover/too much exposure to other lanes.
2. Movement - Movement feels clunky and gimmicky.. your character feels heavy, almost like theres input delay.. MW3 movement feels MUCH more fluid and “light” in comparison. They should increase player velocity and reduce player inertia. Omnimovement is okay but nothing ground breaking. Id prefer wall jumping, bunny hopping and/or air strafing.
3. Weapons - Weapon balancing is terrible with everyone using the same SMG in every game. On top of that, half of these weapons are reskins from Cold War. There arent any “exciting” or innovative weapons to use in the beta.
4. Graphics - This game is literally Cold War DLC. After going back to MW3, B06 looks like its already 5 years old. MW3 is twice as good graphically.
5. Lack of innovation- ive already said it a few times, but this game is literally a reskin of Cold War. Similar clunky movement, reskinned weapons, lack luster perks/killstreaks.
This game just doesnt have any reason to buy it over previous titles. And before people say “you’re just bad at the game”, ive solo queued to Crimson every season in MW3. I know how to play COD and have been playing since COD 4.
I was really hyped about this game. Treyarch, 4 years of development, omnimovement, theater mode, etc.. it seems to me that the developers got lazy and reskinned Cold War as a shortcut instead of making a new and exciting product.

idk man, it takes a few hours to enjoy the game but once the EOMM kicks in it becomes horrible, I think the game is super homogenized, everyone plays the same, nothing feels organic, the franchise is designed to retain players to spend money on the store that's why the whole matchmaking is rigged.
COD players are brainless so long as the game says "Call Of Duty" they'll spend money on it much like Griffin Gaming

Im not a huge fan of call of duty, only played the original (the good) mw2 singleplayer and played a few hours of the other multiplayers over the years from other peoples consoles, and then I played mw2019 multiplayer which was pretty fun. I love shooters though and the devs seemed like they were actually passionate about what they were doing with this one which is rare. Doesnt seem like the usual copy paste slop

Hmmm good video but i had the exact oppisite opinion when it comes to ttk. Beta is great. But in MW3 it was like instant death no matter what gun id use. The ttk feels slower in my play and its better for it.
I am just biased when it comes to Black ops since its my personal favorite and has the most soul still left in the campaign vs the shitty 2 hour snooze fest we got in mw3.
