Love my Volvo buses new and old, Although I do have to admit my favourite is my 1989 Volvo B10M MK2 with PMC Sydney (Australia) “Metro 90” body work. Even at 32 years old with 680,000km on the clock as an ex route bus, It still gets out in the highway and comfortably sits on 100kph. Bought it aight unseen after it had sat for 6 months put 2 new batteries in it turned the key and it fired right up, Drove 10 minutes out of town got onto the highway and it just ate up the 250km home and didn’t miss a beat. So new or old I know which buses and coaches get my vote and I’d purchase in a heartbeat, After all if they can handle 40+ degrees Celsius and the Dirt outback roads during an Aussie Summer and don’t miss a beat. That’s when you know you’ve bought the closest thing to a road legal tank money can buy.

is it possible to replace the standard front windscreen & the large side glass windows in the VOLVO B11 R Luxury Coaches (RHD) with 6.0 in. thick transparent armour (armoured glass)??? the armoured glass has to provide B6 level ballistic protection against small arms fire & armour piercing rounds!!! please note this is a serious enquiry for a fleet of specially built protected B11 R & B13 R in addition to the 9800 DD coaches from VOLVO!!! request quote & advise!!!

Guys, most of the dashboard hasn’t been upgraded in 15 years. It’s good to keep a design which drivers like but it does look dated.
