I LOVE Roy Keane as a player and a person. Wish there was someone like him in Man U today to straighten up the lads. Absolute legend!
The reason why current players in the dressing room would not survive in the dressing room with Keane, is the same reason the vast majority will achieve almost nothing in their career.. When once in a lifetime managers combine with once in a life time captains you get once in a lifetime levels of success. Legend - period!

Roy is a legendl. Passion shouldn't be mistaken for anger. Keane wanted the best from his team mates, that's it. He's right about current players. His opinion is just that, if you don't like it don't watch.
People forget he was a great player! Everyone says he was the best they played with
Keane is many things, cowardly isn't one of them.
Why the click bait ?.
Brian Clough knew how to handle him. Cloughie was also a great player in his time and he didn't take any BS either. He was hard but fair and the rebellious Roy Keane understood that and respected it. That was the difference between his time at Forest and his later battles with SAF.....
That's not quite right. As a young man Keane was more respectful of Clough and bit his tongue. As he became older and wiser he had less patience and he wouldn't bite his tongue anymore no matter who you are!!! If Keane had been @ Forest all his career under Clough, they would have almost certainly fallen out!

Simply put, he's the most consistent player/captain the PL has ever seen. If you were to put together the best 11 the PL has ever seen you would begin by writing Keane ( Captain). That's the biggest compliment you could pay the man. One you would always want by your side in battle, always reliable and a born leader of men. Sadly a dying breed today 👍
