Summoned Skull is my favorite in Metal Raiders!

1st ed metal raiders retail hobby box! Best opening of the month!
Metal Raiders was the 1st box I ever opened for my 14th birthday in 2008, it was a euro version at that time I didn’t know what the e stood for, but I just wanted to pull Mirror Force and I did it! I don’t even remember if I got Thousand Dragon or not but that was fun then.
I came to see some old school opening and to chew gum… and I’m out of gum.

I fell asleep last night listening to this video and then had a dream that ruxin came to dinner with me and my family, but throughout the entire meal he wouldn't stop opening up imaginary metal raiders packs and yell out the names of every card in each pack. I woke up in tears from laughing so hard...ahhh I appreciate your videos man! Great stuff!
Time wizard is definitely my favourite MRD card!

That was an AMAZING opening, so much nostalgia and classic staples from back in my early gaming days! Too many cards to choose from as my fav, I'd say it would be between Mirror Force and Change of Heart for me as I used those cards A LOT back in the day, such fond memories :)
My favorite is Time Wizard; not only is it an anime card, but it's one of my favorite monster designs.

There's something magical about the artwork of those vintage boxes, every time i see one is like a super fast portal to my childhood opens up and i can see myself buy one at the local market in front of my school 🥹
Maybe a weird choice, but seven tools was always my favorite MRD card. Got a lot of mileage out of that thing years ago.

Mirror force was huge back in the day. Especially at tournaments when Yugioh was still new. I remember paying $60 for a 1st Ed mirror force back then as a teenager and thinking it was a ton of money for just a card. Wish I still had all mine 😢

A lot of great cards in metal raiders but one of my favorites of all time has got to be Thunder Dragon, thought it looked cool as hell as a kid, it’s great in goat format, and you can play it to this day in Thunder Dragons

Opened some metal raiders boxes back in 2014, still have the cards untoched, but the prices are really low for the rares at least in my country, too bad for me.

Late to the party but showing up for sure! MRD is such an epic set, but if I have to pick a favorite it will always be Summoned Skull. I pulled it from the 25th reprint and was really happy with it, I can't imagine pulling a 1st ed one!

Can’t lie has to be winged kariboh/ normal kariboh just because of how simple he is though the anime but paired with cards can stop some of the toughest opponents it’s just nice. To see him used as a massive defensive card
