After you get the beginner choice banner, standard summons are for the standard weapon banner. Its targeted, guaranteed, and you can change the target after you get one. I have three different standard 5 star weapons, two from getting lucky on the banner and one from the free box.
Fr.... I never even pulled from the choice banner because I know I will eventually get all the standard characters..... I started pulling on weapon banner from day one never pulled for characters.... I got 2 swords, 2 sword 1 gun and a rectifier ...
Honestly, this might be the sole use of standard summons from now on. To get standard weapons and even dupes. Since it's targeted it's pretty much a no brainer. Great insight guys!
@@Akirashirogayanaki9322you can stop pull standard weapons... Rectifier Is dogshit It Is litterally the weakest 5 star in the game 2 sword 1 gun Is more than enough already the other weapons are bad. You Will eventually pull limited 5 star weapons powercreeping your 5 stars very easily(except sword and gun)...if you want continue pull standard weapons maybe you should go for sword R5
I did both of the beguiner banner pulls, and nabbed a Lustrous Razor for Jinshi along an Emerald of Genesis from the Box. Since I got a Stringmaster from free pulls and the standard pool Gauntlet is very mid for current options and the upcoming Xiangli Yao, I pretty much plan to get a 5* Pistol since it's likely to conserve a niche as a Crit Weapon with a supportive effect, and then start saving Haven't used my selector yet, still debating wether to get either Jianxin or a Verina dupe since I didnt need the former to max ToA mid floors so far
After getting the 5 star standard characters I wanted through rerolling I've just been tossing all the standard rolls on the 5 star weapons. Got the 5 star sword for havoc rover and the rectifier for Encore. The 5 star standard character dupes really don't offer a lot of value especially the earlier ones so going for dupes on them isn't really worth for f2p or low spenders IMO. The weapons will be good even just for their raw stats for a while on most characters,
yeah no bad advice, rather get all the 5 weapons for the high base atk and atk% plus the 12.8 energy regen After that only look at sword and maybe the guns since they the only ones of value and the gauntlets but eeeehhh
Tof adds limited ch to the stander after a year of Thier release. But I don't see Kuro doing this anytime soon . Don't think saving the pulls( for a low chance on hope) is a smart idea

Maybe i will use them on a 5 star weapon if it's not far enough in performance from a future character's weapon that i want. If i get good weapons i'll go for eidolons, er i mean constellations. Or was it mindscape cinema? Never mind.. too many gacha.

I’ve been using them for the standard weapon banners. I got super lucky with my character pulls. I want my 5*s to have 5*s weapons.

You're right, I didn't account for it. Getting weapon dupes might also be worth.
