Siempre vuelvo a este concierto, minuto 19:40 (Mi preferido) perfecta armonía entre luces y sonido, entrada épica! Usar las luces no solo como elemento estético, si no que, como un potenciador... me parece hermoso.
I only recently found this band a few months ago but I'm obsessed with their sound and just sad I discovered them so late as it seems they had amazing concerts around this time, but I still have to go see them at some point
🇬🇧...bought the CD "Final Conversation To The King" around '07/'08 when I was still languishing in prison for a long time. This upload really packs a punch... 🇩🇪...kaufte die CD "Final Conversation To The King" so etwa '07/'08 als ich noch längere Zeit im Knast zu schmoren hatte. Dieser Upload knallt richtig rein...
I'm confused as to some of the negative comments, he is hitting the high notes, he is not cracking. So what's the problem? He goes higher here than he does on the cd.
It's honestly just misunderstanding his vocal expression. If he were singing incorrectly, he could not maintain consistency over an hour and a half... It's just a style he uses, but I see how some people wouldn't like it. I got here from a Dead Letter Circus video haha. I guess that might be an example of the kind of expression people expect...
+keeponplaying This is me just checking the band out for the first time and as I see it, I think a higher, mid range would sound better personally. He has a deeper/mid range voice, but he chooses to go even higher, almost unnecessarily. Just my opinion. He hits the notes really well, so nothing against the voice/ability.
He's at the end of his tether here, for whatever reason. Which makes the end of the set that much better, because he gives it everything. He conserved his voice for the whole set then just threw it out the window for the encore. Sometimes you wake up without a voice, and you have to preserve it for the sake of your audience, so that you can give them the moments they've paid their admission price for. I reckon his throat and neck hurt for a week after this.
this band is so great! Been a fan for only.. like what 6 months and i can't stop listening to them. Man i wish i could see them live, they seem so perfect and... argh!
My ex looks heaps like clint it was scary, lol. Glad i got to see em here in sydney before they left us, great aussie band and under rated as fuck! I'll always be EFFECTED!
I saw this these guys soooo early into their career at a kawana pool party on the sunny coast haha playing for 15 - 20 people or something like that. faaark they where sick still then playing all the stuff which would eventually be on the begins here album. his voice sounds pretty battered here though
From some point of view, some songs from TBE may turn out to be a bit too cheesy, except for some songs, which for me are just immaculate. In any case, it's definitely one of the most underrated bands out there.
🇬🇧...where did I get the tip for the CD - from German radio: "Scream - Hard 'n Heavy" - the only current source of information at the time... 🇩🇪...woher hatte ich den Tipp für die CD - vom deutschen Radio: "Scream - Hard 'n Heavy" - der einzigen damaligen aktuellen Informationsquelle...
Back then I’d say they would have. Helmet were huge in Australia in the mid to late 90s, so I doubt they would have forgotten them a few years later. Daniel Johns from silverchair wore a Helmet tshirt at some of their gigs too.
Butterfly Effect's music is world class. Not sure why the shitty rock radio stations in Sydney don't play their music. If it were me I would make sure it does every day and not the crap that's on rotation every day. It's like I'm caught up in some crazy dream where the music on the radio is run by some alien force to dumb down the population. Repeating the some shit every day. This band should be given the respect they deserve. Wonderful comes to mind.
SOrry if you don't understood that begins here is the best album. Its a masterpiece. Listen it again maybe you will apreciate it in an other way (listen it track by track in the right order)! cheers :)
They released a documentary DVD which kind of went over the bands history and the whole, long, extended break up. Really raw, emotional and truthful interviews from the band members etc. This concert was the other part of the DVD.
+Kakashikewl I never knew until recently as well. I believe the documentary is called 'effected' but could be wrong. If you google image search you can find the cover of the dvd. Just can't seem to find it for sale anywhere.
All singers have good days and bad days. I just saw them live a few weeks ago in Hobart and he was immaculate - and singing their early (higher) stuff.
Its why Kurt and Clint fought so much. Kurt basically quit because Clint never looked after/practiced his vocals. Too much partying destroyed Clints vocal chords after begins here. His nodes scarring made the one thing unique about his singing, moot.
i so miss this band, i have recently revisited their albums, fuckin awesome music, i love clint's voice but he wines about chicks and relationships too much IMO, anyone who's into these guys should check out "Dead Letter Circus", they are kind of in the same vein but lyrically so much more interesting, and of course Karnivool kill it too, except their new album, sorry karniboys, its crap, get back to ya roots
Funny thing about this band is, whilst Worlds on Fire is one of the greatest songs ever written so much of the rest of their catalogue is just average.
One of the most underrated bands on the planet
i think u misspelled best band on the planet
🇬🇧...don't despair, they are known even here (Germoney) in the old world. Still have their 3rd album "Final Conversation Of Kings" in my collection...

What a brilliant fucking band, can't believe these never got huge. Imago and begins here are two amazing albums.
What a shame
@@We_Are_All_Vultures Still listening to their songs almost everyday. They never get boring.

Do caralho esse show! Muito muito bom!
Saw Clint playing with his new band Like Thieves the other week, he's still got the goods

Absolutely would’ve loved to been there!

