Chase You need to sing "Come Little Children" the longer version from "Supernatural" and "Hocus Pocus." As well as the Jessica Rabbit song from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" And the "Land Before Time" 1st movie, that Diana Ross sings.
There's a longer version of "Come Little Children" that's used in a My Little Pony video. Despite the video, the extended song has no reference to the show and is beautiful.

Great rendition of the song, and the video is really cool, too. I'm trying out figure out how you shot/edited it. My theory is that you filmed several angles, from a fixed point, then layered them together in a 3D program, to form a 360° sphere, that you could then set up a virtual camera, to look around the whole space. Is that how you did it? If not, I wouldn't mind seeing a BTS video to accompany this.
I imagine it's more likely he just hid the cuts in those fast pans. I know that's a technique a lot of film makers do when they want to make something appear as though it was done in one take. For the moments when there are two of him on screen, that's just a matter of stitching the two scenes together in the middle. Or, in the case of his hands on the keyboard, layering the two scenes on top of each other and adjusting the transparency of one or both scenes. Still, I agree with the need for a behind-the-scenes video.
Matt Yoh I thought that too, at first, but he never mentioned that anyone was helping him shoot the video, which would have made it possible for him to pan the camera, while he playing on screen. If this was entirely self-shot, then I think it supports my original theory.
***** You can do the kinds of pans he does in this video with Premiere and/or After Effects. Just film the scene on the tripod (that part I believe you are absolutely correct on), then in the video editor zoom in on the scene a little bit then you can pan on the zoom. I believe this is how it's done because the "shakiness" in the shots seems to be a bit too smooth to have been done by human hand.
***** Actually looking at it again, you might be right. The door frame doesn't line up with the wall it's on, and the head of the guitar from one shot is present in some of his vocal shots. Stuff like that would probably be easier to do with one big 360 panorama.
Ah, that makes sense. Motion blur hides the frame overlaps pretty well. I guess you wouldn't have needed 360°, since you weren't shooting the ceiling or the floor. Kinda saves a lot of time, doing the way you did it. Good job!

I've just been listening to several of your cover versions, and all of the pretty much blew me away!
Great rendition of the song, and the video is really cool, too. I'm trying out figure out how you shot/edited it. My theory is that you filmed several angles, from a fixed point, then layered them together in a 3D program, to form a 360° sphere, that you could then set up a virtual camera, to look around the whole space. Is that how you did it? If not, I wouldn't mind seeing a BTS video to accompany this.
I imagine it's more likely he just hid the cuts in those fast pans. I know that's a technique a lot of film makers do when they want to make something appear as though it was done in one take. For the moments when there are two of him on screen, that's just a matter of stitching the two scenes together in the middle. Or, in the case of his hands on the keyboard, layering the two scenes on top of each other and adjusting the transparency of one or both scenes.
Still, I agree with the need for a behind-the-scenes video.
Matt Yoh I thought that too, at first, but he never mentioned that anyone was helping him shoot the video, which would have made it possible for him to pan the camera, while he playing on screen. If this was entirely self-shot, then I think it supports my original theory.
***** You can do the kinds of pans he does in this video with Premiere and/or After Effects. Just film the scene on the tripod (that part I believe you are absolutely correct on), then in the video editor zoom in on the scene a little bit then you can pan on the zoom. I believe this is how it's done because the "shakiness" in the shots seems to be a bit too smooth to have been done by human hand.
***** Actually looking at it again, you might be right. The door frame doesn't line up with the wall it's on, and the head of the guitar from one shot is present in some of his vocal shots. Stuff like that would probably be easier to do with one big 360 panorama.
Ah, that makes sense. Motion blur hides the frame overlaps pretty well. I guess you wouldn't have needed 360°, since you weren't shooting the ceiling or the floor. Kinda saves a lot of time, doing the way you did it. Good job!
