I LOVE Ghost they are NOT long haired, BUT, they are great Swedish semi metal, SOME songs are kinda metal and some are just good "whatever" they are considered. You'll LOVE em or HATE em I guess. The vocalist has a unique voice, I could hear him talk about wiping his butt and it would sooth me to sleep, BUT, he could also sing a song and sound very NON smooth and soothing, oh, hell who am I kidding his voice is always soothing no matter what, IF you haven't heard Ghost I recommend listening to them, I recommend "mummy dust". You'll love em or hate em.

Honestly, 80s nostalgia has been pissing off lately. Every genre film these days etc just seems to hollowly ape the 80s as an "homage". They never actually FEEL like 80s anything, just a meme of what people think the 80s were like. This band though, I honestly mistook them for a genuine hair band for a minute. I thought: "wait, who is this? I don't remember ever hearing them." This is the most genuine 80s sound I've heard.
Finally... I've been waiting for a long time to find a band that made rock music with the brilliance of bands from the 80's and that was not a crude imitation or it sound old. These guys play well, and they're fun!!! And that's what rock and roll is all about? I know they played a few years ago but they are still quite a new group and it shows. Because it sounds fresh. Simply cool. I discovered them casually and I'm really glad I did it.
Crashdiet, Loud N Nasty, Reckless Love, Peepshow/states of panic, Sister, Sister Sin, Nasty Habit, Wildstreet, Frenchkiss, Toxic Rose, Sweet Creature, Panzer Princess, Jailbait, Foxey, Dynazty, De La Cruz, Santa Cruz, H.E.A.T., Gunner, Danger, are all part of the same scene. Crashdiet and Loud N Nasty have been around a lot longer then Crazy Lixx. In the Crashdiet Rest In Sleaze live show from 2005 I believe, Guitarist Martin Sweet is wearing a Crazy Lixx shirt.

Great video. Every guitar player has a story about doing an audition that....didn't go well. I was asked by a friend at work to play bass for her new band she was trying to put together and a guitar player she had just met the week before started ripping into my world. Didn't like the bands I mentioned and just plain didn't like me. While he was in the middle of spewing out sewage about my musical tastes I simply smiled and said "It was very nice to meet you" and shook his hand to leave. He was completely shocked. His attitude completely changed and he offered to help me pack up. Again (with GREAT RESTRAINT) I smiled and said, " no thank you." I thought about breaking my guitar over his head..... would it make me feel any better? YES!! It would have but I'd have take his whinny ass to the emergency room. So I took a DEEP breathe and just let it go. Turns out...he didn't get the job either. He had been kicked out of his other band for being such an A-hole. Go figure...
I grew up in the 80s . I was very young . I sincerely believe. This band to be more sincere . Spirit of the 80s . Than American all looks no hooks bands ! They are more sincerely genuine 80s . Knowing there is no easy ride ! Blood sweat and tears ride or die . Is the true spirit of 80s great hard rock and metal . 🤘💯♥️
