- Pensacola vs Dallas. Let's take a look at their stats and compare them to find out if one ship is better than the other. This was a suggestion by channel member, BrandonABC, so this is dedicated to you, buddy!
I apologize for the one omission I made but I did catch it before uploading. I just didn't want to redo half of the video so I inserted an edit closer to the end to make it less work. This was a close Versus and in the end I had to make a tough decision as to who the winner was! Which do you think is the better ship?

Dallas has really good dpm but Pensacola gives me a lot of devastating strikes against light cruisers
They both have their strengths for sure. It just depends on what playstyle you like more.
I agree with everything but we missed one factor. Light cruisers have better AA. So the Dallas should get a point for AA.
I agree with you, but in game the AA rating for Pensacola is 55 and for the Dallas is 54. Not sure if we can trust those numbers from WG but looking at the stats, they do seem pretty even. I did this video before carriers were added to the game so they didn't have an AA stats page yet!
@VazzVegas I was totally looking at the wrong ship, lol Sorry. I was looking at Des Moines vs Worcester.
I still think the Dallas is better. That might just be my bias seeing as I’ve maxed it out. I’m trying to play the Pensacola but it’s very frustrating.
But it is nice citadeling those lightly armored battleships in the Pensacola.
Both ships are difficult to play. You can't make many mistakes and get away with them. And I agree, the guns on the Pensacola make the AP penetration very powerful. It was a pain to change everything but I'm glad I discovered that I had missed that fact and was able to include it in the video. Honestly, it's really the only good thing I can say about that ship.
Dallas = light cruiser, means u can bully dd easily.
Pensacola = heavy cruiser, means you spend most of your time with bb fighting other ca and bb.
Dallas is way faster, the turret traverse does not feel like a battleship and the dpm is way higher. I am a bad cruiser cpt, but I get better results in the Dallas
Agreed. Someone who isn't a fan of cruiser's won't change their mind when playing the PepsiCola.
I just hit 9 citadels on the Hawkin with Dallas. Yeah it was down tiered but still not bad
When the opportunity presents itself, the Dallas can punish. I hear the Hawkins is pretty bad though. I was lucky that i didnt have to grind all the way through it.
