I have mold in my apartment. I live on a cement slab, and the humidity levels are extremely high. 65-80 from spring till cool Autumn hits. I have Asthma, and chronic bronchitis. My Allergist says the landlord needs to remove the carpeting, and I need to buy a dehumidifier, and an air purifier. I can't afford those! My "Subsidized housing company" sucks. Been waiting since December 2017 for help with the issue. Meanwhile, with the extra dampness we suffered this late Spring, and Summer due to heavier than normal rainfall the mold (yellowish in color) attached itself to my sofa sleeper, and under my platform bed! I'm coughing and sneezing like crazy. Black mold is also present in some areas. It's a nightmare! And yes, I do vacuum then dust, and very frequently. Every 4 days in fact.
