I have followed Johnny Cash from early sixties to now and many of his songs were not just songs but each was like a small production of it's own with with a story ,good back up and many with well searched history being acted out with his sometimes rough deep voice like Shifting whispering Sands or Ira Hayes and many more. Miss You John and some of your last efforts were great and much appreciated.
Maybe someone, who understands the whole idea of that song, can explain it to me? I understand that they drank not a coffee, but why Cash is talking about coffee and what is about Flo?
He came by to get a drink with his friend who makes moonshine. Flo is the friend's wife, who is asleep because it is late at night. He is saying "oh just coffee" but his friend knows what he wants and is putting moonshine in the coffee. The two of them get drunk and after a while Cash falls asleep.
I am only 12, but morden music makes my ears bleed, this music heals them, I have Cash,Elvis, Meatloaf, Beatles, and many more is all I have no morden :).

In the bag
Little bit of both
Been a long time. I had the LP, never showed up on CD. These were Johnny's dark years,

@alexey1983rus ДА, он явно под воздействием чего-то. Нередко с ним бывало.
What does that mean?
