at 20:29 you put switchport access for vlan 30 but in the lab when it says s2 for fa 0/18 but then it says s1 for vlan 30. It doesn't give you a vlan for s2. Is it a typo or am i missing something? thank you
Hi Tech Acad, I am a student at a college currently working on a skill based assessment in Cisco 2. I was wondering if you could help me with it there is a lot here that I have trouble understanding.
If you use the remove option for the switchport trunk allowed vlan command you are essentially allowing every vlan except 1 and 999. That's a huge security risk and not what the directions are asking for. I came here because a bunch of my students had this same funky error on their show int trunk command and I wanted to know why. The correct command is S(config-if)#switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,20,30,1000.
Thank god for the fine step-by-step explanation from this gentleman ! What a great relief !
