Mine arrived today and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I thought the AI might have been a selling point, but I genuinely found myself using it almost instantly, even if its to find certain settings quickly. It's getting a 10/10 from me.
Fold vs ultra hmmm. I currently have a Galaxy Fold 4 which is awsome and have not upgraded yet. So switching to another Ultra is debating. If they do a fold that incorporates all that this phone can offer and more. I still have my old s20 ultra and noticed older phones deliver better camera and photo quality than it's predecessors
This has got to be the most disingenuous advertisement of the S25 Ultra. Acting as if these "new" "AI" features are unique to the S25 Ultra and is reason to buy the S25 Ultra is despicable. And might I had, Google Gemini, now brief, and many of these other "AI" functionality is an absolute mess.
All the AI bollx is coming to the s24 series AND its only free for 6 months then its subscription BUT youll still have all the bloatware on ur phone if you dont subscribe!!
The more you use the phone the more the ai (samsung) knows about you, the smaller the world they box you into, the easier it is to control you. - just some guy passing by
Samsung was clever, and a lot of creators are being fooled. They delayed the release of OneUI 7 and the accompanying AI to launch these updates on the S25U to make the phone look better, as, without them, the S25U is a minor insignificant upgrade. The reality is that after the pre-order period, Samsung will start loading most, if not all, of these features onto older phones. Making the S25U instead a plain upgrade. It is disappointing that creators are seemingly towing the Samsung line here rather than being comprehensive--instead acting as a marketing ad campaign. Anyway, those people spending £1250 or the equivalent in Europe and most of the world will soon realise they haven't been told the whole story. As for the S25U, it is solid without standing above the crowd. However, it is becoming more of a phone for Samsung fans than something a random person would choose, as rivals offer better hardware.
Of course they are going to put the newest operating system on the newest phone. Why would they not? And what story are they not being told? AI is free for 6 months. Then AI cloud based functions will be subscription. It's not been a secret. And these expensive phones are going to appeal to just some random person anyway. These Ultra phones are ment for power users who usually find a brand they trust, then stick with that brand. And they are not ment to be upgraded each year, so upgrades aren't going to be mind-blowing.
You dont realize how powerful and efficient the new Snapdragon Elite is. Im at 52% left after 3 hours screen on time and 16 hours screen off time on my S25U in the first day.

You can literally say that about any company or any product.
