When it comes to Metal Raiders, my nostalgia hits with Magician of Faith. She gave me my second ever win at locals allowing me to get back Raigeki to finish off my opponent with a finishing blow from MoF.

I remember seeing the old school booster packs in Toys R' Us when I was a lot younger. No idea they would be so valuable today and that I didn't get the same cards that Yugi and Kaiba had when I opened the packs lol.

Gate guardian is my most nostalgic from this set because of how epic it was used by yugi in the show. Such a sick looking design too. Another awesome thing about this new 25th set is that even the smell of the cards have stayed the same over 25 years 😀
The most nostalgic card from metal raiders is Harpie lady. I loved it so much when I watched Mai use it. The card was so cool and seemed so strong with all the equip cards Mai used for it. I feel like harpie’s were also one of the first archetypes
Recently got back into Yugioh and with the release of the 25th anniversary box I forgot how incredible the game was back in 2005. Definitely still think GOAT format takes the cake. Definitely hoping to get a summoned skull because I already have red-eyes and black skull dragon.

For the longest time, I thought Elegant Egotist's art was stained glass or flowers. Now that Simply held it up close to the camera, I see now its side face profiles of Harpy Lady... I remember this set coming out when I was in middle school years ago, and my mind is now blown....
Sangan is my most memorable card, weird right. I gave that card to my dad when I was young and he kept it in his wallet up until he passed away. We ended up finding it about 20 years later still in there
Mirror Force is the most nostalgic card in this set for me, cause similar to Monster Reborn from LOB, I always tried to put it into a Deck when I could fit it cause it was once so good.

My fav has to be summoned skull! Seeing yugi use it in the episodes was the best. Especially when he merged it with joeys red eyes!
I am all about Summoned skull. I have his card and him as a Funko on my desk! Loving the yugioh content. Haven't played since the beginning, but I have since got back into it because it just brings that small amounts of joy needed every once in a while in life.
Nothing better than the legendary 2500 beat stick Summoned Skull. I also love Change of Heart. Loved when Bakura revealed his favourite card.

Mirror Force is both my most memorable card from Metal Raiders and my favorite card in yugioh altogether. I remember trying so hard to pull one years ago. Went through over 700+ cards worth before I pulled one and the day I got mine was on my best friend's birthday. I was buying her a birthday gift, decided may as well try one more time for Mirror Force while I was shopping so I grabbed a $10 value box that had assorted packs in it, and pulled it finally. I almost gave up on getting one. And that was back when it was over $100+ in value, hadn't been printed as a common in structure decks til several years after I pulled mine.
The nostalgia for me is the Gate Guardian from MRD that was my 1st big pull when I was buying the 1st ed packs in middle school
The most nostalgic card for me in this set has to be either Heavy Storm of Summoned Skull, I remember how common Heavy Storm was when I was a lot younger and Summoned Skull was such an awesome monster from the show and his art was sick!
Mine would definitely be Mirror force. Never could build a deck without the trap card. It's so good a card

Black Skull Dragon is my favorite card! Metal Raiders was the first pack I ever opened when I was a kid and pulled him in my first ever pack. Back in the day where we didn’t tribute summon and played fusion monsters in the main deck lol

Catapult turtle was the first rare I ever got out of a pack when I was a kid and I still have it to this day. I loved that card and always tried to find ridiculous ways to burn lifepoints to end games against my friends.

I actually have a couple of cards from my High School days when these packs were released.
I have a 1st Edition Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon from this set Specifically, and I have MegaMorph and Fairy Meteor Crush both of which are Magic cards and not Spell.
BUT!!! With all that said my most Nostalgic Card has to be that damn 'The Bistro Butcher'. LOL!! Just because I remember pulling it so many damn times when I had to ask for money to buy packs 😂 and I absolutely hated seeing him!

Been watching you on and off all the way back from 2012 with that legendary collection with the god cards in which you pulled the gate guardian in a single metal raiders back, absolutely love seeing you still getting the same hype from the same cards just like all of us from the other end of the screen. Hoping to get my hands on both the metal raiders set and the 25th anniversary legendary collection to re start the collection I’ve been missing for too long. Keep up the great work brother
That 3rd set of 24 packs had 4 secrets???? For me the most nostalgic card is definitely Mirror Force. The joy of using it against a stacked field and the heartbreak of it being used against me from a winning position Is the epitome of early Yugioh's emotional roller coaster.
The most nostalgic card in this set has got to be Gate Guardian. I remember I got a tin for Christmas when I was like 11 and pulled it. Crazy

Time wizard is my favorite because Joey was such a great character! He started out not even knowing how to play. And yugi gives time the time wizard and it saved his butt so many times in the show! It was great 👍

Mirror Force is my number one favorite trap card in the set, because it can block a monster's attack and bounce back, then destroy the opponent's monster as he or she lose life points. Sabrina Griffin.

