    Great video, this is literally next on my list.

      I totally understand why this pedal is so desirable now :)

    I’ve been finally using Nixie with this . Had no idea there was a program. Really cool stuff. Shake my head at everyone that does a video “why I’m getting rid of my timeline.” Etc…
    Plugging into Ableton… you’ve more than enough Fx (and certainly delays). But there’s nothing like a pedal. Plug and play. Physically twisting knobs (you filthy little dirt box!). Good fun.

    If you get a Mobius can you do a video like this as well? I have one, but just not getting the best results yet.. This video sounds awesome!

      I'll add that to the list! I'm trying to get the Boss 500 series to demo at the moment.

      Leon Todd cool!

    Cool. But it doesn't seem to sound much different than the variety of delays in my Axefx 2xl+.

      TheScaredofsilence that's right. Even AX8 is a reason not to get these.
      Fractals are more than enough.
      Anyway, the review is great as always.
      Leon is the Man!🤘🍻

      I just finished editing a video comparison of the AX8 and TL so look out for that. Amazing how close you can get them :p

      I'm actually not a huge fan of the delay block in my AX8, so I've started using my Empress EchoSystem in the loop and it's so much easier to dial in. Plus it saved me a tone of DSP.

      and no different than my less expensive EHX Canyon either.

    Compared to AX8 delays, whats your opinion?

    • @LeonTodd
      @LeonTodd  6 лет назад +3

      I just finished editing a comparison clip that will be up in the next day. I'll put it this way; if you have the Axe you don't need anything else ;)

      Sometimes I find myself looking for more versatility from my AX8, since I like to use one preset per project. Also the fact that changing the reverb from huge to subtle makes a funny sound if done while playing. But sound-wise you're absolutely correct!

    Leon Just one question how you get this clean tone?

    • @LeonTodd
      @LeonTodd  6 лет назад

      AX8 for the cleans

  • @Gusther37

    But the Delays From the AX8 sounds better or they are in the Same Level?

    • @LeonTodd
      @LeonTodd  6 лет назад

      The AX8 can do everything the Timeline can. I did a video about it so you can hear for yourself.

    Are the reverbs in the AX8 a match for this?

    I like the sounds of the Prince Dawner Boonar pedal better.

    I did love mine when I had it :) The AX8 replaced it for me.

      Judd see my new video comparing them? AX8 nails it!
