Chesterfield Canal Staveley Extension Oct 2024

This video shows work progressing on the Chesterfield Canal extending it from Staveley Basin, from before the work began in March 2024 to the new bridge installation in October 2024.

Wow, what a lovely video. The future looks so much more promising now the new bridge is installed. I suppose the next phase will be seeing hundreds of those Volvo Dumper Trucks bring down the clay to the Puddlebank. Thank you for recording the history.

Thanks. Amazing how things can change so much and we forget what they were like before. My intention is to keep adding to the video as the restoration progresses so keep an eye on my channel for updated versions.