Metal raiders, man what a good set. I'd def have to say that my nostalgia hits with Pumpking and the castle of dark illusion. The classic zombie deck mainstays were just some of my favorite combos for a while
Such a nostalgic set~!! My first card was gifted to me in the second grade 20 years ago and that was Ancient Elf (and it is still in my collection today), so that card is close to my heart as is Kuriboh~!
B. Skull Dragon is the most powerful card (and UR) I ever pulled from a pack as a kid, so that takes the cake for me. Next up for nostalgia was Thousand Dragon as my only childhood SE pull.

As a kid my stepmother bought me two MRD packs, my first ever Yugioh packs, while on vacation. The first one had Garnecia, the second one had Mirror Force. Absolutely fire pulls for a first couple of packs.
I didn't acquire a Time Wizard until much later, but for ages I had a place for it in every deck a made just to have a chance to turn the tables, as it often did. Good times from my favorite retro set.
My first ever ultra rare was from this set. I was so excited when I pulled B. Skull Dragon. Wish I still had that card, but years back my basement flooded. The water wasn't wait ruined the cards it was the humidity from the water after the fact.
For me it's Gate Guardian. I honestly couldn't even really tell you why. There's just something about the art and how it was made out to be such a big boss monster in the anime. Also, ngl, I still remember the first video I ever saw from you was when you pulled that secret rare Gate Guardian like a decade ago now. dam I remember taking my unsleeved deck tied up in a rubber band that i stuffed in my pocket where i would walk over to my friends apartment building where we would duel on the lobby floor. We would hold little tournaments and eat our snacks. All the tenants would walk by and occasionally stop and watch us play. That black skull dragon put some fear in us for sure.

Sanga, Suijin, and Kazejin. I remember three of my friends pulling one of each and I pulled the Gate Guardian. We wouldn't trade with each other, nor would we combine our cards. Lol! We were only kids.

Metal Raiders is my favorite set ever and Time Wizard is my favorite from the set. Every card from MRD is just so cool to look at.
Congratulations on pulling both the secret rares in the Metal Raiders set. Quite the rare achievement IMO and LOB is the only set I've done that with
I remember my friends first showing me yugioh cards when they came out when I was 5 (2000). I begged my mom to buy me a pack. One day when she picked me up from kindergarten she gave me a single metal raiders pack (my very first pack). I was so excited. I opened it up and was amazed at all the cards, one in particular. A holo B. Skull Dragon. I didn't know at the time how unlikely it was. I look back on that as my fondest early memory of my yugioh card collection.
Most nostalgic for me is a card my brother pulled. B. Skull Dragon.
He ended up gifting it to me, and I would use it in my gimmick fusion deck. Wasn’t the best, but it was always satisfying to summon.

I’ll never forget opening two packs and one had Harpie Lady Sisters. I begged and begged my dad to take me to the store after I saw the duel between Yugi and Mai one Saturday morning. Harpie Lady Sisters is still my favorite card and I have my OG one in a sleeve. I was hoping you pulled it out. :)

Thousand Dragon was always iconic for me. Always remember how awesome it was when Joey turned that duel around good style and then had his Thousand Dragon burn the harpies ladies with Flames coming out of his nose
I'm most nostalgic about Paralyzing Potion, specifically because of one particular duel I had with my cousin when I was a kid. He had his boss monster on the field (I think it was Blue Eyes Ultimate, but I also remember it being a Warrior type monster), and it looked like me and my siblings were gonna lose, but then I played Paralyzing Potion and stopped him in his tracks.
Nothing beats the classic red eyes black skull dragon!

B. Skull dragon is hands down best foil card in the set, in my opinion. I bought a mystery box few years ago and pulled one out of an MRD pack. I wanted to grade it so bad back then but life goes on 🤷

I don't remember opening many MRD back in the day, but I know I've got a unlimited summoned skull in my collection still.
What annoys me at the time was I wasn't into pokemon at the time and the video shop was selling skyridge and I never picked up any.

Most nostalgic for me was twin headed thunder dragon! I remember when I was little my parents bought me a booster pack and I got twin headed thunder dragon and I was so excited to pull it but I realized I needed 2 thunder dragons and a poly and got sad that I didn’t have any of that 😢
Metal Raiders really got me started and hooked, nothing like pulling the big man Gate Guardian to make things really fun.

I remember opening one of these packs at my local px (exchange) store in Fort Hood Texas. I got a thousand dragon, later I was going through my pack again and realized a card was stuck on the back of that thousand dragon, it was a duplicate! I have never seen this before and I was the one of the most luckiest kids