My ex looks heaps like clint it was scary, lol.
Glad i got to see em here in sydney before they left us, great aussie band and under rated as fuck!
I'll always be EFFECTED!
I saw this band a few years ago at The Castle Hill RSL , they blew the rof off the place, A great Aussie Band

+Clint Boge nice account mate
+Clint Boge .. what a pity I never saw you with TBE... you created something beautiful together!!..
+Clint Boge... the Palais will do that to ya
+Clint Boge troll much??
1:22:00 for the haters, damn what a voice.
Holy crap - that gave me chills.
When I heard The Cell on tripple j for the first time I thought TBE was the coolest band ever.
How rad it that my dad was in a band with clint
rad dad!
this is killer!!!!
I come here often
Joined the double-kick club now, Ben? Welcome, welcome.
Miss these guys bad.

oh man this wouldve been epic in that place
Not one comment about Ben and his amazing drumming skill always haha
soooooooooooo goooooood!

I'm waiting for something. Since 2007
love the helmet song 40mins in - wonder if the crowd knows the tune?
Back then I’d say they would have. Helmet were huge in Australia in the mid to late 90s, so I doubt they would have forgotten them a few years later. Daniel Johns from silverchair wore a Helmet tshirt at some of their gigs too.
@@MrZZsharka yeah right - thought i was one of the few into helmet back then

Clint's a beast
lol he makes me laugh.....A great performer!!
Do caralho, sem palavras...
the cage defines the beautiful mind..
still soo good though
Check out their first EP seriously
Worlds on Fire
The bassist just kicks ass... all the band does, in general, but the bassist... Similar bass frequency as Helmet's Betty.
For some reason I just can't get into their earlier stuff - I just love Final Conversation of Kings, that album is just insanely good musically.
Imago is great. I didn't care for "Begins Here" too much cliche 90 riffs.
SOrry if you don't understood that begins here is the best album. Its a masterpiece. Listen it again maybe you will apreciate it in an other way (listen it track by track in the right order)! cheers :)
+Meraki M how do you compare final conversation of kings to begins here?
1. imago
2. begins here
3. final convo
in that order for me love this band!!
For me it's
1. Begins here
2. Imago
3. Final Conversation
a little bit inside of me died this night
Got into this band far to late.
not nearly as late as me ... thank god Karnivool is still going
They're back with a new single
have you got the documentary to upload?
Is this available for downloading somewhere?
That Helmet cover kick so much booty.
What guitar were they using during Crave? Body like a PRS, but different head.
Does anyone have a link to the effected documentary? I've been wanting to see it for ages but can't find it to purchase anywhere.
+Ben Schroeder What's that?
They released a documentary DVD which kind of went over the bands history and the whole, long, extended break up. Really raw, emotional and truthful interviews from the band members etc. This concert was the other part of the DVD.
+Ben Schroeder Oh wow, never knew that. Thanks!
+Ben Schroeder Do you know the name of the Documentary?
+Kakashikewl I never knew until recently as well. I believe the documentary is called 'effected' but could be wrong. If you google image search you can find the cover of the dvd. Just can't seem to find it for sale anywhere.
I wish Clint was doing heavy music still :( All I see of him is acoustic stuff. Not bad, but I enjoy heavier rock music.
Clint is still doing rock with Thousand Needles In Red and Like Thieves.
NIce, love the guitar sound, drop D or something?
Drop C for most of it
I think TBE need to get back together withdrawal issues bad now!
Sounds like deftones
This theatre is now in the process of demolition.
isn't it the Palais Theatre?
Palace.. used to exist at the top of Bourke Street
Didn't know The Rock had a band.
Şunu arada bir açıp dinleyen tek Türk benim sanırım :)
damn that singer is STRUUUUUGGLING.....
All singers have good days and bad days. I just saw them live a few weeks ago in Hobart and he was immaculate - and singing their early (higher) stuff.
Hyphoon barney
the band is awesome but I think something's wrong with the singer. He's struggling so hard to hit the high notes. it sounds no good.
Totally agree. Why he keeps on trying to go for those damn high notes is beyond me. Gets rather annoying after a while :(
definitely out of shape, look at their earlier live videos, he nailed every note. seems like a bad mixture of alcohol and drugs/not practicing
Its why Kurt and Clint fought so much. Kurt basically quit because Clint never looked after/practiced his vocals. Too much partying destroyed Clints vocal chords after begins here. His nodes scarring made the one thing unique about his singing, moot.
@@drakenhax6412 Clint is back. Just saw them and he looks refreshed, in shape and he's sounding great.
I like some of the songs. enough to watch this live recording. I see him pretentious. ill stick to the audio thanks
Those gloves, jacket and galluses
Man, the singer has some terrible sense of fashion
+Ivan Malek Maybe it was cold ;)
Thats the only thing i too have to criticise :)
His falsetto notes don't translate well live.
(if you really want to criticize ;)
i so miss this band, i have recently revisited their albums, fuckin awesome music, i love clint's voice but he wines about chicks and relationships too much IMO, anyone who's into these guys should check out "Dead Letter Circus", they are kind of in the same vein but lyrically so much more interesting, and of course Karnivool kill it too, except their new album, sorry karniboys, its crap, get back to ya roots

There's room for both of them. It's not actually a competition.
Funny thing about this band is, whilst Worlds on Fire is one of the greatest songs ever written so much of the rest of their catalogue is just average.
You're just average
