A lot of it was overreacting and uncalled for, everything she was on screen I was swearing if she'd make another uncalled for face gesture I'm walking out, yeah the acting was pretty impressive but it was to much and it was every single time even when nothing was wrong.
Here's a fun fact. The origibal Invisible Man movie from 1932 is perhaps the only movie that I got nightmares from at the age of 24. The idea of a man wanting you dead and happening to be invisible is honestly one of the scariest concepts I could think of.

He gave us Saw, Insidious and also what I consider one of the best action sci fi flicks since Total Recall “Upgrade” it’s insanely good. I was never more satisfied with a villain's death, than with the one from this movie. No other movie was more annoying to me than the invisible man. The opening credits were cool tho

This is The Invisible Man’s equivalent to “THE FLY” (1986)… a remake that presented a bold fresh twist on the original classic sci fi story, that stays true to the original in a lot ways but man it is so hauntingly beautiful and mortifying. I recommend checking out Steven Spielberg’s War Of The Worlds which is another H.G. Wells classic turned movie franchise… a similarly remade classic given a more modern and terrifying remake.
The OG IM was kind of whacky, he drinks invisible juice and it makes him crazy, robbing banks and stuff. Making it a horror film where he gaslights an individual person makes it 10000x better, it fits way too well

Leigh Whannell really step up his game since Insidious Chapter 3 as his first directorial debut which turns out to be a complete mess until he directs Upgrade as the one of the best action-packed thriller movies ive ever seen.

Second - I would have obviously gone into detail that the dude is a tech god and somehow found a way to camouflage himself. There were so many ways she could have proved it but alas - the ending wouldn’t have happened and THAT was satisfying to me.

That description is so hilariously true, you even have a ton of women commenting about how "this could really happen" as if rich handsome guys aren't constantly labeled as scumbag players who don't care about their significant other, but at the same time are also possessive somehow. It's like the perfect self-insert mix between an ego trip & a horror movie.

I love how a woman can just watch this and be like "Yeah, that's just like me." No guy with that much money would be chasing after a 2/10 woman.

The attic scene in this movie is the only scene in any movie to actually scare me, that was a horrifying scene with so much leading up to it, a solid psychological horror movie I would suggest to anyone

This movie has one of my favorite iterations of stealth camouflage lol he managed to make it more effective than the Yaujta camo because his suit doesn’t have the telltale shimmer, it’d be cool if there was an option on the DVD though where they shot the movie twice so if you want to see the invisibility you can.
