One of my favourite bands for a decade now. This was the song that set them up to dominate prog rock.

Not to mention the fact that Karnivool were playing live even before then and had a number of EPs. Cog set up the Australian prog rock movement, Karnivool knocked it out of the park and TFN is just one of many absolutely amazing bands/artists to rise from this movement.
How on earth can we push such music to below 25 yrs old... especially the ones with no music understanding, happy to listen to latest pop and rap only....

The amount of Bass in this band is just pure Love. The whole band is amazing, but I just love how much the bass is standing out. Most bands just put the bass in a follow the leader-mode but in this band it reminds me of Mudvayne and how prevalent the bass is.

an American comedian named Bill Burr turned me onto this band. I haven't stopped listening or telling everyone I know about them. they r so complete. incredibly powerful both musically and lyrically. sound awake might be one of the most complete rock albums ive heard in 2 decades. still need to see them live.

Two years ago I found out about Haken and got hooked instantly. I saw comments how people see Karnivool's influence in their music and now that I'm seeing this I'm starting to understand the notion. I can't stop listening to this.

Texas Here incidentally, I heard these guys on the radio once, several years ago and could never find them anywhere, due to how I mispelled their name. I scoured, anyhow... I eventually refound them LOL a few years ago. Yes, The VOOL is definitely in a league of their own. No reason to compare them with anyone, they have defined themselves as their own, and continue to do so. Amazing group of musicians.
God, I love this song way too much. Can't get enough of those guitar riffs. Kind of reminds me of a heavier V.A.S.T. or also similarities to Ra for the eastern vibe.
I streight up met these guys and played on the drummers kit as it was being packed,I don't remember much but the guitarist eyes were so black and I worshipped these guys,the singer was happy for a pic and bless the drummer let me hit his half taken down kit,mad kunts because I was ripped
I was at that concert at the Metro, upper left balcony facing the stage, and I don't remember there *being a ad* halfway through the song… [MM9 was the main support in one of their final shows, those that went will know I'm not making up being there].
