@orang1414 Usually the fibre content in the vegetables slow down the digestion of the sugars meaning you won't get that big blood glucose spike. Just be careful blending or mashing them as this can break down the fibre meaning the glucose will be more easily absorbed, but the level of sugar in vegetables is really not worth worrying about! But as a whole any kind of vegetable won't give you a big glucose spike

Like, last night I made chili honey butter roasted Brussels sprouts, and it made it impossible not to want to eat a ton of Brussels sprouts…I feel like that black and white thinking has people eating flavorless, sad steamed vegetables with barely seasoned chicken breast, instead of cooking it and and adding things like honey and butter and spices to make those healthy ingredients taste amazing.
My "out of the box" thinking is hoping to get other foods from your fridge behind you. I don't like bell peppers and moreover they are nightshade fruits. Chocolates can be too addictive. Those with hazelnuts are more tempting than plain ones. Thank you for the treat 👍❤ 🤭

Or pasta? Or beside steak most likely bc god I need protein lol) And I would pick maybe like half that amount of chocolate but it’s gotta be the good shit where I really like taste all the flavor and savor. Do not “hork it down” That’s what I’d do now :) I came from those cabbage soup ONLY diets that Paris Hilton was endorsing 🙄 god. And I’m even skinnier and more toned than I was when I was a teen lol and I’m eating TONS more to a point where I’m tired of eating and cooking and I just don’t wanna eat anymore and just have a protein shake (that is my problem of this era lol) sorry if this comment is scrambled. The first one has to be wrong- pepper is 26 calories per 100g, meaning one pepper is at least 50 calories. Usually they weigh more like 300g. Those surely aren’t less than 100g each at least!
