I have already made my own iron man armour (the mark l looking hideously deformed and the MK ll looking way better) but this helmet just brought the suit together. thanks so much mate!

Its very good but I am gonna have to edit it a little bit for it to be able to open and close. I probably will just place a hinge and leave it at that. I hate circuits even tho I probably could pull this off I wont put a servo

Winner of a video, I have been researching "iron man costume amazon" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Xenacob Heyndrew Guide - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my neighbour got excellent results with it.

i made this and painted this with metallic colors, its a nice room decoration. especially when i added lights to the eyes
I have watched tons of videos and they all didn’t work for me but this is different and better so I will build it thank you so much this was just what I was looking for I will keep you updated on the result!

I tried it.. If u would put the templates a bit darker.. And show it properly while sticking would help a lot... But was a good try which i did
There's an easier way to darken the lines.... And you can do ALL the templates UNDER ONE MINUTE.
Open the files in Microsoft Office program; then click "Edit Picture"
Click on the right "Brightness and Contrast";
then under "Advance Settings" which is "Midtone": adjust it to "-100" then save file.... (DO IT THRICE: Adjust Midtone to "-100" then save file)
By adjusting the Midtone to a "Negative 100" darkens the line. Doing it once or twice isn't enough, that's why its three times... then the saving file every after adjustment of the Midtone.

Ill figure it out but sshyyit,lol,and FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO DO THIS THESE TEMPLATES DO NOT GIVE YOU THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF TEMPLATES SO YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE A DOUBLE FOR SOME PARTS.other than that its all good.mine came out great for first a timmer.I also used foam board from the dollar store.worked amazingly well.super easy,super fun !!!!!!!! Does it fit on your head?
@@daydreamermi8502 no its too small. get a pepakura template then you can resize it
You can print it using the "Paint" program.
You can adjust the size percentage before printing
Your computer will calculate how much more paper you will need for a bigger-size print.

I’d try just doing somewhat the same thing he did with the cardboard with titanium alloy.. it definitely wouldn’t be easy.. if you were looking to build it yourself that’s my suggestion.

I just want everyone to know that these templates he is using are meant to be small. As you can see the helmet is as big as his hand. So your gonna have to resize them and I recommend taking a picture and then just zooming in
if you was to make it out of flattened beer cans inside out this would look cool just need to figure out how to stick them together ..thanks for the template 8)
That is what I was doing, I just used painterstape, and it held it together pretty good:)

This is amazing. I think I am going to make this out of 5mm craft foam, glue it together with contact cement, and paint it. One question though, can it fit on your head, or is it more of a design piece?
Design piece
Make one in paper or cardboard so you can determine and adjust the size before cutting the foam
When I printed out the the templates on your page, I realized they came out a little smaller than average. I can resize them but it would be helpful to know if your helmet that you made fit your head. Btw 10 / 10 video
HuffleMort same happened to me. I made the helmet with the above A4 sheets and it was too small for my 5yr old. Defo needs A3 for adult shaped head.
Paolo Camillo is it more difficult to make it with smaller pieces ?
cedric saintpaul its fine to put together at any size just useless at the A4 size. Im on my second one its in between A4 and A3 for my 5yr old. Looks like it will fit better.
You should take paper size of A3

so i wanted to actually try this, his tutorial actually has more peaces (basically double peaces and some he never tells you till you've already glued them on, and some he never really shows you how it is really made, so this is very hard to actually make
@apple barf hot glue like everything else, I couldn't finish though because some things are off camera and the tutorial is so far fake and doesn't show everything

Wow I actually did the same thing 9 years ago but this guy is far better!
Thanks for the template but the lines are too thin and the printer couldn't print the lines so that they were visible so i edited it in paint and made the lines thicker. So for other people could you make the lines thicker so others won't have the same problem that i did.

Others say that the template is small, you'll have to adjust (enlarge) it to whatever percentage necessary.
I might not make the helmet since I have my own cavemade (uhm... homemade) Mk42 Iron Man Helmet... from a bunch of scraps...

LEMON GOD 00 Is THE template supposed to be on A4 paper
its supposed to but some people say it should be A3 for bigger heads
but i am also starting today and just experimenting with the templates

Three things concerned:
One: Detachable faceplate
Two: Head entry... looks like it won't open more because its glued
Three: Glue used... Don't know if helmet will fall apart if left in a closed car in a hot day
Ik this is late but you could use paper mache to reinforce the mask to be more stable and lest likely to slowly fall apart on a 90 degree summer day
