Nice to see a video on Pensacola, nobody ever does, I feel that lower tier is more fun right now because matchmaking at higher tiers right now is broken, lower tier ships refresh the game and make it fun again!
Pensacola is still a fun and great cruiser . The 203mm guns still smack hard. Pensacola and Dallas are still my top 2 favorites at tier 5 . Pensacola guns are very good at smacking British bbs. Having a max Einstein commander really helps the turrets
American 203's will ALWAYS be goated.
Started playing a few weeks ago and playing the Pepsicola has been the most fun ship, don't have enough silver to buy the New Orleans so more reason to keep playing this
Yeah the US 8in guns are so good I have at close range citadel BBs like Sinop, I mean pound for pound the US 8in guns are nasty.

I would agree that the Pensacola is a great cruiser, but Budyouny with a decent player behind the helm will run circles around this ship. High Velocity guns, good reload, high pin on anything, damn good Fire chance, fast, good turing capabilities. I would put my money on Budyouny over the Pensacola.

Just started playing on mobile. New favorite game. You should do a nightmare mode tutorial lol😅 do any ship review you want. Dont care about views. Its all algorithm, we are interested ❤
Definitely not for me if I am gonna be honest. The turret traverse is too slow for my liking. So much so that they come off target when you need to make a turn and it feels really clunky to play. I love using New Orleans though so I would still say it was worth giving it a chance.

I have eaten alive so many Dallas & Pensacolas with the Nurnberg.
Any cruiser without torps is dead meat on a map with islands facing competent captains. The Pensacola is a fine ship at a distance, but has no tool to effectively defend itself from a torpedo cruiser up close.
Show me a USN T5 cruiser that can go toe to toe at 5km or less with a Nurnberg if they are captains of equal skill. They don't exist..
Any USN cruiser without torps is a dead duck if a Nurnberg has a full head of steam on coming to take its Soul..

I have no problems obliterating cruisers at medium to close ranges either with my 203s. Nurnburg has poor armor and I have zero problem citadeling them.
@@DrGhostGames - Then I look forward to seeing you in a future match. I used to be a Pensacola captain fan when I was new until I saw the wrecking power of T5 torpedo cruisers.
You will not catch me broadside, and you *will* eat my torpedos when I come around the island and surprise you, or take you straight on in a drive-by.
The Pensacola is a wrecking ball at 7km or further, but she cannot handle a close up knife fight. That realization is why I switched off of them.

These guns are not to mess with haha. It's my favorite cruiser with the space unique camouflage for it. Lot of people thrown out of the match way too quick and wondering why they get picked. *It's not a ship to sleep in.* because bbs love you when you explode.
I like the space camos but I prefer not to run them... it just makes people want to shoot me more 🤣
I enjoy your videos Thanks for making this one. I kinda wish Indianapolis was tier 5 . It would be way more fun. When it faces tier 7 with no heal abd long reload it's tough

I'll definitely agree that it's 8" guns are good just in every other respect if you don't watch everything she's a citadel factory for the opposition.
Personally give me the Nürnberg, good 6" guns and reliable torpedoes👍👍
This ship has really good guns, but the turret traverse kills it for me. When I have to turn my ship, something you do often in cruisers, your turrets have a very difficult time staying on target. This would be one of my favorite ships if the turret traverse was more manageable

Grinding the US cruiser line has been the most enjoyable experience in my entire legends career. I'm having a blast, until I hop in a battleship lol

Speaking of amazing matchmaking I was in a lobby of almost nothing but cruisers in my New Mexico. Ypu may think "This is my time" but RNG completely took me out of the game. I fired at broadside cruisers 6 times landing center of mass. 1 cit and a pitiful 38k damage no ships sunk.
I swear there is some sort of "balancing" algorithm for when matchmaking screws up like this when you're the sole battleship. Did I mention 2 of those cruisers I hit broadside were Omahas? Talk about the game trolling. 🤦♂️

I definitely agree that Pensacola has always been the best and favorite of my cruisers but Exeter cruiser hits just as hard too. My top three cruisers Exeter, Belfast, and Plymouth. Pensacola is the trump card to me. But question which ship should I get West Virginia or Arizona.
West Virginia 1st. Arizona later. Both are equally good tho. I never mind playing any of the American standard types.

Got my friends into this game and told them wait till you unlock the Pensacola and Dallas both ships are good. Oh I finally got a early access Japanese cruiser if you remember what I said last video. Lol
They're definitely 'HEAVY' xD And yeah pretty much all of the American cruisers are good. Just gotta keep your head on a swivel, use islands, and dont get yeeted haha.
I can't stand cruisers. I'm so bad at them, I just get smacked around, Ive gotten all the way up to Baltimore but it has been so painful. Dds and bb's are so much more forgiving to play. Can't break the 100k DMG mark with cruisers, so frustrating.

@@DrGhostGames Lol you're telling me! Only 250 games in cruisers, so I have a lot to learn but it's been many hard lessons. I do better in open water than island chilling.
It's important in any ship but especially when playing Cruisers...keep a vigilant eye on your mini-map for enemies that might have access to your broadside
Best guns at tier V… yes… best hull? lol no… great ship, but the wrong map and wrong starting placement makes it very hard to last very long.
Definitely a great ship, but BB’s can eat the Pensacola even if you angle
